Yep, Most people say "I love what the animation looks like!" But what they are really talking about is the visual aesthetic.
I would like to point out that just because the 3D application can interpolate a motion from one key pose to the next doesn't mean that that's what the animator is gonna stick with that interpolation is still going to be manually adjusted by the animator, and sometimes it's going to be completely overwritten frame by frame also disney transitioned from maya to presto during (or before I don't remember) the production of strange world
theres forums , discords , youtube channels and everything else focused on key animation , but how those roughs are brought into 100% consistent style with perfect lineart, the inbetweening process , how its composited composited and how much animation and tweening is added in aftereffects , the relighting process and whatnot to get a high quality look you expect from new mid to high tier anime shows is every studios secret.

2d animators dont draw 24 frames per second.they draw on twos or threes maybe even fours
every mainstream 2d movie has 24 fps, shows and anime use twos and threes
