At the beginning of the Sonic Frontiers The Final Horizon DLC, Sonic is talking about getting his friends back and Eggman replies "Ugh, please no tedious speeches about the super power of teamwork". The only time I ever heard Sonic talk about "super power of teamwork" was the cut-scene right before fighting Metal Overload in Sonic Heroes. That being said It seems SEGA has been hopefully hinting at this for a while... I sure hope its real and this is not just coincidence.

i hope sonic heroes remake is still happening i want to see my favorite sonic game on new console and i want to see it how beautiful it will be but if it don't happen i will be sad but i will be okay because at least we still have the original game and we could always play that
The chase scene from team sonic team dark like I was on Lost Jungle level. I got attack from the alligator and I lost all of my rings. Before getting into the action, you will select the game’s difficulty. Easy: falling only takes half a heart away, and you have infinite lives. Medium: falling into a hole costs you a full heart if you lose three lives and you restart at the checkpoint. Jumanji: once again, falling will cost a full heart; the enemies hit harder, and losing three lives restarts you at the checkpoint.
Still have faith it’ll happen if it is/was being considered. The timing of the release would line up perfectly with a Movie 4 given how we got Origins with Movie 2 & Sonic x Shadow with Movie 3. Don’t worry Heroes fans, we’ll manifest it together

I genuinely can't believe how off the rails this suddenly went. Yesterday, everything was at peace and I was happy with the info that Heroes is likely coming.(Since ya know, even if they end up not moving forward with the project afterall, it at least means they have the 2000s games on their rerelease-map finally). Then I went to sleep. Then I wake up a few hours later and the kitchen is on fire. People are screaming at Zippo, Midori appearently got harrassed and quit, people either say it's for sure not coming because no leaker is trustworthy(Which is...ok? Not like we have seen several things predicted semi-recently, even if not always 100% accurately) and others do schadenfreude-posts where they tell other peoples to stop expecting it to be a possibility...legit, what happened? I know the responce was already kinda mixed yesterday, but how did we go full doomgloom overnight? It was never strictly confirmed, but it is not more deconfirmed than it was, so why the waves?

Welp... No footage, no pictures, no nothing. Not even a description of how it's gonna be. Just words "it may or may not happen" We just need to patiently wait for Sega's and Sonic Team's move instead of jumping to conclusion. Who knows what will happen...

This is why I never take complete stock in leaks: no matter how credible the source, if it doesn't come from the officials then the margin of error is too high. On a brighter note, if they consider another game for the remake this could be how we get adventure 1 and 2 for the modern generation ✊

Hot take: a sonic heroes remake would be GREAAAT. As a kid the game frustrated me but I still loved it, and most of the complaints I see are mostly just from the rushed gameplay, weird level design, and bugs. A remake (with time unlike the short ass development period of the first) could fix those things and make the game really likable!

apparently, the engine originally used for sonic heroes is no longer available, so i'd say a remake is more probable, I could be wrong tho
@@_dsprite Heroes was made on the Renderware engine which is now defunct. SpongeBob battle for bikini bottom was made using this engine too. I’m just saying a remaster just going off the fact that colours ultimate uses a new engine? I’m pretty sure it does anyway
@@CrazyDRWenke03 while Renderware is not available for purchase anymore, it's been archived on the Internet Archive since 2018, so it's up to SEGA if they want to go through the task of porting the game into another engine or just remake the whole thing (also EA owns Criterion, the company behind the RenderWare engine, and they still honor licenses purchased before said acquisition).

@@johnshea7871 I forgot shadow but I played that on my wii once. I don't even mind it too much. If it just characterised shadow better qnd had better controls I would actually like a spin off edgy spinoff. Kinda like (this is weird) insomiac spiderman which ik it's weird comparison but that's a dark version of a (fairly) lighthearted series. Imagine shadow 2: chase the hunter and you have to find fang (shadow v fang would be good because they both had guns)
