  • Yup that hit in the feels. I'm currently forcing myself to walk away from a man who's potential has my whole heart, but his actions have done nothing but break my heart

    • Been there. I see it as a "choose your own anxiety" thing - you stay and experience the constant anxiety they give you with their actions, or you walk away, spend some time being sad/anxious, but ultimately see the positives of choosing not to engage with this person anymore. Best to you.

    • You’re in love with the fake him. The real you is revealed in your actions not your “potential”. Idk why straight women don’t understand this. Is it society conditioning you to ignore red flags?

  • That was so profound! I was in that type of relationship but I made the decision to leave because I chose the reality and how I wanted to be treated versus waiting on what he can be. I love the peace of mind of doing the right thing for me.

  • The way it was explained to me, by a doctor I have so much respect for is, I was in a relationship with a man who has complex (adult) human emotions and no tools to navigate through the tough situations that life presents to us. If you refuse the growth, you won’t grow. So, Megan and Drew, I see you 😌💜🦋💜😌

  • Man or Woman for sure. It’s from her perspective so of course she’s writing from her point of view. It’s almost as if this whole show isn’t about both men and women and the growth of both genders, rather pushing this entitlement mentality towards women by not once including men in the equation. Not once was their mention of the fact that the dynamic of falling in love with someone’s potential also is applicable to the other partner. The whole ambient created is the problem with majority with relationships in the 21st century, men and women and not both included in trauma affecting one’s ability to love the other partner. “Only” women can be affected by the man’s inability to grow into what he needs to be for the relationship to succeed. Love the information presented, it resonates with and LOT of men and women in todays age, bravo.

  • Drew, open for business without expectation, is it probable that you can at least work on giving someone your time just for fun for now? This could help you to at least take a step towards healing your heart. It took me practically ten years, but it can be wonderful if you go for it one step at a time. You already understand that love, like life, is none linear. One step at a time.
