Take a walk around the all-new Sprocket & Sprocket X with Off Grid Trailers.
Learn more about the differences: offgridtrailers.com/sprocket-...
The Sprocket is Off Grid Trailers' new lightweight offroad trailer that makes the great outdoors even more accessible. The Sprocket has a modular design, which means you can start small and work your way up by adding more creature comforts and accessories to your rig over time.
The all-new Sprocket is a lighter-weight, more affordable camping trailer built on our popular Expedition chassis. This all-metal off-road capable camping trailer is built to last with the same quality craftsmanship and engineering you would find in our other models. However, we have designed the trailer with modularity in mind, to make way for the after-market and passionate D.I.Y enthusiasts at an affordable entry price.
This lightweight sleep-in camping trailer is R10 insulated and has a queen-size polycarbonate honeycomb sleeping area and pass-through rear storage. The base model will come standard with no kitchen or onboard water, but we offer options for outfitting the trailer to your needs. Two optional roof racks have a static load rating of 1000 pounds. The standard Timbren 3500 HD Axle-less suspension is quite capable, but you can also upgrade to the OGT Evolution Series Suspension for 8 inches of wheel travel and an additional 4 inches of ground clearance.
As your adventures change and develop, you can purchase new accessories for the trailer at your own pace. When the kids require their own sleeping space, you can add a full-length roof rack to support a rooftop tent. When you decide to opt for more storage, you can install additional side boxes. If you choose to tackle tougher terrain, you can upgrade to the OGT Evolution Series Suspension.
What is the difference between the Sprocket & the Sprocket X?
The Sprocket comes standard with a half-height front box, large enough to accommodate a 30L Truma Fridge whereas the Sprocket X comes standard with the same full-height front box and luggage carrier you would find on the Expedition which is large enough to accommodate a Truma 69L Fridge/Freezer. The Sprocket allows you to option a half-length roof rack consisting of 4 cross bars, whereas the Sprocket X allows you to option the same 6 crossbar, full-length roof rack you would find on the Expedition.
Both the Sprocket & Sprocket X features a queen size sleeping area, pass-through storage, and optional drop-down kitchens.
What is the difference between the Sprocket & Expedition?
The Expedition comes standard with a 31-gallon CSA certified potable water tank plumbed into a hot water on-demand system featuring a 10-liter propane tank, whereas the Sprocket does not have an on-board water option or a hot water on-demand system.

  • Interesting. Given the price point, it fills a valuable spot in the OGT lineup. For someone who wants a expedition, but who can only afford a Switchback. It lacks the wow factor of the Expedition. But it's a lot more accessible. I hope to see lots of sprocket content moving forward.

    • @pcmountaindog I priced one out this winter, and it's over $30,000. The expedition is closer to $45,000 with a few options. But check out the website for more info.

  • Trailer's seem really well built and nice, for me way to expensive for a trailer i can only use for solo/wify camping. At some point some one will figure out a way to get this down closer to 10k then maybe we can talk.. just some feed back on the video i dont know if some one was sleeping while you were filming but you kept fading off it was very hard to hear you though most of the video. I had to crank the vol up to hear you over the music most of the time.. cheers

  • I have had other trailers in the past and now have an Expedition. It was a little more money I agree, but it was well worth it. I rough it out pretty bad all year round, including -30C cold weather. I made small DIY adjustments for the winter but I go everywhere with this. Will be glad to see the Sprocket at a show but the Expedition will be hard to beat even in the near future!

  • I love these trailers and understand the quality is there and that you get what you pay for. Unfortunately they're still priced far too high to make ownership possible, especially when you look at the price list of their options.

    • @@OffGridTrailers true, but you and a few others are way to proud of your stuff. And to charge an extra 4500 for the fab tech suspension is just crazy

  • Two different departure angle configuration in the photos on the website. Some photos show the departure angle going further up the back. In the video here it shows that as well. So I’m confused between the 2. Is the departure angle and dimensions the same on both?

    @ChasingDreamsLivingLife@ChasingDreamsLivingLife11 ай бұрын
    • The cover photo of the video shows the Sprocket next to the Expedition to show the difference. Both have a 50-degree departure angle, but the expedition extends an additional 12 inches.

  • But you cant open your swing gate on the jeep or bronco! This is a fail in the OffRoad Trailer Industry! These need to be designed to be able to open your tailgate while hooked to the tow vehicle with a swing gate.

    @ChasingDreamsLivingLife@ChasingDreamsLivingLife11 ай бұрын
    • With the hitch extended, you can open your tailgate on Jeeps & Broncos. Out hitch has 2 settings, one that is shorter and the other extends it 8 inches to make room.
