The other guys seemed supportive of their special bond, which speaks volumes about their evolved maturity levels and respect for one another. It’s a shame they were not permitted to live out and proud. The whole group had the time of their life. I don't think it was ever Harry that was scared of anything. He's a very brave guy, and very open in his own way. If this relationship was ever real, it was most likely Louis that was scared of it being public, if either one of them was trying to keep it secret. Not saying that Louis isn't brave, he is as well. Just not as brave and forward as Harry. Harry's never been one to shy away from things. And he's definantly been open about his sexuality, even if he hasn't said the words straight out, he's never really actually hid it either. He's given very overt hints over and over, even as far back as the X Factor, when the band first started. Harry's never really needed to say the words out loud for people to get what he's saying. He's very good at saying what he needs to without the exact words. Louis however hides a lot of what he's feeling and thinking behind a smile and sass and sarcasm. I love Louis, but he does. He's not as open. I don't know if Louis is gay or bi or not. And I'm not going to define what he is for him. I don't have that right, none of us do. Only he has that right. But if he is, he's more likely to be the one that wanted to keep it secret. Which is fine. That is his right as well. As long as he isn't hurting anyone, he has the right to come out whenever he wants to, to whoever he wants to, in whatever way he wants to. That's not our right, that's his. Same with Harry.
Have you seen the interview where Harry is wiping away tears, and saying, "I've always wanted to be one of those people who doesn't care what other people think. But I'm afraid I'm not." It is both of them. But Harry in "Lights Up" says, The lights come up, and everyone can see who you are. I'm not going back. They are slowly coming out! I think since they are both touring in Catholic countries, they win't come out til after their tours

I think they felt very free and open about their relationship, until Louis was called to L.A. by Simon and threatened and they were no longer allowed to be together in a relationship, even in their free time. It all seems so wrong, and even illegal.
Nicely edited video and very sweet-whether they are still together or ever were together there was at the very least a love affair of the heart captured in the various videos and photos. (You know that some of the songs attributed to them here or meant as a stand in for their relationship were written by other people, right?)

Hopefully it is just another PR Stunt in order to peek peoples interest since Don't Worry Darling is just about to hit theaters.
