  • something that strikes me is that they all knew each other in real life. when you’re actually real friends and have that real chemistry it shows in the music. many ppl have tried to replicate that with discord gcs and “collectives” (like the 2020 hyperpop scene) but it never lasts bc the connection can only go so far if it’s only online. music can be a lonely career filled with fakes and opportunists, so im glad that bladee and whitearmor found each other and get to make a living doing what they love

  • I met WhiteArmor on TFL train in london. Will never forget that day. Hes such a legend and really pushed DG / SB sound along with Gud and Sherman, Those guys are so inspirational.

I was a huge fan of Lean and Bladee from like 2017/18,but now I like Whitearmors solo projects,Dod mark or VilluVilduVeta even more than their main music.

  • Shout out to you for providing this important information. I definitely learned a lot of stuff I never knew about the origins of the whole emo/soundcloud wave. Often times the most important and innovative artists get overlooked and the wrong people end up getting all the credit for bringing a new and original sound to the game. Nice work 👍🏼
