    • Speak for yourself. "We all " not correct. Fischer admired Capablanca and I appreciate his talent as well but I actually enjoy and learn more from his losses than his wins because it HAS to be a good game when Capa loses. (Virtually always a good game). And so, I get tired of hearing his name over and over again. Reminds me of the mst3k riffing of "Outlaw of Gor" where the hero's name is repeated ad nauseam in the beginning. "Cabot!" Link: kzhead.info/sun/gtdml6luqZmjfoE/bejne.html BTW.....there is a great Fabio comedy skit by mike and the robots in the beginning. (start @4:20 )

  • Dude, i improved my rating on Lichess from 1150 to now 1600 (once almost 1700) just by watching your videos since the beginning and doing some training on Lichess. All openingtheory i know is from your channel. What I'm trying to say: I don't care how long the Saga will take. A game of chess is a game of chess and your skills of expression do impress and teach whatever you show.

  • Hello guys, I am from Sri Lanka and I'm a fan of this channel for about a year now. Few weeks earlier on Easter Sunday, 11 suicidal bombs have been blasted in three churches, during the Easter mass, killing almost 300 lives and around 600 were injured. Bombings were found out to be from the Terrorist group ISIS, as an revenge for some nasty shit happened to them earlier on this year. Anyhow the whole country social media sites - Including KZhead - were blocked from that day on to limit the spreading of rumors but everything got figured out eventually so that they opened all the sites again few days back. I was pretty eager to watch all the missed videos during those days and finally I finished watching them, Including the Grenke championship. Its sad that, even in this modern age, people are still killing other people for religious beliefs and me and my family are very sad for the ones who lost their loved ones. Nice to see that Agatmator and his family plus his dog are doing fine and I hope all the brothers and sisters are doing good and being safe. And also guys " Say yes to CHESS and say no to WAR " Peace!!!

  • #suggestion After watching your previous video, which started with board being flipped upside down, I came with an idea, that I'd actually love to see some games from a perspective of a black player! Most of my chess knowledge comes from internet and almost all positions, games and tactics are shown from this side of the board and for a person who learns by recognizing images and positions it's harder to learn to play black pieces actually. Seems kinda funny, I know, but at least in my case it's true xD I'm actually curious if I'm the only one, who would like to watch the footage from the darker side, it would be something really refreshing!
