Working 'auto' pop up lights, very well engineered...but... needs some tweaks!

  • That thing is a true ae86! Pop up headlights and underpowered. lol. I have a full size one and can tell you from experience they aren’t the fastest.

    • Lol, I got rid of an 8v GTI Golf (Mk2) back in the day to get an AE86… Man was I disappointed… Awesome looking car, great sound, fun doing circles but extremely gutless… didn’t stop me getting another one though 🤣

  • I feel like if you wanted to get someone completely unfamiliar with these types of transmitters and the proportional control into rc, this is a great cheap way to do so

  • From a former owner of an 1984 AE86, I have to get one. It was not fast, but it was so much fun to drive with the RWD. Looking at buying a new Toyota Corolla Hatchback now, because I think Toyota has hit the mark again for fun driving. Cars don't need to be fast to be fun to drive. :)

  • Maybe It can work just a good base and treat It like a roller knowing that if you get It you will get a good? Chassis and a really cool looking body, but you will need new electronics, at least a new motor, but perhaps I would go for the RX7 I imagine that one has also pop up head lamps 😍😍 any way cool vid as always mate take care 👍🤙

  • Pinecone Hobbies drift tires? I know those tires are 1/16th but drift cars get wide body kits or big fender flairs. There are those big 18th scale diecast cars that people collect. There are online sources to buy parts to modify those 18th bodies for the diecast collectors that like modifying them. I am partial to the RX-7s. Actually am interested in this little monster. Cool video.

  • HI PHIL IT'S SUCH ASHAME THAT MOST DECENT RC CARS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. I REALLY LIKE DECENT PRICED RC CARS. THAT ARE AFFORDABLE AND EASY TO GET SPARES ECT. DEFINITELY HELPS GETTING NEW PEOPLE IN TO THE HOBBY WITH OUT FRIGHTENING THEM OFF BE THEY EVEN START.
