My name is Leonard Mills and I run Coorg Rosewood Timbers a speciality timber merchant specializing in exclusive Rosewood timber, furniture, exports etc. I know what it is like owning Indian Rosewood. I play with them everyday ❤.

Thank you so much Bryan for cutting up those boards! I've had them since the mid 80's and they looked old when I bought them at a mid Michigan farm auction!

I just acquired a 1863 decker brothers grand piano (made in 1880) that’s solid Brazilian rosewood. It’s either restore or find another use(s) and really I got it for the legs. It’s solid and the wood is all right about an inch thick. Wondering if there’s anywhere I can call or what to sell some. It’s roughly 80 bd ft. For me, I build furniture and even though it’s beautiful, I think it’s better served being used for a guitar or similar instrument. I work with a lot of historic woods and aim to make the item match the wood and purpose of that makes sense.

Hello, I am the one that owned the wood Bryan cut up. Just checking to see what you did with your piano wood! I took apart a 1906 Cabinet Grand that was being thrown out. Amazing woodworking without Laser and computer cutting
