While driving through this neighborhood I seen an overgrown corner lot. I stopped and knocked on the door but nobody answered. While I was walking back to my truck the neighbor stopped and talked to us. She asked if we could edge her yard and then told me of another house next to her where the lady's husband died 3 week prior. Instead of mowing the random corner lot we ended up mowing the 2 neighbors.

Well Brian, you and Justin stumbled upon three in need: the semi-abandoned property on the left, a neighbor needing some assistance (truth is: she needed more help than she was willing to admit) in the middle, and the recent widowed neighbor to her right. All three ladies needing lawn service assistance. As always you two did an excellent job! 💪🏽🍃🌿🌱💪🏽

One of my favorite things about this channel, besides the community service, is hearing the mower and trimmer running. Why in heck do I find that so calming? I miss being ale to do yard work. I would be out there from " can see to can't see" as my husband called it. I especially loved using my Mantis tiller and came close to tilling my entire county. Nothing better than barefoot in the fresh tilled dirt. LOL

I hope that was the Cat's Neighbourhood ! Sometimes they get in Trailers and you don't even know it and then you open up the door and out they run when the Coast is Clear.

That's back breaking work with the shovel. every time i watch you, i say that's not as easy as you make it look. I always wonder if these seniors or disabled home owners have any family near by that could help with the lawn care. My mom was still mowing her own grass until she passed away at age 84. She loved her zero turn rider! Us kids did the edging and weed trimming, tree trimming, and lawn clean up. 3-4 times a year us kids and her grandkids got together to do the work she couldn't do and the work we didn't want her to do. She rewarded us with her homemade veggie soup and rhubarb pie for lunch. You are awesome for volunteering your time and energy taking care of those who need it!

It seems our elderly needing assistance with their yard maintenance is more common than not. Perhaps it would be wise if families had discussions about what to do, then reached out to local small business landscapers such as Brian and Justin. Alot of people are struggling at the moment with the world in recession, so gardens are way down the list of priorities. Then along comes our Knight in shining armour to help ease the situation.
