I love Bean trailers!! The fiberglass construction makes them almost maintenance free. The pass through galley makes it usable on a rainy day. That’s my dream tear drop. That being said, you just want to give one a try check out an escapod. They are amazing. They will set you up with a rental in the park city or red rock southern utah. They will even deliver to your location if your not ready to tow yet. They are more affordable and if you love it your rental cost will apply to your purchase. It’s a win win. If you want to rent a Bean there use to be a few on outdoorsy. You’ll need a 7 pin and they are a little heavier. An almost 5 ft head space and fiber glass keeps me in the Bean camp but escapod is amazing too, and Utah is the best state to give them a try. Happy camping.
👍
Hi, Laura. Escapod is amazing. I've featured it in one of my previous videos
Thank you for sharing vids 👍. It’s AMAZING how far travel trailers and OFF THE GRID technologies have progressed 👏🙃 👽🛸
Glad you enjoyed it, Jason
The Bruder looks great, that's the kind of trailer to go on a little drive around the planet with...
Agree, their models are awesome. Btw, which do you prefer, the EXP-4 or 6?
@@MustSeeTech Although I do like the 4, European travel would be a bit more difficult with the kitchen over a length of time and, as we would be looking to spend a lot of time in it, the extra space of the 6, I'd just need something decent to pull it, oh to be financially independent, then spend a year or so having a look about....
Surprised Bean Trailer was not on here? One piece fiberglass shell for durability on washboard roads and a timbren independent suspension makes it a beast off road!
Hi, thanks for the suggestion! I have it featured in my video on new teardrops: kzhead.info/sun/d8uDirF9m4FrgH0/bejne.html
I just love bruder exp 4 but these Black series campers looks good too
👍 thanks for sharing
Good!
Happy you enjoyed the video! Please subscribe to stay to my future releases
These units have the performance and duribility that almost any owner could benefit from. They are far superior to any offerings in the built-to-a-price US RV market. But, to my mind, they lack the elusive quality of "livibility". I mean to say, they are designed for outback temporary camping, not day to day living which is what most owners seek. There is a market for a small 24/7 live-in trailer with the performance these campers.
Hi, Stephen. Thanks for the feedback. It would be nice to have everything at once, I agree 👍
Love number 10 and so many others how do I get a hold of one of these
Hi, just contact the manufacturer. I have their website links in the video description
Interesting
Thanks for watching! Glad it was informative
I could build a full cage tube steel frame. Aluminum shell, a I beam radius arm suspension. Insulation and thin wood interior walls, cabinets draws and slide outs. Water heater, pump, fridge, heat generator etc.. for way less than 40 k or 96 K and it would be tougher. My tent is fine for now and better than towing off road.
Hi, I am not arguing with that. Some people just don't have the time, skill and energy required for building their own trailer. Plus, if you do decide to build your own it is nice to have some ready-made examples for inspiration, don't you agree?
@@MustSeeTech Yes most can not build a trailer it takes a mechanical type with tools. Examples help and made me think the frame and suspension are not addressed on most for faster rougher off road driving. I am aware that most looking for a trailer will not need suspension and cage rigidity but those that do trailers will not last many miles. With the cost of many of these so high I have not seen any of what I am referring too. Part of that could be those driving in trucks that can handle off road fast do not wish to have a trailer to pull ?
And these crazy places in Australia that nobody in their right mind in the states would go camping in just to find a few alligators, not very realistic and way too expensive
@@MustSeeTech not at these prices, you're turning the public off
In China, they are also... But for a quarter of the price.
Damn 35k is a lot of money. But it might be a good investment if u plan on living on the road and save a ton of money
1:36 Has Brüder already been sold to someone ? There is not the least video of private individuals about it.
Hey, either it hasn't, or rich people just don't bother to share
I wonder how much it cost for a trailer like that
$30K+ for basically a tent on wheels?? The hardtops are nice but I don't get spending that kind of $$ on the popup tent units
I guess you see something I don't, apart from the turtleback. Have a closer look, and see if you could build the same thing for next to no money. Even if you did build a trailer with a tent on it as many do here in oz they would never compare to these top of the line campers. If I had money Id love to have the Bruder EP - 6 and at over $100,000 US thats insane money, but then its not a trailer with a tent either.
The Opus is just too heavy. Dry weight of 4960? Man load it up properly, load up the family, put some water in it and you're creeping on the GCWVR of any truck. The Patriot camper is the one to go with if you're looking to stay outside the vast majority of the time, the true definition of camping. However, the lack of locks and the control center on the outside ruins it for me. However, I'm VERY surprised the Conqueror 490 didn't make it on this list.
Hi, James. I wanted to focus on the newest off-road trailers, that is why the Conqueror is not here. I have in one of my older videos: kzhead.info/sun/lc6Cc6uhe5qYgY0/bejne.html And regarding the Opus 15, 4960 is actually the curb weight, not the dry weight. Its GVWR is 6600 lbs, not great but towable.
Which opus are you talking about? My 2021 is only 2870 empty weight and I barely know its behind my when towing it!
👍👍👍
Hi, thanks for watching! Which trailer did you like?
Awesome
@@MustSeeTech ? All
I love all of these but the prices always scare me away.
Me too😂
where are kedrons?
Hey, I honestly haven't heard of them. Thanks for the suggestion. I will check them out 👍
@@MustSeeTech basically like blackseries but better.the only feature blackseries has on kedron is the rock slider
@@MustSeeTech Very big in Off Road Caravans in Australia
Just looked at the Kedrons and you are right, they look amazing! Just wish that they would export to USA.
kedrons blows the blackseries.the only goodthing about blackseries is the rock sliders
Including suv to or they Just joking 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Price of Bruder doubled in 4 years.
You couldn't find an English speaker to do the sales pitch ??
Was interupted by 3 ads even before the video started. Will not watch again!
Sorry to see you go, Mike. You missed an entertaining release
Me neither
I said before and will say it again. I refuse to listen to a computerized voice when it is just as easy to use a human one!
I said it before and I will have to repeat. I am human. I just have an accent that sounds strange to your ears.
I feel the same way
@@MustSeeTech it sounds terrible! Get a clue, and hire somebody else
Most of my viewers feel fine about my accent and can easily understand it. For now, I am not interested in letting someone else narrate videos for my channel
I want to watch these videos, but the narrator sounds like a machine and it's a real turn off, whoever is making these videos can do better
