We are looking at getting a female this summer. No puppies, as he is fixed! But he needs a girlfriend. He swims too!! Look for another video soon with him swimming. Long live our Bostons!!!!

    • @@wolfie8227 Seriously? Dogs aren't humans nor can they think like humans. They don't think ahead like humans. Humans need to train their dogs. And yeah sometimes that means crating them or putting stuff out of reach. This dude yelling at the dog after the fact does nothing to teach the dog and only confuses the dog. He just knows the man is mad at him but doesn't really understand why. The dog obviously had some pent up energy. Maybe the dog needed more attention. Statements like, "the dog knew better" are some of the most ridiculous statements. Nope. The dog needs training and attention. It's the owners fault.

  • oh my god, so guilty and yet so cute. bostons just have that expression when guilty. the head down, the shaking body, the FLAT ears. i love this breed. my maccabee made it clear to me, when he was 5 months old, that he hated when i went away for more than 3 days. i travel for work, and when i got home after 4 days, he was happy and excited to see me, then trotted over to my suitcase, looked at me, tilted his little head, then promptly lifted his leg and peed on my bag. ''yeah, leave me alone for 4 days with you know who. i'll show you''. all i could do is laugh. love 'em to the end.

  • Maybe you don't know this, but all dogs are scavengers and apparently so many book bags left in one area and being alone in the house, his scavenger nose got the best of him. Lesson for the people in his life...When you leave, put the book bags in your children's rooms and shut the door. Then give him something to chew on...rubber toy, dental chews, because dogs have a strong desire to chew. I hope he didn't receive cardinal punishment when the camera was shut off.

    @BrandeArno@BrandeArno8 жыл бұрын
    • Dogs do improve though. I got a 8 yr old pug that swiped everything off my salon table for my scraps as soon as I left. I didn't do much but say "foei!" and still he quit stealing. They are like children, children have no guilt or our moral standards, thats all conditioned behaviour. Dogs correct each other for stealing food, nothing new, the "problem" is they live now. Dogs don't anticipate for future events, like the pack leader caring about leftover prey later on .

And as far as claiming the pet owner isnt walking his dog or he may not have energy to do this to their house....Then obviously you dont know Boston Terrier breed! Its DISGUSTING to call someone an abusive pet owner just because you didnt feel like researching facts prior to commenting! And to you, PearlJamMad....hey, your Boston Terrier is such a cutie and I think ur video is great! ty for posting!

  • I disagree with the comments that dog's can't associate their bad behavior with consequences. Our Boston slept upstairs in our room, but if he'd gotten in the trash overnight; especially after BBQ, you could see it in his facial expression right when you woke up. It was truly a blind test, because we had no prior knowledge of his acts, we'd been asleep. But if you saw that look on Rudy's face, you knew you'd be walking into a mess downstairs.

Yet he still decides to chew on what he wants . I also crate him . I just try to give him chances to prove himself to me yet he always manages to mess up. Don't get me wrong he does an awesome job at time when I leave him home . The thing about all bostons is that they are chewers regardless of their chew toys !
