I'm 14 years old and was going throw hard time in my life. I had lots of family problems, lots of bullying, and lots of people telling me how I am going to be when I get older. But this song is helping me throw a lot of hard times and one day I wish to meet Tamela in person and just thank her for everything she did for me. Amen! People are so quick to call people unbelievers who go to therapy. But that's not even the case. The Bible said that GOD gave us all spiritual gifts. Some he gave to be teachers, preachers, and those who have encouraging words. And I believe therapists fall in the category of encouragers
AMEN! It's been time to discard the stigma of Counseling/Therapy in the Church! If more people would be honest with themselves & others, there would be no one saying this is so ungodly or that you don't trust God enough! Why? Because many more have received Counseling/Therapy than care to admit it & solo many more need to get it, but are too proud or caught up in appearances and what other people think!
I was dying from kidney failure and He gave me a kidney transplant just in time. I thank Him for helping me! ❤

Thanks for sharing your experience made me cry. I had to live with my mother after my grandmother passed and she let me know how much she never wanted me. She constantly told me she should have aborted me and that I was worthy of nothing! I swear I battle being kind to her to this day, I'm in counseling it helps with the understanding that she was/is severely mentally ill bipolar/paranoid schizophrenic.

(A never before told, True Story) The only person I ever told this to is my mother and an unknown pastor. I was sleep when I was suddenly awakened by the alarm going off in my apartment. Falling out of bed in a panic from the loud abrupt noise, I hit my head on the side table. As I was standing up, I heard car alarms going off. I looked outside my bedroom window when i was finally able to stand without loosing my balance. All the alarms from the vehicles in front of the building and lined up and down the street were going off. Surrounding the building, dark figures were everywhere. Skipping down the street was a little girl with pale skin, bleach blonde hair and she was wearing a cream colored dress with blue flowers, white ruffled socks, and white dress shoes. She appeared to be around eight years old. The dark figures were chanting but I couldn't make out what they were saying because of the vehicle alarms and the alarm going off in my apartment. The little girl's mouth was moving and she was smiling as she was skipping and spinning down the street. Suddenly, she stopped and looked up at me. It got cold in my room and I felt a breeze on the back of my neck like someone was standing behind me blowing on the back of my neck. A weird feeling fell over me and it felt like my body was drowning and my spirit was floating. I felt a soft touch across my neck and wispering in my room. I was so afraid, I didn't know what to do. The little girl was still looking up at me. Old lady Jenkins and her three cats were standing outside. They weren't moving. The cats backs were arched, eyes bleedind and hairs standing straight up. I have been afraid of cats every since. It was so cold. A below zero, zero freezing cold. A cold that no one would be able to survive. I took a couple steps back. I took a look at tbe clock, it was three thirty three in the morning. I just stood there staring at the clock. I don't know what happened between three thirty three and eight o' clock, but I woke up to Mrs. Jackson calling my name, and asking me what I was doing sleeping in the hall on the floor outide my apartment. "It's eight o' clock in the morning girlie. What are you doing out here? You don't have any clothes on and your door is wide open." I jumped up, ran inside and slammed the door shut. I just stood there, not knowing what to do and scared to go any further. The rang and I immediately ran and answered it. It was my mother, my best friend. She called me every morning before she passed away to cancer. I told her what happeded, and she said it was probably a nightmare that just felt like it was in all reality. It felt so real to me, it couldn't have been a nightmare, or was it. So many thoughts were running through my head. I didn't go to work that day. I was to frightened, startled. My mom came over and we talked about it. She held me while I cried telling her the story detail for detail. She was telling me that it was just a nightmare, but the look in her eyes was saying something else. That night, it happened again, and everynight for a week straight. One of the nights, I was fighting demons to get off of me. They were surrounding my bed, all around the room, and all over me. They had me pinned down on my bed. I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't scream. The phone rang and they disappeared. It was my mother. I couldn't talk. As soon as I picked the phone up, I heard her soft voice on the other end. "Pray baby girl, pray." She told me that she had been praying for me. It's like she knew what was happening. What I was going through. I could hear it in her voice and I could tell that she was crying and scared. That's when she told me that she went through the same thing when she was 17. I never prayed before. I didn't know how to pray. I didn't know what to say. So, all I said was "HELP ME GOD" I went to visit a local church. I told the pastor everything that was happening. He prayed for me and I gave my life to God that day in the name of Jesus and that night and every night after, I have had a peaceful sleep. Written by Latoshia Fisher

I work in healthcare and the staffing shortage is crazy! I was having a stressful day of being nurse and CNA do to staffing and I heard one of the resident’s listening to this.
