@@marksreptiles1 awesome man thats amazing to hear and thats barely any of the knowledge shared had a full on 45 min video of knowledge
Appreciate the education brother '
Anytime man alex is really great !
I want a squam. Really bad. My sidewinder likes to blend in to the sand, and I love him, but it would be great to have a viper that stands out and can be observed and appreciated more often. Love the video.
Happy you love the video squamigera do tend to perch but a better display animal that will almost always be visual id reccomends wagleri, vogeli, gumprechtii, schlegelli, trigonocephalus and puniceus. Squams more often then not hidr to the extent of no visual tooo much of the time. Love sidewinders! Got myself a pair of cerastes cerastes and ive been in love ever since
@@Undisputedreptiles ahh thank you. I like the look of Wagler’s Vipers a lot too. Oh no way! That’s awesome. I have one Crotalus Cerastes but I’d love to get a Cerastes Cerastes.
Can I ask where you got your Cerastes Cerastes? Are you breeding them?
@@Venom-kf6jp got them from a gentleman by the name kobus henning. Hes a breeder here in rsa, unfortunately im not breeding yet
Great video
Thank you so much
Ja my bru great videos
Thanks man!
I just bought a Male squami. he's eating pinky mouse parts right now. great snake. where do i go to start really getting into this animals care? I'd like to get another squami.
Hey man, hopefully this video could help. Other than that their is a new book published that's written by DE Smedt j , called Bush vipers. I'd reccomend that book. Great place to start.
cool thank you I’m going to look that up. How often do these sweet babies need to drink? not finding that book on amazon btw
@@oreodoesit I mist twice a week. This seems to maintain humidity requirements fairly well
@@Undisputedreptiles I found it and bought it. I'm going to read it cover to cover. after reading it, joining a good internet forum, and getting a female squam, I'm going to want to talk to qualified breeders a bit more. after successfully breeding a pair I'm going to start looking into economical housing solutions for a breeding operation.
Cool video bro but this guys speaks in such a way that just makes me want to sleep
Spit it out dude
Dude, where are the pics of all those whites???

Can you hybrid squamigera and chlorechis together
Technically yes because both are in the atheris group.i would not reccomend it tho .
@@Undisputedreptiles … why
@@righthand2571 personal preference .I like clean bloodline animals .And im not a fan of hybrids. But like i said thats just my personal preference
@@Undisputedreptiles well I got to be honest I really appreciate you at least answering..
