Why do most of the Zaouli videos cover up the traditional music with trance? I'd like to hear the original native music that went with the dance. At least put in the title that it's not original music.
Yeah I found out that the music being played in the original music is that the musicians beats to the dancers moves it's so much better with the original music for sure ❗🤔
Yes, it’s unfortunate that the videos are not true or complete; the original instruments should be heard. The techno sounds, although enjoyable in of themselves, detract from the dances. I also read that the dancer leads the drummers which really ups the complexity of the dances. I am amazed at the speed, rhythm, and strength maintained until the end! Still, I say thank you for sharing this video (I turn down the sound to better appreciate the movements 🙂)
The trance music is cultural misappropriation. The only time I really danced was in a mosh pit with men.This was punk rock 40 years ago, you can’t dance to any rock and roll, most people couldn’t dance to save their soul from Satan!

Undoubtedly, an impressive dance. It seems impossible to do. Too bad they omitted the original audio. I would have liked to have been able to appreciate the traditional Zaouli music as well.
I can’t even begin to understand the sheer aerobic strength, energy, and stamina required to dance like this for any sustained period of time..😳 Their thighs must be quite literally *burning* during and after their dances..😮💨 Absolutely stunning and mesmerising from start to finish. The only disappointment here is that we don’t get to hear the original music played by the musicians behind them..😔
