  • Dear Tomislav, You are an exceptionnal woodturning instructor. This last one is incredibly useful not only to learn but also to improve my use of thé scrapers. You are the first reference I give to people who ask me questions on turning. I would be quite happy to win your refiner, ready to use, and happy also to promote it around me. I would be interested in buying one depending on the price to have it in Canada where Crown seems to be limited to Lee Valley. A last word, Crown could not have chosen a better promoter than you for their products. Thanks for all the attention you put to details in your videos. Alain

  • Congratulations on this new opportunity!!! Like so many others have said, your teaching through these videos is a priceless legacy of true craftsmanship. I see both you and Richard as giants with a true passion for sharing your mastery of the wood turning craft. If lightning strikes and you draw this post, I would treasure a scraper that you have finessed to your liking. Regardless, I'll be sending an email in the morning to get in line for your first tool run! Thanks for all you do!

For me, my preference would be to receive the tool as is so I can learn to polish, sharpen and raise the bur. You have become one of my favorite channels to watch and learn from, so please keep up the great work. Thank you.

  • After struggling to properly sharpen my first set of bowl gouges i turned to KZhead for some guidance and thankfully happend upon your videos. You have been my instructor and mentor ever since, my go to for how to. I am basically still a beginner but have improved my skills X10 since tuning into your videos. BTW it would be great to actually see firsthand a tools edge sharpened by an actual turning expert. Thanks for everything.

  • Hello Tomislav, First of all, for me you are no longer a little guy from Croatia. Rather, you are to me what Richard is to you. Many KZheadrs just show what they can do. You show us step by step how to do it. That's a big difference. I started woodturning exactly one year ago. I learnt exclusively from KZheadrs. I certainly learnt 90 per cent from you. Of course I'm going to buy one of your scrapers. Not only because I owe it to you, but also because the steel quality is better than the one I made myself. But I would prefer it as it comes out of the box. After all, I made my first scraper myself exactly according to your instructions. I would like to do the finish myself. Unfortunately, the tailstock on my DML 320 has just broken, so I can only turn very small parts at the moment. I sincerely wish you every success with your own tool line and thank you again for the invaluable knowledge that you are making available to us here. Greetings Andreas By the way, I'll be back in Croatia at the end of June and am already looking forward to the beer that bears your name 🍻.

  • Hello Tomislav. I love your videos and I'm learning a lot about turning. I would be interested in the refined scraper. Many thanks for everything. Greetings.

  • This looks like what I needed. Both the scraper and your burr instructions. If I win, I would like one that you have prepared , including the corner detail for the bead. And thanks for all your teachings.

  • Thanks for all the hard work, Tomislav! I've learned so much and still do. Always eagerly waiting for new videos. I'd gladly finish a raw scraper and put it to good use, but if not I'll just buy one once they are available :)

  • Congratulations on getting your own line of tools! I love your videos, and have learned a ton by watching you! If I am the lucky winner I would like a finished scraper set up and ready to go. I would be interested in purchasing one if I am not the winner as well. Anxiously looking forward to your website launch! Next you need Crown to make your skew/gouge tool, I forget what you call it. I've been trying to make one but I don't have very good skills on the grinder like you do. Thank you again for all of your teaching!

  • Watching you use the refined scraper as you described that would be the one or me. I have just used your instruction to "refined " an old scraper that never really gave clean cut and now I can't believe the difference, it now cuts better than ever did "straight from the box". Thanks for the video.
