Hey guys! Which of these puzzles did you manage to solve?
Hey BRIGHT SIDE in no 11 you can do 11-11=0 move middle stick in 4 |_| To | | approve? |. | |

Great Video!
Non of them😢!!!!
In 545 plus 5. You can do 5 plus 5 plus 5 equal 555 another way by putting a slope into equal sign makeing it inequal
3:20, or you could just add a line across the equal sign, so it says 5+5+5 doesn't equal 550
Gwendolyn Smith that’s what is was thinking
Same
That's what I was thinking too
Gwendolyn Smith that is what i was thinking too xD
I think I know the answer to 15 is 43465
#4 ain't the only solution.... if you put a stick on the equal sign (not equal sign), the "equation" will still be correct because 5+5+5 is NOT equal to 550.. this, still, is an equation.
kartalgurhan did the same!
So true
I did the same!
kartalgurhan I did the same thing..
kartalgurhan that's the same solution I came up with.
8:19 #11 it could have been 6 + 3 - 9 = 0
Thay was going through my mind
I mean I guess so
I also got 6+3-9=0
8 + 3 - 11 = 0
@@nemzkiepandzz1880 that's what I got
1:53 I would have removed the 4 central sticks :) creating 4 small squares and a big one
thats a cross not a square smart guy
@@rolfkjellberg5507 It shows a cross, but nevertheless it includes exactly five squares. It's not exactly a cross because the corners on the original large square are still there.
1:02 these two sticks make the cows head, so let's just move them to the right and voila, now our cow has a broken neck
Ray Silins ik right
Lol
Ray Silins I thought of putting one stick on the back so the other stick would line up and it would be behind
haha
Got all correct
For number 3, sure you got the cherry out, but in that turn, you just dumped all your wine. So who's the smart one now?
Wolframite THATS WHAT I SAID XD
Everything Sisters why would they just have a lone cherry in a wine glass then?
Everything Sisters and Wolframite it's only a math question
Wolframite why not grahbe the cherry and pull it out
Stick Asset or that too!
#15 is 4 The pattern is 4, 3, 4, 6, 4, 9, 4, etc. In other words, every other number is 4 while the rest are the last non-4 number plus 3. Another way to solve would be instead 4, 3, 4, 6, 4, 12, 4, 24, etc. This pattern is the same answer but instead of adding 3 you double the non-4 number.
Its 8 , just add a matchstick in 6 to make an 8 , but in your sequence the next number is 4 4 3 4 6 (4) 8
I agree

Correct

#13 only move two. He said u can flip it upset down too..... that's moving all them. Like if u agree
to top it of they didn't even do the flipped version correctly
Thats the exact same thing i said to myself
I don't like that one because the numbers should be the same size...those ones didn't even look like 1s...if u kept it a 4 digit number like I did, the highest number you can get is 9,988
Jake Henry, where did the extra matchsticks come from?
Oops I thought he said move 3

Q.13 I have a better anwser 51108¹¹
Put the 11 out the front, much bigger then. i.e. ¹¹51108
I am bad at math
2 things, as you said, that breaks the rules, so that wont help, but more importantly, my number is far bigger. The 11 out the front means that you construct a power tower that high. That means you take 51108 and take it to the power of 51108, you then raise 51108 to the power of the result and so on until you have 51108 used 11 times (so 10 raising to the power of). It is very difficult to beat tetration. It makes other functions look like nothing, especially for large numbers. The first step (i.e. 51108^51108) is already over 240 thousands digits long. Even wolfram alpha refuses to calculate the second step. It would be over 10^240000 digits long.

#5 is incorrect since you put the entire crab upside down but the claws are still technically still up
The Trump of God Ministries the ENTIRE crab is upside down, the arms are included if you turn over your device or head.
The fifth one can be solved by moving just 2 tho
Also if it's top down view it makes perfect sense
You ever wonder if they put things in incorrectly to have people argue in the comments?
They might just do that
There is more than one way to solve some of these =/ lol

For the #4 It's wrong, because it would make like this = 5⁴5+5=3,130
In 4th one you can put a stick on the equal sign so that it means unequal
JoeLikes GT that’s what I was thinking
Yeah
JoeLikesGT Yes, you could. Because Bright Side forgot the all important part about the equation having to be equal.
Omg same
JoeLikes GT um thats not an equation
8:10 just move the horizontal one in the 4 down to make 11 so it says 8+3-11=0. Much easier.
The Crafted Warriors true...
The Crafted Warriors I thought of that too
I did that
There's probably more then 3 ways to it
The Crafted Warriors or change the 8 into a 6 and the 4 into a 9 6+3-9=0
For #13, isn't 51108^11 also possible? Even if exponentiation is not allowed, you can make 501118 then flip to get 811105, which is larger than 801115
Well if we are doing this we can do some cool stuff
You could get 80^115
This done by flipping it, taking one of the zeros, and then make the ^ symbol between the 1 and 0
For number 6 I said move one of the sticks from the "V" to make a minus to form I/II-I which is 1/(2-1) which is 1
For number 11 you can also move the four and turn it into an 11... /:
Annika Angelo not as high tho
I think your equation deserves A+😉
Yes I wondered if someone commented this
Or turn the 8 into a six the use that stick to turn the four into a nine
Foot Dumbell that's what I did
On number 11 it said 8+3-4=0 instead of making it 9+3-4=8 I moved the flat match in the 4 to make it 11 8:20
turn the 8 into a 6 by moving one stick and turn the 4 into a 9 , 6+3-9=0
I thought it was 8 + 3 - 4 = 9 becuase 8+3 = 11 and i moved one stick to make the 0 into a 9
Purified Drinking Water :b yeah I said that top

He said two squares not 1 square and a random shape
8:11 move the top right match stick on the eight on top of the four to make 6 + 3 - 9 = 0. Oh nvm
4:13 square root of one can be positive or negative one, so the fraction will result to +-1
TacosForRewen no it can’t what’s -1*-1 ( it’s +1 btw)
That's a good catch, but there is a difference between x^2 = 1 so x = +/- 1 and sqrt(1) = +-1. sqrt is often taken to be the positive number such that when squared you get what you started with, which is why the quadratic equation has a +- in front of the square root. Though there are exceptions, (look at the sqrt defined on the slit of the complex plane for instance)
By definition of square root, it is the positive value. Sq root of 4 = 2 but not + - 2 X^2 = 4 X = + - sq root (4) X=2 or X= -2
I feel like the majority of these questions weren't explained properly enough for me to understand what to do. The word "replace" alone made me overthink with a confused mind.

BRIGHT SIDE 5
181105
The number 5008, why make a 1 in the middle and not in the front. Also 81105 > 80115
Actually there is a 2nd way to get 5 squares for the 2nd puzzle. Never said the squares had to be the same size. If you remove the center 4 match sticks your are left with 4 small corner squares and then the one large square around the whole thing.
Number 9 can also be done different to get 3 squares by moving 4. Move the 4 center ones to create 1 small square in any 2 corners of the large square.
5:36 "There's your two squares! Fair and sq."
for #4 you can put the matchstick on the = sign diagonally and it'll be 5+5+5 not = to 550 like if you agree
I Hate Peanuts. I said that too but wrong. Btw i hate peanuts too
7:52 you could literally just move the horizontal match on the 4 and place it vertically underneath the right vertical match on the 4 to make it 11. The addition sentence would then read 8+3-11=0. Much, MUCH easier (in my opinion).
True
Also: the horizontal stick who makes 4 put leftunder, 8+3=11-11=0
For no.2 you could also remove the middle 4 sticks
Random Fun that's what I thought
That’s not a square tho
ya it is
Ya thats what i did
that what I end up with
for # 11 you could also move a stick in the 4 to make and 11
Nope
Got that the first time and I still got it right!
AKA it's Tyler Your right in the mid of the four to make a 11
you could also move 1 mach stick from 8 over the equal sign.
LordDrakite that’s what I did
the 11nth question has another answer we have just to move a match stick from 4 so that it becomes 11 so 8+3=11 & 11-11=0
That's what I did too what up
@Upulee Samarakoon What’s 11nth? It’s 11th.
@@magepg3d1 it looks like u don"t make any typing errors
@Paven Sagar I don’t. Nice guess
6:55 so um.... Where's the other two squares? Omg but my favorite part was definitely 11:42 :O it was so amazing!
For number 11 you can make the 4 a 11 and have 8+3 - 11 = 0
Oinkaka Channel did the same
Yeah ok but where does the other match go?
Oh wait
yep and you can also replace the top right match of 8 and make it 6, then put it on top of the 4 to make it 9, which become 6+3 - 9 =0
thats what i did too lol
My answer for #3 Question is: I like Cherry so i don't want to remove it out of the glass. Haha.
Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy ii
Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy why didn't I think of dat!? I love cherries.
10
Same
mine is eat the cherry
In 4th one, put the matchstick diagonally on = sign and see the magic
3:22 or just put a cross on equal so it means not equal to
For number 11, you could also move one of the matchsticks from the 8 to make a 6 and put that in the 4 to make a 9 because 6+3-9=0!
Chloe eaton that’s what I did 😂
Same, that what I did
But 9 has a curve at the bottom so u would need a stick for that to
Thats not a 9 that's either a 9 without the bottom or a 9 without the left part.
OMG you read my mind!! XDDDD
On number 11 it was 8+3-4=0 I removed the horizontal line in 4 and brought it down to get 11 like if you did the same
Sam Rounds yeah i took 8+3-4=0 and made it 6+3-9=0...works :)
It is not valid because the number in that question is written like that in the calculator.
I loveed it but it was litle bit hard Hmmm.....🤔✌😝
1:55 you could’ve moved three from the center square so you get one in the top left, top right, and three at the bottom You would also get the big square, (the one the small squares are in and the 3x3 one) which gets you to five squares.
...yea....now the cherry is out, but what about the wine? Is it just flowing everywhere?
#savagejokes he or she will get burnt😨
You gotta do what you gotta do to not have that cherry in your wine, even if it means completely spilling it over.
Hahaha. Lol
My idea was move 1 stick 2 times to squidh teh cherry
it does not have wine
#13 (9:30) OR, to get an absolutely incomprehensibly ginormous number, you take the matchsticks from the SECOND 0, turn the number around, and crumple up one of the matchsticks into a ball, and create an exclamation point in front of the 81,105, effectively getting !81,105 (81,105 factorial) which is 81,105*81,104*81,103... etc. HUGE number. Edit: Wow you guys are coming up with lots of cool ideas! Keep em coming!
The Crafted Warriors glad to see other nerds around
Lol
I always learned that it could be both, but maybe the way you learned, you always put it behind. Either way, at least you got what I meant.
The Crafted Warriors or you can make it 5003 to the power of 7.
I feel like for it to count the 7 has to have the 2 vertical sticks to make it look like a real 7. What I would do instead since exponents are smaller anyways is break the horizontal stick of the 7 in half so that is is proportional to a normal 7. Great idea though!
The last on is the each 2 numbers are going up in 3s so the last digit is 9...
10:07 nope that is not answer The answer is 11^81105 (Making small 11in left up corner and flip it)
8:29 for #11 you could also adjust the horizontal stick in 4 down so that it becomes 8 + 3 - 11 = 0
Mike B I did that too
i like how you used that thing for E.G. 1:26 4:59 3:57 14:09
That was what I did
Same theres more thenone way... I did a different way with the squares and triangles to

AJ Halime im afraid no he dosnt
Dude I agree! Freaking 6 sides isn’t a square! I’m not that good a math but still! I’m smart enough to know a square is four sides!
You can also move a stick from 8 making it 6 then put it on the 4 making it 9 so it will be 6 + 3 - 9 = 0
Answer no.15 is... Oops! No matchsticks left
Answer no. 15 is 434649
😂😂😂
Pria Gill I think you are totally wrong
8:07 I removed the top right match from 8 to make it 6 and then placed it above 4 to make it 9 I.e,(6+3-9=0)
Same, but the way that they make their nines, ours wouldn't have the foot at the bottom.
I took the vertical match from the plus sign and added it to the end to make 8-3-4=01
Hayden Krapes but that’ll be a short one
hw2 here same
But you need to move one matchstick
For #7 You only need to move two match sticks...
I figured it out....
How?
Eric Leach it's a secret for the smarter ones.
Eevee RealSenpai come on
But one matchstick is unused
7:55 It could’ve been 8+3-11 = 0 or 6+3-9 = 0
Yeah
#2 can also be solved by removing the 4 center matches. As that would leave 4 corner squares intact as well as one large square they still make together as the outer line isnt broken
got answer for all don't move em cause they say don't play with matches
nicholas zguro only you can stop forest fires

nicholas zguro use tooth pocks. Now I gotcha

4: I answered it by making it 5+5-5 does not = 550
So it's 5+5-5=5?
@@iamzhenn7021 no he added a slash on the equal using the matchstick of the plus symbol therefore making it minus

On number 4 you could also add a matchstick across the equals sign but the top is a bit slanted to the left or right and that would show that it's not equal
Tricks and more daily Skatepark madness Exactly what I was thinking
Yeah, that's what I thought, and it's a better solution than the one they came up with.
This was my first thought as well.
I thought that too.
3:26 you have put the matchstick to the equal sign and then it would be 5+5+5=/550
For #4 I just grabbed one match from the plus sign and put it inside diagonally in the = sign 5+5-5≠550.... ≠ means not equal to therefore I made it correct
6:56 there is another way to do it
Yh by moving the sides of the small square and joining them to the sides of the big square this method is alot easier lol
I'm Blue Power I KNOW RIGHT
At 8:30 you can move the middle stick of the 4 and make it 11, that works
Albin Westman I agree
Nice
omegasuperfoo9 dud, you don’t make the 8 a nine, you keep the 8 and move the stick of the four down.
Albin Westman I thought that to
it does
8:22 you could’ve just moved the middle match stick in the four to create a 11
6:53 Just move the bottom stick from the small square and connect it to the bottom left corner and then just drop the rest of the small square, tell me if I'm wrong
WAIT WAIT WAIT ON #13 you can take the stick from the middle of the 8 and make a nine out of the five!
thecowboi039 I said that too
same here
Or take the middle of the eight make it into a 9 out of the 5 and then on the 2nd zero take the bottom left corner of that zero and place it in the middle of the zero, and have 2, 9s In summary you got 9,900
Turn the 8 into a 5 an give the entire thing the exponent of 11. That’s the correct answer. 5005^11. This equals 49367927004651487418465090576709033203125.
INLINE genius
For #4, can’t you just make the = a not equal sign?
Yeah, I thought that was going to be the answer
Same
And me
Q4: I just put the matchstick diagonally over the equal sign, so it reads 5+5+5 is not equal to 550 :p
Awh I only worked out one at least😌😁
For #9 you can move all the four middle matchsticks in two pairs in each corner of the big square and vola, one big and two small squares..
You could also just move 3 of them...
Kristian Berget thats what i thought
6:34 you could move 2 matchsticks of the small square (that are beside each other) to the corner of the big one and do the same on the other side to make 3 squares.
The question u gave is incomplete It has multiple answers that is 4,8,etc.
#13 so may possibilities!
I believe after some experimentation the highest you can get on #13 is 80^115
For #11 i thought i need to remove the middle part of the 4 to make a 11 so its 8+3-11=0
lildragon 120 me too
But its still a right answer
I moved part of the plus sign and put it over the equal sign so it does not equal 0
I made a 6 out of the 8 and put the stick to make a 9 out of the 4. 6+3-9=0
lildragon 120 me too
1:45 you can remove the middle 4 and then there would be the squares in the corners and the one that connects them
#9: Move the two vertical matches of the small square upward one matchlength, so that there is a new small square against the center of the upper edge of the big square. Now you have two squares and one unused match. Put that match in line with the lower edge of the small square, to its left or right. Now you have the three squares and have moved only three matches. (Other orientations work too.)
Easy peasy lemon squeezy lychee🔥🔥
5:11 For this I made 5 + 5 + 5 = 550 into 5 + 5 + 5 ≠ 550. Look like we got slightly different answers.
YT7 That's not an equation anymore.
Umm... Yes it is. Have you taken 5th grade math? How is that not an equation? R u legit dumb.
YT7 "an equation is a statement of an equality" "equality is a relationship between two quantities or, more generally two mathematical expressions, asserting that the quantities have the same value" "An equation is written as two expressions, connected by a equals sign ("="). The expressions on the two sides of the equals sign are called the "left-hand side" and "right-hand side" of the equation"
YT7 Guess you're another 10-year-old toxic child that received once a computer for his birthday.
The video says "fix this equation." It however does not say "Make this equation into another equation that is correct." The answer given was correct. Just because it isn't an equation doesn't mean it's not right. You're applying rules that never existed.
I love the challenging videos!
Sabira Mirza me too
#3 You dont like cherry in wine ok? So you flip the glass upside down and the wine falls down but the cherry is still left..😂😂😂😂
7:48 #11 you could just move the middle line of the four down and to the left (turn it 90 degrees to the right) so the sum becomes 8+3-11=0
10: move only 3 match sticks Me: tryforce
Me: Triforce*
Thank you John, thank you.
Same
for number 11 i just took the middle match stick of 4 and made an 11 and that also equaled 0
Just making sure somebody caught it I see I'm four years late LOL
For Q 13 It could also be 51108''
#2 Removing the middle square's sticks also result in 5 squares
43 46 49

Yes!
GlitchNex Gaming 43 46 49
or 43 46 52
For #13, you could get 51108!!, or the factorial of the factorial of 51108 just by moving the two sticks on top and bottom of the zero next to the five to the end of the number.
how do you get a dot with a matchstick? I like 5^1108 much better.
Per Wagenius The red stuff at the end of the match stick.
You could do 11^51108.
i thought it would be 9000 if cuz two matchstick=1
Most of these puzzles state that breaking sticks is not allowed and imagining that the tip is separate from the stick is effectively the same thing. I think Per Wagenius wins this, though it requires using a format invented due to the limits of computers and displays not having superscript support. (It's still technically accurate, but we'd not write it by hand that way.) I don't have the weeks of time to turn the factorial into its basic iterations, or know of a program that would solve it. What does 51108!! work out to, if it was allowed? I'm sure it's massive, but curious if anyone here can share the answer to compare. 5^1108 resolves in one step, (on a calculator, at least!) 2.87584...e+774. (For the math illiterate, that's a number 775 digits long!) Dilvias failed by moving (at least) four sticks instead of two. I also don't think half-height characters count for this puzzle, though they might be used for superscript 1's. Tsegmed, I too got stuck on limiting to four digits (ala LED display) and came up with 9909. Move the bottom-left from the 8 to the 5 upper-right, making both 9, then move the bottom-left stick within the first 0, making another 9.
For number two, I removed the 4 middle square, which means that their will be 4 complete corner squares and the whole thing it's self is a square , which equals to 5 complete squares left.
Generating function for last sequence G(x) = 4/(1-x^2)+3x/(1-2x^2) but it is one of many possible answers
