The Bene Gesserit and Spacing Guild are not houses. The Landsraad has many great houses that are mostly unnamed, but include Atreides, Harkonnen, Fenring, and Corrino, and many others (the total is never mentioned, but there are thousands of planets in the Imperium, and at least 157 Great Houses). It can be assumed that the Landsraad is massive as it accounts for all humanity in the galaxy, and most Great Houses ruled over one planet or a planetary system, of which there are potentially hundreds of billions in our galaxy. It can be thought of as a huge galactic senate where great houses have representation. The Bene Gesserit and Spacing Guild are outside of the Landsraad houses and are more like organisations that hold great power in the known universe. The Bene Gesserit train women in their ways and religion and are considered very useful and powerful as wives or concubines as well as political advisors for leaders of great houses due to their cunning. The Spacing Guild is an organisation that controls all space travel as they are the only ones that can train and employ humans to enable interstellar travel. CHOAM is another organisation that is very important that is essentially one massive company that has a monopoly on all galactic commerce, and great houses hold shares in CHOAM. There are also Mentat and Suk Doctor schools which train people to be living computers and doctors respectively. These organisations are not part of the Landsraad but hold power nonetheless in other ways.
@@tb45gI think in these films, they're all houses Paul has to conquer. I actually can't believe the Spacing guild weren't in it.
@@Sk4Madhi_.RangeroftheNorth I don't think so... In the 2021 film Jessica says that the Bene Gesserit serve as partners the great houses, they are not one of the houses. This was pretty clear in both films imo I think they just got it wrong in this video.
@@Sk4Madhi_.RangeroftheNorth, I suppose the best way to describe "Dune: part 2" is to say it was like watching "Rob Roy" on steroids and set in a fantasy or science fiction world, but still not as good a movie as the original, but only turn Luke Skywalker (Rob Roy) into Anakin Skywalker (the Mahdi of Islam). 156) Rob Roy (1995) 164) Dune: part 2 (2024) Frank Herbert gave you anti-Christ without saying it straight forward. George Lucas gave you Luke Skywalker figuring you'd like him better than Anakin and made it even less related to this world. "Dune: part 2" is worth seeing. Denis Villeneuve stayed true to the book enough, in the sense characters can see it all happening as good or bad or good and bad and yet you as the viewer or reader can make up your own mind too. In other words, do you see this hero as worth it or not worth it. It's up to you. I was surprised Denis Villeneuve in "Dune: part 1" had the Fremen call Paul the Mahdi, as that was a dead give away that this whole thing is an Islamic end times vision. Frank Herbert did not come out and say it, but while I read "Dune" as a kid I knew the whole things smelled of T. E. Lawrence of Arabia joining the Muslims in World War One to be a leader figure of the desert only this was more Anti-Christ type vision of the future. I think in that sense it stays true to what Frank Herbert said, "I am showing you the superhero syndrome and your own participation in it." - Frank Herbert, speaking about "Dune." Now I see it from Zendaya's perspective; hence, I love the ending as completely open ended as to whether they achieve or don't achieve, but that many are for it as the dye is cast and some are disbelievers of it seeing the conflict is not over nor is any success guaranteed. In that sense it was brilliant, but it didn't crack my top 100 favorites movies list. "A Princess of Mars" by writer Edgar Rice Burroughs inspired many things along with the movie adaptation of the book called "John Carter" in 2012 by Disney, such as: Star Wars, Avatar, Indiana Jones, Superman, Dune, and writer Ray Douglas Bradbury with "The Martian Chronicles," which I read as a child. Here is where such things fall on my favorite movies list: 20) Star Wars: the Empire Strikes Back (1980) 21) Star Wars: a New Hope (1977) 41) Superman II (1980) 112) John Carter (2012) 121) Avatar (2009) 125) Man of Steel (2013) 148) Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1983) 164) Dune: part 2 (2024) 270) Dune: part 1 (2021) The main reason for me to watch Dune 2 is to see whether Zendaya Coleman surpasses female actresses I loved in the past, which I don't believe she has yet. And to see if the vision of the Mahdi in his ascension can be depicted well. Denis Villeneuve delivered. I suppose movie three will be can Islam rule well? I doubt it in reality, or for depiction in the next movie, and I doubt the 3rd movie would surpass the 2nd. Zendaya is in my top 13 favorite actors based on the list below. She is certainly doing well for her career and I'm happy for her in that sense. 10) Spiderman: No Way Home (2021) 96) The Greatest Showman (2017) 164) Dune: part 2 (2024) 191) Spiderman: Far from Home (2019) 198) Spiderman: Homecoming (2017) 270) Dune: part 1 (2021) “I loved you, so I drew these tides of men into my hands And wrote my will across the Sky and stars To earn you freedom, the seven Pillared worthy house, That your eyes might be Shining for me When we came Death seemed my servant on the Road, 'til we were near And saw you waiting: When you smiled and in sorrowful Envy he outran me And took you apart: Into his quietness Love, the way-weary, groped to your body, Our brief wage Ours for the moment Before Earth's soft hand explored your shape And the blind Worms grew fat upon Your substance Men prayed me that I set our work, The inviolate house, As a memory of you But for fit monument I shattered it, Unfinished: and now The little things creep out to patch Themselves hovels In the marred shadow Of your gift.” ― T. E. Lawrence, "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom"
@@ReligionOfSacrifice well my favourite films are Dune84 Dune21 Dunept2,2024. Then, Star Wars, everything but the new sequels. I love Dune (the book) as one whole story, messiah I'd accept too, but after that its too much for me and gets too weird!! God man worm emperor is not my thing. Ill stop at 61billion dead and the kids take over.
my main question is HOW IN THE WORLD DO THEY GET OFF OF THE WORM?!?!
According to the books, they tire the worm and when they remove the hooks, the worm will seek to dive in the sand to rest. They take the opportunity to dismount at this time. According to the book, the worms tire rapidly on the surface so it is mentioned that to travel significant distances, fremen need to capture more than 1 worm... they mount 1, it tires, dismount... repeat.
Yes that is exactly correct from the book. There is a migration to the South that Freman do every year called a 12 thumper journey (or something like that.) That's because they have to ride that many worms to get to wherever it is. The hooks on the ropes open one of the ring segments of the worm, which exposes the sensitive inner parts of the worm to sand, and that irritates the creature. A bunch of Freman holding open a bunch of those segments would tire a worm out quickly. If they release the hooks then the segments close up again and the worm dives beneath the sand, giving a relatively easy dismount for the Freman. But that seems like a crappy way to treat Shai Hullud. @@javsousa
@@javsousa ^this. And I'll add that the Fremen measure distance in "Thumpers" as in how many worms they need to summon to get to their destination.
I'm more interested in how they got Jessica's palaquin on board a moving worm.
@@snsnplpli assume its kinda like a tent that can be folded up and carried.
Saw Dune 2 yesterday and was incredibly awe-struck by the cinematography alone, the score is also amazing.
Same.
How did you feel about the plot being cut up for the screen?
“She’s a fetus we don’t meet us” 🤣🤣
Even better on a second watch. The scene when Paul walks into the southern Fremin base with the crowd separating for him to enter. Wow The music, the acting, the cinematography, its perfection. What a movie
You got the houses wrong! Houses are dynasties that own stock in CHOAM. Bene Gesserit and Spacing guilds are not houses.
Yes that's correct. Bene Gesserit and Spacing Guild are not houses at all. There are like ten or something great/major houses (Atreides, Corrino and Harkonnen are major houses) and a bunch of minor houses. There is a very complicated formula for how houses influence the Landsraad and a video about that, which will test your attention span on KZhead, that somebody put together who read all the books (poor SOB.)
Do the Bene Gesserit go around spreading "prophecy" stories to other houses to manipulate them aswell?
@@Gos1234567to the other houses? I don’t believe so, to the inhabitants of their planets? Absolutely
And it’s not the guild navigators that fold space. It’s the Holtzman Drive. The navigators with their prescience allow that travel safely since they can see the possible paths and take the safe ones.
Legit look forward to these vids more than the movies themselves. It’s like walking out of the theatre and just talking. Brilliant stuff. Keep it up. Cheers to you accomplishing so much on this channel.
ey thank you man
The deez nuts In the beginning was top tier
Jessica uses the voice telling him to wake up. She was controlling the entire situation
I liked the fact that the worms stay above ground when the fremen ride them...smart little detail to show that when hooked on, they pull the worms scales, exposing its oxygen tubes. Im guessing the worm won't go back underground because it doesn't want to get sand stuck in its airways. I wish they did put one scene in with them all land on and getting off.
I love "Theory Time" hahahaha I also think Jessica just uses Chani as part of her propaganda (bc she somehow knows her name is Sihaya and that has a role in their seeded prophesy). I think its a cool change that emphasizes how both paul and chani are being used by the bene gesserit
I mean what would you do to protect your son\child? I start a holy war if I had to lol
@mikeworkman3593 right. So many nuances and gray areas, I love it. Great storytelling.
Its incredible Austin Butler can transform into a Skarsgard
Yes, the Spacing Guild navigators ingest insane amounts of spice but they can't physically fold space (as inferred in the '84 film). The Holtzman engines are the special, space-folding engines which do that. The navigators through the use of spice gain prescience that enables them to safely guide the craft through space to their destination. Previous to this style of navigation (remember, no computers in this universe), a percentage of space craft and cargo end up lost. So this is why spice is the most important (and expensive) thing in the universe.
Channi wears a blue cloth on her sleeve later in the film. I assumed that was "I'm pregnant with a boy" Fremen kind of thing.
Young Alia and Leto boy being left out might be better for the movies. Their roles are important to be limited within the few minutes at the end of part 2. Bring them into part 3, they will have more screen time as well as their impacts will be portrayed more efficiently.
That makes no sense, because infant Leto was killed by sardaukar not long before battle of Arrakeen. And Alia was already a four years old girl. So bring "this" Leto to next movie makes not much of a sense. And Alia would be too young to have an affair in the dune messiah. She had sex in her fourteen or fifteen. But this time she will be only ten years old. That also makes no sense. By missing some stuff Vilneuve now must change the story further to compensate that. And i have no idea how they will introduce Alia s husband. Because being married in fifteen to a grown mature warrior is NO NO. And LGBT crap is YES YES. So much confusion. Really. Hard times we living.
@@ivanpopov2788 I know, but I'm guessing that they might totally skip the ill-fated Leto boy, or at least combine both boys into one figure, who later becomes God King Leto
just Theory time
Leto II the Elder should not have been cut (especially if they were still going to have Chani wearing the blue wrap which signifies the loss of a male child). The condensing of the timeline makes no sense. The Fremen were hard to gain the loyalty of, not something that was done in just a couple of months.
@@ivanpopov2788since he has two sons named “Leto II “ he might just scrap the first one and go straight to the twins.
Another banger! It is a damn good question, how do they get on and off the worms... Like the rider makes sense, but like all the supplies and people... It legit took me out of the movie for a minute wondering.
I think the prophecy is both true and a lie . The thing is, the bene gesserit saw all the future signs the prophecy would contain so if they came true, it was as it was supposed to be. It May have been a constructed idea, but it also was destined to come true.
yes because they were actively working to make it come true totally agree.
It was not “Destined” to come true. The Bene Gesserit worked for centuries to create the environment for something to happen and set up contingency plans the entire time (Having Margot Fenring get pregnant from Feyd Rautha). It was not destiny. Paul isn’t a savior or messiah. He is a selectively bread, intentionally trained pawn, that was intentionally put in a meticulously crafted environment to succeed. He is the ultimate Nepo Baby.
Also the bene gesserit in there arrogance could off assumed that they created the prophecy and believed that they where in control of it but in reality they where slaves to it

Always amazing content. Thank you 🙌
Your reviews are genuinely the funniest 😂😂😂😂
The Baron is only cursed to be fat in Brians books not Franks original 6
Dune does explain how they get on the worms and it was portrayed well in the 1984 Dune movie, the Fremen use a tool that they wedge between a worms scales and open a gap. With the tender flesh exposed the worm rolls to bring the open scale to the top to protect it from the sand. The fremen who opens the scale holds on to the tool and rides to the top with the open scale. From there he drops lines down for the other fremen to use to climb up. As for steering the worm there are pores on a worms side used for respiration, the driving hooks are placed into these pores and as the driver pulls on a side the worm moves to that side to avoid the pain of the hook.
He said off the worms
@@ashleyveevers2007Did you read the books? The fremen would ride the worms until they were exhausted and idle on the surface. It's safe to assume the same ropes they used to get on the worms is are the ones they used to get off of them.
I think you are taking something from the 84 film with the respiration pores. In the book after the initial hook is used to get the worm to rotate so the hook goes to the top, keeping sand out of the sensitive flesh between segments, they will adjust the hooks to roll the work to its normal upright side. Worms develop a natural top and bottom as can be told from wearing of the rings around the circumference. Once upright and moving straight hooks will be used to expose segments lower on the left or right to force a slight roll and corresponding turn. The book also mentions beaters near the tail who will cause the worm to increase speed.
Thanks for bringing these unanswered Dune part 2 questions to our attention
Notification Crew 👍🏽 71 Paul pumping out those Dune videos! Let's Go
Dude this is why you’re the best thank you Muadib
Riding the worm is like riding a tiger. You have to hold on until it's exhausted. This is explicit in the novels. Keeping ring sections open forces the worm to stay topside. You ride it until it tires out. Then you jump down and leg it. The worm, tired and offended, lays on the surface a while, then burrows under the sand to sulk. The houses are other royal family. The Bene Tleilax, Bene Gesserit, and the spacing guild are factions, not houses. I don't remember if any houses but Corino, Attreides and Harkonen are mentioned in the main novels. The film does away with most of the spacing guild plots. Paul's threat to destroy the spice brought the first novel to an end because, without spice, space travel is impossible. Here it isn't as clear why that would be a big deal. Accordingly, Paul has to beat the other houses into submission.
Thank you Paul.
Paul's voice is so comforting. As soon as I heard it, my day got better.
Alia definitely did not walk a line of morality. She was essentially driven mad by her abilities so a victim definitely, evil, essentially
I always saw her as a tragic character. Jessica like just leaves her. Then Paul dumped all responsibility onto her. Like I’ll probably get attacked but I hate Paul. Book Paul I just hated. Hated book Chani. Like hated so many characters. There are only a few I actually liked because they show growth like Irulan and stilgar. But I felt so so bad for her. She had no chance. Even when Leto II tried to give her one she just couldn’t at that point.
@@drogon2339 I always think back to that awful scene in children where her servants think she’s napping, but in actuality, she’s like sitting in a dark room with her head in her hands, begging and crying for the voices to basically shut up. Like I can’t see her as anything other than tragic. I can totally understand her and empathize with her. Like I can’t see her evil like because she was never given a choice. Jessica literally just left her like she was trash and Paul as well. Everyone failed her.
@@crinklescat1871 the movie shows her willingly orchestrating a genocide
@@TheMarkmcr ah yeah, good point. She was hardcore into the jihad. This series was hard to get through, by god emperor I was just straight up exhausted. And I’ve only done a few rereads. But you’re absolutely correct. I still do feel bad for her though during the regency. But soooooo much to absorb. And so many plot lines, and characters to keep track of. Sometimes stuff falls through the cracks, although that’s a pretty big one lol. I don’t feel she had a chance with the possession though, and in the first book, the Freeman even marked her as different(although they loved and worshipped her) . It was honestly sad, just like with the twins, except the twins had each other. She was alone, and knew how very different she was. I was listening to the audiobook earlier after Jessica drinks the water of life and they go “we didn’t know you were pregnant! what have we done!” and basically saying at least it was a girl if the fetus were a male he’d be dead. Almost would’ve been kinder to her at that point if she had been dead with what she went through at the end though.
@@crinklescat1871 I don't know every detail of her storyline in the novels, but didn't she enjoy being high priestess and consolidate all the political power for herself? The originals season four and the follow up show Legacies handle a fantasy version of her character in two different forms (played by two of the actress's old co stars). One is more in line with the film interpretation, while the other is troubled but takes great care to prevent her worst impulses from winning
Alia got robbed.
“Muadeez nutz” is F’n Brilliant and I’m totally stealing it. Thought you should know. Bravo!👏👏🤘

what's the scene in the Thumbnail called?
Great video! Appreciate the warnings before messiah spoilers.. almost done w the first book, haven’t read that yet!
Do not stop doing what you love, you are very good at ti!
Pretty sure sandworm skin is comprised of tough scales, protecting delicate worm flesh underneath, which is sensitive to irritation from sand. Fremen riders grapple hook onto and lift up opposing scales, which causes the worm to roll the exposed flesh up and as far away from the irritating sand as possible. The worm doesn’t burrow nor roll whilst the scales are pulled back. Steer by team-coordinated continuous lifting of additional scales on the side opposite direction of travel, causing a roll and turn away from irritation, and to dismount, release the scales and jump off as the worm makes its burrow to depth.
I didn't find her to be malevolent at all. She was basically greeting her brother for the first time and said she loved him.
Your my host Paul! Yes, you are!! THANKS!!!
1:35 FURIOSA !
I remember reading the book, i was so excited to get to the final war and it was over in a page.
My BEST guess on how they get off the sand worms is the same how they get on but they probably make the worm inhale something so it slows down, maybe their own piss, and instead of slamming into another sand hill, it just slowly goes through and the people get off like you would with a strainer when you pour the spaghetti and its water through it. The water being the worm passes through, and the people being spaghetti stays.
They jump onto the worms from above as for how they get down they either have rope ladders or some sort of pulley system they carry with them or since the worms scales are so large they might be able to scale them like rock climbers scale mountains or even buildings.
You gotta drop people off the worms going backwards with a lot of slack and some form of offramp that gains slack so you can counteract the speed of going forward. Like an extending slide off the back of a moving vehicle
LOVE YOUR DUNE VIDEOS !!!!!!!!! THE UNIVERSE IS SO RICH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR INSTANCE HOW DID CORINO'S END UP BEING EMPERORS????
They explain it really quickly in the second dune book basically you use a thumper and worm hooks first you use the thumper to call the worm watch the sand for worm sign and when the worm emerges from the sand attach the hook to lift up one of the plates on the worm so that the worm turns its body to get the lifted plate out of the sand you can make it turn by lifting up new plates and puting down old ones because the worms instinct is to run from the pain of the hooks and keep the sand from getting inbetween its plates so you start out at the side of the worm and it rolls so your on top in you want off just jump or let the plates close and the worm will dive back into the sand
Yes
3:28 delete scene on the DVD.
Yooo invincible official account posted you bro
No mention of the Weirding Way save Stilgar’s reference in Part 1? That technology was House Atreides’ power play… “Even his name (Muad’Dib) has become a killing word”
Obviously, the Fremen have sand launchers that hurl them into the air timed with the passing of a controlled Gai Hulud. Or they could just use floating barges. Other fast flying machines would probably make sand worms redundant for travel.
😂😂😂 I was wondering how they got her on the worm’s back! Also how they got her off.😂lol
I also wonder how everyone get aboard a worm but also when they get off how do they stop the worm? Like I feel the worms are not tame in the slightest and it feels more that they only are able to generally steer the worm but in the end the worm goes where it wants anyway. It's not the control like you control a horse but idk. I could see they get off the worm the same as they go on. My understanding is they get or jump on the worm when it comes underneath and when they go off they steer the worm so it dives more into the sand and they just jump off it that makes sense.
Paul Gascoigne ... why? A vision I never want to see again ....... Great video btw Thx 🤪
For me personally the most curious part about the movie was the question of HOW they'll show Alia (the most interesting character for me in the whole first three books) and oh, boy, they nailed it. That's really close to the character I imagined from reading the books 🤯
yes in the sense that the Bene Gesserit were actively trying to create the Kwisatz-Haderach and thought they wouldn’t be able to control Paul so they wiped out the Atreides or tried to.
If they thought he couldn't be controlled (as stated in part 2), why did the Reverend Mother ask that the Harkonnens spare him in part 1?

They show in the film that there is hover technology when we reunite with Gurney. The Sardaukar use it too in both films. There’s your answer to dismounting the worms.
Paul dontchu ever sing that theory time song again.
Leto II being left out is in the books and it’s import part of Children of Dune.
In one of the books it explains the first of the worm riders spent days on the back of a worm, he couldn't find a way off... so he literally walked off the back of it.
I don't think she's a malevolent force. She's just correct. Paul wasn't ready.
Pretty sure Navigators don't have anything to do with the space-folding. That's handled by a piece of tech (can't recall the name). Navigators do just that, plot courses across the cosmos using the prescient vision granted by the spice. Basically, since they can see multiple potential futures, they can find the one that leads the starship to it's destination safely, avoiding the ones that jump it into ghe middle of a star or a black hole.

That’s a good wrap😂
i really hope she gets a huge part in part 3, shes gorgeous
Oh, they absolutely have to have Chani come back, or they eliminate any possibility for there to be more Dune movies. Without Leto II (v2.0) and Ghanima, there is no future, no Golden Path continuation. They also have to have adult Alia. I think they will probably choose a time jump and change the Dune story's timeline a bit, simply to bring Alia to teenage years so that they can have an adult actress play a plausible teen Alia. After that I think they would probably have to skip past many many years to where the preacher meets Leto II in the desert. After that, and until its time for Leto II to die, theres really nothing worthy of a movie. The next happening worthy of a movie series would be the death of the tyrant, and the scattering
A prophecy doesnt mean squat untill the person who the prophecy is about decides to become that.
Love the movie. The build up of the story was superb. Like the look of the worm compare to 1984 version.
Man, what an intro.
The Bene Gesserit and The Spacing Guild aren't great houses. They are factions of the power structure in the Dune Universe. The Lansrasd is the faction that comprises the great houses. Atredies, Harlkonnen, Corrino and many more unnamed Houses. The throne of the Emperor is another faction in itself, even if its inhabited by one of the great houses. The other main faction is the C.H.O.A.M company.
I know it's sci-fi, but I assume Alia can tap into the genetic memory of Lady Jessica as well obviously. But.... other than the other memories who would try to take over Alia, how does it work if Jessica would attempt that WHILE Jessica is still alive? Will there be two Jessicas? Like one from the genetic memory within Alia's genes and the physical and alive Jessica?
How do the Fremen make all their equipment? They had some advanced tech. Where is the means of production?!
My worry that since the director does not want to do Children of Dune, he will not feel the need for Chani to have the twins.
It seems like Chani isn’t going to want to be with Paul, which is a big difference, so either she’s pregnant with the twins now or won’t be, but why would she name her son after Paul’s father too if she’s not even speaking to to Paul.
The Spacing Guild don't actually bend space, they use the prescience from spice ingestion to predict the correct path for FTL travel. This is necessary because computers that are smart enough to determine the coordinates have been banned since the Butlerian Jihad.
imagine timothee chalamet saying "muadeeez nuts" to zendaya in the end

My big question is this: In part 1, the reverend mother explicitly requests that Paul and Jessica are spared by the Harkonnens. In part 2 she confesses that she engineered the destruction of House Atreides because they were becoming uncontrollable. How does this make sense?
Who rules house Harkonnen now that the baron and both nephews got croaked
If the Director doesn’t know how they got on the worms, then he hasn’t read the book they lift up the shingle off of the worm. The worm turns it up so dirt doesn’t go underneath any turns so it’s up so you’re standing up and then when you want it down you Lift it up again I guess and go the other way and I think part of the golden path maybe has psychic some thing with the worm, hey Grandpaw or can u rol up for me.
Anti gravity suits
Lisan al gaib!!!
Riding the worms is actually kinda explained...the grapple lifts the skin which causes the worm to rotate that section out of the sand and pull the rider to the top...how everyone else gets on? Dunno....
Don't know if I like this second half ...still thinking.. Love the vision.. and the cinematic view. I watch with the eyes of nostalgia.. For the 80's version. This character, is more human, and less God-like. The whole us their faith to garner their loyalty bothered me. The should I shouldn't I..Paul really bothered me. The 80's Paul was let's rock, I'm here we are doing this. And his powers were better defined. (Super powers..) This Paul just had "wet" dreams. Possible out comes. The books say he latter learns to fold space. This one is like.. can I ride a worm... oh I don't know if I'm the one. And Zediah's character. To rebellious, to off on her own. (PAUL who needs Paul.) This is what I wrestle with.
I really want to know how they got a bunch of people on the worms at the same time and how they all get off?!
Someone please explain how the Baron could force himself on an extremely powerful woman who can influence the will of anyone by her commands? Also, is it ever explained in the books why the bene gesserit didn't get control of everything sooner? In the movies we've seen them giving a variety of commands. Why not just go to all the major houses, command their leaders to instate whichever bene gesserit as the new leader?
The Baron did it when she was a young BG.
Ok fair. What about my latter question? I enjoyed this movie a ton but couldn't help but notice a lot of plot armor, as well as what seems like a plot hole with the gesserit's insane powers@@UpcycleShoesKai
@@UpcycleShoesKaiThe son of Frank came up with that bs. Just ignore it. That stuff is simply fan fiction.
This movie was a trip. It started off good for me. I got bored midway and then it ended with a bang. All I know is that the lesser of two evils does not exist in their world and Chani got screwed 😂
SPOILER Alia killing the Baron is very important. There are 4 main points to start the next book : Paul is the new boss and the Kwisatz Haderach. That's OK. Paul is still with Chani : that is not OK. And Alia killed the Baron : for who read Children of Dune, no need to explain why.
Paul Atriedes = Dr Strange with the time stone
I think Jessica being Gaius daugther is a fan theory and never got really explained in the books (at least from what I remenber, read until God Emperor)
How can it be a coincidence that it was written the desert spring would bring Paul nack to life? Chani's name literally means desert spring. That's not a coincidence.
Thats Paul's unborn sister. She WAS born in the book and original film tho.
If someone asks themselves this after watching both parts, they weren't paying attention
May thy knife, chip and shatter
Generations of American moviegoers are accustomed to epic movies with unambiguous heroes. Clearly good guys vs clearly bad guys. Tropes. To those of us who have read the books, we know Paul is no hero. Even in 10191AG, the slaughter of an estimated 61,000,000,000 is horrifying. Herbert gave us all a masterclass in world building. It’s not a world I would want to live in but, like a KZhead video of a multicar pileup on the interstate, you just can’t stop watching.
Dismounting a worm is easier when it's tired.
Use the voice, Paul. Use the voice. 😂
I was wondering who Jessica’s mom was, but I was also curious who the princess mom was.
Prolly another Bene Gesserit pulling a Lady Margot Fenring qnd considering that they themselves are members
