Found out recently at my job that I was getting paid more than the employees that have been there over 7 years! I'm an honest guy and one of the other employees is the reason I have this job it's not fair I get paid more! The person that trained me is also getting paid less than me!how's that fair? here's the video and share with anyone!
All this over asking for a raise. These bosses are heartless
employers like that dont deserve good employees
Goodshit man love how y'all stuck together
thats what brothers do man, wasnt fair that i was being paid more than anyone there and worked their the least.
Bro that’s messed up he’s being a horrible boss
yeah... more vids may be uploaded later on lol. paying newer employees higher than the people who train or get the new employee the job. just horrible management.
@@taruto1992just leave.
@@taruto1992Thats your fault for bring deplorsble and replaceable
Hope that manager got fired.
hes the owner lol
Respect they all had each others backs good for them
The boss knows he can get replacements the next day to do the same job………otherwise the boss would be negotiating a raise
Whew, what a bad scene. I try keep emotions bottled up at work, though I really want to tell the boss she’s a worthless bully who contributes nothing.
You all deserve raises at least a merit increase, my goodness. I respect that you all stuck together. He can try to throw one under the rug but all of you naaaah take ‘‘em to court. What a weenie I hope you are all in better places.
75% of the United States workforce is 'at will.' While we don’t have the full context of the video, it’s likely that the workers didn’t simply 'ask for a raise' but rather were trying to coerce the company into giving them one. In an 'at will' employment scenario, both the employer and the employee have the right to terminate the employment relationship at any time. If workers want better compensation, they need to understand the importance of mutual agreement, not ultimatums.
I’ve had bosses like this, walked out without saying a word is a good feeling. Just make sure to not need them as a reference. That’s why the Covid loophole is a beautiful thing. Also, what is the company you use to work for? I’d love to give them a Google review.
AMBS in pleasant valley WV and yeah ive moved on since then now im a teacher/counselor.
AMBS= Absolute Massive Bull Shit
why would you work at such a crappy job for that long?@@taruto1992
Good for you guys exposing these losers I too will write a review.
Me too! She called herself a Godly person (you know the type. Bible in the rear window of car, Bible on her desk) and yet was nasty to everybody and they where scared of her, even her boss was scared of her! I warned her if she ever talked to me like that, I would put some GO in my step!
To Todduke: Togetherness is your manhood and courage. If you were doing this yourself with co-workers laughing at you -- you would think again.
I had my brothers back and would do it again, after finding out i was getting paid more than him and he was there longer i was furious. i told him instantly and this video is the result after a few days when we tried to talk to management.
Seven years on minimum wage. There are no victims, only volunteers.
💯 Percent correct... it's there own fault.. what stupid person would stay at a job 7 years
@@teetaunjj7894 my friend stayed at that job 7 years cause it was just a side check and was more about the people we worked with.
@@taruto1992yeah whatever you say😂
@@teetaunjj7894 Yeah exactly because people do not need rent money, ect. You have some serious mental issues which i would get checked up if i were you!
Unfortunately it’s so widespread. Nasty, disrespectful, dishonest, crooked bosses and managers. The surprising truth is that they actually don’t care if you quit, ant they prefer that you do quit so that they can hire new staff that is clueless and gets paid minimum wage because they are new. The longer the staff is ‘loyal’ the more expensive it gets to keep paying them. It’s all about the money and not loyalty
Here in NJ you’re screwed. They can come in and fire you for any reason any time unless you are under contract subject to collective bargaining. It’s called “at will.” It sucks.
The reality is, for at least 2 decades more and more employers are going the At Will route. It basically eliminates job security, as well as job description. So you can basically be fired just because someone doesn't like you or that you stand up for yourself.
it's the same way here in South Carolina
Just gather company information and everyone quit at the same time and go to the competition
Well done mate
The colors of those walls are enough to cause them to leave!😂
Employees like this is why I dont go back to the workforce. Retired at 42 and not having to put up with the over-aware is one of my lifes perks.
Good on you guys !
If I asked my boss for a raise, and he fired me, then threatened to call the cops…at that point if the cops are coming anyway I’m going to give you a REAL reason to call. Better make that call quick, you have about a minute before I get to my car and back 🤷♂️
Yeah, real smart. Now u don't have a job, didn't get a raise and u gonna spend a very long time in prison. Don't tell me going to prison over getting fired isn't stupider than firing someone for asking for a raise.
You going postal over a punk azz job😂😂 yeah fuck all that
This is why bosses insist you don't talk with your coworkers about how much you're paid, despite it being perfectly legal. They don't want you to know how much they're screwing you over.
Sheeesh he is terrible, just like my boss (about to be former boss lol) I hate toxic bosses like this who create a hostile work environment. Anyways, hopefully he’s not alive anymore.
Why would you stay at a place that didn't give a raise in 7 years?
my friend recording was there 7 years, he stayed cause it wasnt his main income and worked with friends
@@taruto1992 What was the job?
@@frogstomp11data entry for medical billings.
@@frogstomp11 basically guy recording was there 7 years, lady behind me 11 years and trained me, I was being paid more than them and I didnt think it was fair so i told them and we tried talking to management about it. management ran off after there shift even though we showed up early to talk. then couple hours later he came storming in demanding stuff and slamming his hand in the desk, and my friend said he was going to talk for us which he had permission and the boss said no he wasnt thats when he started recording and i starting going back and forth with the boss.
If you don’t like your pay, working conditions, benefits, etc., you are free to look for another job. You’re not entitled to anything.
Money grubbing boss only wants to pay the bare minimum.
You all should walk out together
This is why I have been self employed for 24 years!
You are well within your rights to do so he cannot fire you for that contact OSHA for violation
You call the cops on me in my presence you better take of sprinting 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Missing the first part of the video so we don't really know what occurred prior to this. As far as the guy who got fired, nobody is required to hand you a piece of paper to throw you out of their business. And the guy who complained about getting his starting rate for seven years...why didn't he just find another job? Nobody is holding you there and if you already know you work for a greedy boss/owner who doesn't appreciate you then just find something else. Bosses like this who take their employees for granted are everywhere but unemployment is the lowest it's been in 50 years so jobs are plentiful.
@Mark_Asread sure buddy like anywhere else has their shit together as well 😂 what a joker you are
I worked for 7 years at a convenience store for $6 an hour. Never got a raise and lost my 30 cent shift premium when I became the store assistant manager and switched to working 1st and 2nd shift. Never cried. Just kept working.
Typical WV lazy workers. If you did not get a raise in 7 years it is your own fault.
You really just said you’ve worked somewhere for 7 years at minimum wage
They all like their job and want to work. That's hard to find. Just give them a dollar
That is why the living wage is very important. As we all can see these hard-working employees are making $5 an hour while the raging owner does not want to pay them anymore than $5 an hour. This is absolutely horrific. I'm hoping these men were able to find better paying jobs.
$5 a hour? lol this isn't 1990.
Seven years!?
Need a part 2

@@jayo3074, Dear J.O., No sir, this is not rubbish, Read on. If the contract specifies the cost of living, other sundry raises, and opportunities for growth within a certain time, this is good. Theres a bunch of you guys and this reach a point that can not be tolerated as a employee, call a union asap!!
Most employers don't want to deal with unionized employees for good reason, so they would just let those employees go and find new ones at the lowest onboarding pay.
A European accent in WVU is so rare to hear its so trippy 😅
In the mean time might as well go get a fast food gig, they're getting a raise in April. 😆
Where exactly is this happening? The accents seem kinda all over the place.
Im English but live in America, thats probably where your hearing the mixed accents :) this is in WV
@@taruto1992 re-upload this with West Virginia Worker Exploitation in the title it’ll go viral
@@sportspokerguy3506 thanks for the advice! We want as many people to see how bad of a boss he is to work for.
It Just Might Be An Internationl Organization All Nationalities Welcome 😂🤣
You'd be surprised how diverse some places can be. I live in Iowa in a town where the population is less than 70k and I hear Spanish, Bosnian, French Creole, Pennsylvania Dutch, Afrikaans, various Pacific Islanders languages I can't name, and sometimes Mandarin at my job. Almost never German though, my second language, which sucks, but at least I get to practice my Spanish with the Latino customers.
What was the company name? I couldnt make it out.
AMBS
You stayed there six years too long.
My right ear enjoyed the majority of the video
Looks like your headphones are broken. The audio is working on both ears for me.
They should all walk out!
And Now. After being underappreciated for YEARS, the employees still wont leave this place, even after being told the policecare coming. Worlds Dumbest Employees!!!!
This is want people are wanting because we are short staffed
Why stay 7 years?
how dare you ask for a raise. the boss works hard to make sure you dont get any more money than what he feels you deserve and you have the nerve to ask him for more money? he was right to fire you. (satire post)
Should’ve got the hint after the second year I would’ve left
If I don't get a raise within 6 months, I'm already planning on my exit route unless I'm really desperate lol Staying at a job for 7 years and just expecting a raise is crazy.
How much is minimum wage in your state
8.75 one of the lowest in all states
That Parable in the Bible where the guy pays everyone the same. No matter when they start it. Yeah, I have a trouble dealing with that too... Praying for your stay strong. Move on, love yourself first. How can you expect others to if you don't?
The Bible is garbage
thats when you all quit at once.
more or less did, i got fired and others had a choice lol
Would have less bosses if we just started beeping the fuck out of em to remind them no human really has authority over you
I would have left along time ago.
In all honesty… how do you stay at a job making min wage for 7 years?????
Facts you choose to stay for 7 years, I'm sure the boss didn't make stay you made the choice
What do you expect when you ask for a raise 😄
Why would you stay at the same job for 7 years and no raise? After 1 year you should have been out
Still though, you guys refusing to leave property is a criminal offense. Also why stay at a minimum wage job for 7 years!???
just wanted piece of paper stating when i will get my last paycheck as per state laws and to give to unemployment when this happened
West Virginia 😂 never go there or you’ll never come home
this comment hits way too hard considering since moving ive only been back to my home country like 2 or 3 times in 12 years.......... ouch

Well…pull a nick Cruz bud lol
And thats the reason why theres unions. Not to protect the lazy...that happens in every job. Its to reward the honest worker.
better than no union

who lol cause im the one sitting down and my friend is the one recording no relation to the boss
It's weird that someone from Britain lives in Down South in West Virginia
not that weird since been here since 2012 atleast to me lol. moved for my dads health :D
He sounds Aussie
Not weird. There was a good number of them in Raleigh who moved there because of tech industry. I met some and they enjoy the sun down south because it’s always gray in the UK.
Why would you work somewhere for seven years for minimum wage?😂😂
Poor guy filming . Guys we going or staying lmao
Life is what u make it YALL CHOSE TO STAY that place look like it don't even make enough money to may y'all more than 9$ an hour just find a new job bro simple everybody always complaining about what they got LIFE IS LITTERALY WHAT U MAKE IT I ISE TO HATE MY LIFE
If you work for minimum wage for 7 whole years what makes you think you’ll finally get a raise hahaha tf
If your boss doesnt want to pay you more. Get another job. Simple. Acting entitled for it and then throwing a hissy fit because boss said no. Gain new skills so you're more valuable to more businesses out there and your demand pay will also increase.
If you’re making minimum wage for 7 years, that on you.
Cute you stuck together, but trespassing is trespassing. Get another job. This whiny bs needs to stop.
you want a raise yet dont shave the beard ?
What does a beard have to do with getting a raise? let me guess your against tattoo's and piercings too?
@@taruto1992 You want money dress too impress if you dont keep yourself looking professional and not well groomed dont expect big money if you do not care about being well groomed why should they care too pay you more ?
@@SSF-GIRL my skills and abilities in a work place do not defer my appearance.. yet it takes more energy and time to take care of a full beard, so how is maintaining a healthy beard unprofessional. that old saying dress to impress dont fly anymore, after this job i got a job making more than double this job, appearance isn't important if your a slacker in your job. whats important is the work you do not how you look while doing it
@@taruto1992 Alot of people slacked and used covid as a excuse too not shave because they wore mask being well groomed is showing respect not just for yourself but for others and it shows you respect the company by representing the company in a good way you cant expect a raise if you dont care too represent the company in a good light . as they say first impressions count so make that impression good .
@@SSF-GIRL ive always got the job when ive got an interview thanks to the first impressions i leave , like i said i groom and take well care of my beard, every interview ive had during growing my beard have only been compliments because it takes alot of patience and care. i accept you dont like long beards but its 2024 and im not working with food so.... ive been a security guard and a teacher/counselor just to name a couple jobs ive had with my long beard.
It’s his business and his establishment. He can fire you for any reason he sees fit and he is under no obligation to give you a raise. You also absolutely have no right to stay on his property if he doesn’t want you there. Need to stop watching movies and get in with the real world. Under capitalism, everything is private property and unless you own it, you can be removed at will by the owner/owners. If you feel like you’re being underpaid and don’t like working there, you are free to quit/leave any time. Employees and employers interests are not mutually exclusive under capitalism.
These guys are in the wrong
Bootlicker
The boss did nothing wrong . He actually stops himself and showed self discipline he was going to continue to argue turned around walked away thought about his words and actions then continued to out again and actually POLITELY asked them to leave for causing a scene and used the APPROPRIATE authority to deal with unruly entitled acting employees. I'm backing the boss for maturity. This should have been asked in private not in front of other employees to start a mutiny. The employees are toxic actually causing a mutiny and not seeing that actual WHOLE PICTURE. The big mouth just wants to look like a hero to the actual manipulative person too small to go into the bosses room and ask and ask why not. 1. Can the company actually AFFORD to give the employees a raise? Maybe there is unseen things going on and y'all should see the accountant before you get harsh. 2. He can always replace you if you like your job you don't pipe up like that guy did. Stay ASSERTIVE not AGGRESSIVE. 3. If he is running the place badly then work as a team and see maybe why he can't afford to give raises and nail the problem not the person. Leadership skills are acquired by the skills not the 7 years of being there . In other words a person can work 7 years and never seen how to GROW that company and thus it never grew and thus no money to give. Then the unseeing employees don't understand why they got no raises. Just because it's a big company doesn't mean it's barely making it. Crunch the numbers for him and see why he won't . maybe y'all are missing something and not seeing the whole picture that you THINK you are. Numbers don't lie ... Check the accountant first before thinking one is entitled to raises . And the big mouth wasn't the one that came up with the idea it is a person that complained to him he's the " hero" but he's manipulated by the complainer that is actually a coward. I know this b.s all too well
yeah thats why all employees got a raise 2 weeks after this and a pizza party, you may write a long essay for people to indulge but no matter how big the pit of trash its still trash. look you dont know the full detail yet instantly side with how the boss handled it. we started recording after he was the one that started shouting and getting aggressive by slamming his hands and demanding that is not how you lead. so yeah once we started recorded he thought more carefully of his actions, we tried a proper method of approach to discuss raises and such and that is how he responded as the owner. Maybe ask for a little more info next time before adding so much none important fictional details, now you know a little more also thanks for watching and commenting and if you want more info more than happy to provide :D
LMFAO you CLEARLY don't have a god damned clue what's going on here... "grow the company" my ass, the only reward hard work gets you at that shit hole is more work and zero recognition
IT'S FUCKING WALMART. they rake in so much fucking profit (aka stolen wages) it isn't even funny. THEY. CAN. AFFORD. A. FUCKING. RAISE.
@@antoinewilson4847Um...yeah...It's called "At Will Employment." They can fire you for whatever they want. You can get canned for cutting your hair, or wearing cologne. Or if they just want to get rid of you.
