It just doesn't get more cinematic than this. The NBA Finals. Less than a minute left. Down one. The opposing team has the ball. You steal it from their best player. You dribble down the court. Your defender picks you up. Less than ten seconds left. You hit him with the cross over and break him. You take the game winning shot. And you hit nothing but net. The game ends. Forty-five points. Six championships. Zero Finals losses. That's perfection right there.
His footwork was flawless
If you really watch him, you can clearly see that every move, every play, every shot is with purpose...no wasted energy ... the man was smart
For me personally this game along with his performance the entire 98 season cemented MJ status as the GOAT. No pippen for much of the season, rodman's decline, age, fatigue and dead legs yet MJ willed a bulls team on fumes to the championship.
This man was fearless. 🐐 Never afraid to take the tough shots. Win or Lose.
First half 23 pts matching his number, end of the game 45 matching his number coming out of retirement. Damn this dude is a magician 🐐 🐐
This was actually the toughest road to the finals Jordan has ever pulled off.
"He's still Michael Jordan" the announcer states... truer words were never spoken. Game 6 away against a 60 win team, scoring hot. All the pressure in the world on you to deliver again, like you do usually do. I love when they show his misses with his highlights, you really appreciate it more that way. 35 years old, completing a three-peat, thats transcendent. Compare the rest to each other. There was nothing like him before and there hasn't been one close yet.
Final minute of the game. No Timeouts called. Ain’t nobody drawing up nothing. Let’s Play‼️ Real NBA
6 out of 6. Amazing, legend.
More than half the points are from him... Insanely unstoppable
that last shot should be the nba logo. That was poetry in motion mj just killed it. goat
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what a GOAT looks like. GOAT of his era and GOAT of all eras. Simply greatness.
I love how MJ always passed WHEN IT WAS actually the right play, but because he was the greatest scorer in the history of the game (forever) he shoot the ball because THAT was the right play. That’s my GOAT.
The jazz defense was really good, physical, tough. And MJ really showed here that he is the best to ever play...without question.
Phil Jackson: "Oh my God Michael! That was beautiful!"
He was giving the Jazz and their fans respect for making it "tough", even though it didn't go to a 7th game. Such a killer, there's never been a better closer in the history of the NBA than MJ.
Still the most watched game in NBA history. And what a finish. MJ was just indomitable.
“Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion”
MJ lettin the family stay back home so he can focus on the game
