Henri Leconte was born on July 4, 1963 in Lillers, France. In this video you get a small impression of the genius of the Frenchman. His left arm touch was similar to John McEnroe. Henri had incredible talent. Unfortunately he played the clown too often on tour. If you like the video and would like to support my channel, I would be happy about a subscription or a thumbs up. Have fun watching.

Leconte was a player with unbelievable natural tennis instinct. Skill-wise, he was right up there with McEnroe and Sampras. The problem was that he was so unpredictable. On one night he handled a top class player so easily, but on the next night he lost to a player ranked 100 below than him. But it was always a joy to watch his flamboyant games in the 80s.
aptly formulated
To be unpredictable was a great part of the charm, I liked to see him even when he lost.
Talento immenso
Qué manos!
Un artiste !
fantastico
Leconte like so many other flashy, streaky players in that they all relied on mood and timing. If they were on, they were spectacular. If they were off, they could be terrible.
Dany 54 ans
