This might come as a surprise to you guys, but supercell doesn’t want their games to be bad. The problem is that the monetization system they chose for CR is kinda bad and requires extra attention to work, which supercell has not been providing.

I'll trust that % upgrade as far as I can throw my phone. I'm currently sitting at 2-3% chance of getting Cannoneer instead of Princess, and I had maxed Princess tower since that update dropped.
I think the lightning mode is just a global lightning, it targets the highest hp troop on the field

The thing I hate about this update is you can no longer view masteries from the character card. You can only view them by clicking the masteries button in deck builder or in the character badges, neither of which is sortable.
I just figured out the pattern of these lightning strikes.. It isn't just random lightning strikes .. Its a regular lightning extending throughout the arena which strikes the unit with the top 3 highest hitpoints in the arena at that particular instant.. And thats the reason why LEX's evo firecracker wouldnt die at 3:51 and instead it strikes GIANT , MINER , RASCAL BOY ..

I've done some quick math's to check the estimated probability of getting a legendary if I fully understood all the information given. The rarities must go in chronological order (common, rare, epic and legendary), therefore you cannot skip a rarity (such as common to epic cannot happen). Correct me if I'm wrong since I haven't revised probability in some time, but the chances seem to be a 1.5% of getting a legendary.

This is definitely a good step in the right direction to combat the bad updates the game has received lately.
The lightning challenge is just a full arena lightning. 3 zaps, each targeting the highest health troops on the field
For the clash royal surge challenge every 30 seconds the arena lights up and then strikes the 3 highest health targets like a normal lightning spell. This means that if your opponent has 3 high health units on the board your lower health units are safe.

In other words, it’s a 1/60 (~1.667% chance) of getting a legendary, considering you can do this daily for 2 months straight, the OP is theoretically correct at getting one guaranteed in 2 months. (Reason: ~1.667 x 60 = ~100.02 THEORETICALLY, you could get much earlier or much later if lucky/unlucky)

This is because dont add them up, u would find the percentage chance of the first operation 50%, and then repeat that in the remaining chance(50%(remaining) * 50%(flip #2) before u add them(50% + 25% = 75%).

just so u know, according to royaleAPI after 365 days daily tasks, there is a chance of getting 4 evo shards Which means f2p gets 12+4 = 16 evo shards (2.5 evos) in a year out of 144evo shards (12*2=24 evos)
About the chalenges, do you get the books the first time you play AND win or just the first time you win but like from the 5th atempt you play?
They are random drops currently. Its once in a blue moon. I think the new update would increase that chance. I think they are trying to push for more level 15 cards. I just completed my Triple Musketeers to elite, but completing another card? Took me 3 to 5 months. Oi 💀 ☠ 💀
