  • You missed the significance of the little girl. She's important to the story because, remember, she was there at the end talking to the Oracle after the Architect. I've read somewhere that she was the result of the machine's discovering love and she was given power to create the next Matrix. Notice that the little girl runs up to the Oracle at the end and points at the beautiful sun rise. The Oracle asks "Did you do that?" and the little girl nods her head and says "For Neo". She created the sun rise with love for Neo.

    • Wow, that's a great point.

      @waltervonspecht1794@waltervonspecht17944 жыл бұрын
    • Yup. Satti, the little girl, was the offspring of 2 obsolete programs that were escaping deletion. This was explained in the train scene, when Neo is stuck at the station. The Oracle was a program created to inject the human element of choice and free-will into the matrix, making it more acceptable to humans. She foresees the future as being able to make complex calculations, but present them in a very welcoming, and human way. Thus, the Oracle is the most human of the programs - something the Architect cannot understand. As the programs were learning from humans, love was introduced as Satti. Love and Choice were the driving forces of the 7th iteration of the Matrix, resulting in Peace between mankind and the Matrix mainframe. Both the Architect, and the Oracle realize this Peace may be temporary, hence... MATRIX 4!!!!

  • That was really interesting, but I still think that multilayer Matrix theory is closer to the truth. So like as it is known, 1st version of the matrix failed because basically it was all flowers and happiness, no suffering whatsoever. Human brain quickly realized that world is not real and so matrix failed. Then, the Architect created 2nd version - the nightmare version, where people had to go into hiding, they had to fight monsters for survival... but this time also human brain realized all of it was not real, and matrix failed again. So the Oracle was created to figure out what is causing the issue. And it turned out people need choice, or at least an illusion of a choice. And so there were created 2 layers of matrix - one is a replica of the world we know, the other was a nighmareish version which was kinda closer to the reality itself, where people struggle in war against the machines. Firstly people were loaded into the first layer (the world we know), and after some time subconsciously were given a choice to accept or deny that world as real. As we know from the movies 99% of responders accepted it as real when given the choice. Remaining 1% were allowed to be transfered into the nightmareish layer, where they fight for survival. And to make 1st layer feel more real, they granted all the programs in it a choice. The Merovingian was created to find all and any exile programs, and send them to... recycle bin... somewhere where they would be deleted. But having the ability to choose, he decided to keep some programs at his own disposal. But despite all the effort, still that wasn't enough as after quite some time people were still realizing that all of it was not real. It caused matrix to malfunction and fail once more. Machines couldn't figure out what exactly is causing disbelief and simply called it anomaly. In order to prevent future malfunctions and failures caused by anomalies, which as the calculated would repeat periodically, Architect and Oracle created prophecy and gathered around it all those denying first layer. So what happens in the trilogy is basically a round of game of chess between Architect and Oracle. They are both designed to keep the matrix in working condition, but their approaches are different. The Architect want to keep cycling - finding the anomaly and making him to do the ultimate sacrifice and reset the program. Oracle want to create some kind of peaceful existence in both layers - something like the first version was. So when Smith dies in the first movie, she messes his mind up, gives him new purpose. That is why in the end after Smith infects Neo and gets deleted we see that the body of Smith who infected turns back into Oracle's body. And thats what the Architect means by saying her she is playing a dangerous game and its just a matter of time how long that peace will preserve. If you read all this up to this point, I would like to thank you, and I hope this makes sense to you.

    • Interesting. So are you saying that the "Zion" world and "1999" world are both parts of the same Matrix instance, so the real world is still completely outside of these two parallel Matrix worlds? If so, I like this theory. It resolves how Neo was able to see and control programs outside of 1999.

Neo in the movies was the only neo to break the cycle, which the Oracle didnt know her plan would work but because of this, after everything he has done, he created peace. Peace wont last forever but It will be a very long time before peace ends.

  • The 6th version of the matrix is different from previous version because of Neo's love interest, Trinity, which was the Oracle's idea/manipulation to see where this will lead in the 6th version. You can see the architect confronting the Oracle in the final scene about this choice. The One did not fall in love in all previous versions therefore he obviously chose to save Zion. I believe the message Matrix wants to tell us is that love is powerful and love can save the world.

  • The matrix hit a generation that felt absolutely trapped in a modern society that felt like a dream. It hit on the desire to wake up. That idea that no no... This isn't real... There has to be a way out. That's the root of it. The idea that this place where all this suffering is can't be real and that we can escape it. N it plays heavily on the religions of Christianity and Judaism.

    • Except it was explained in the first matrix trilogy that robots had created a completely perfect human experience, free from suffering and this was the primary reason that humans kept waking up and creating problems for the robots. It was humans’ dissatisfaction with the mundanity of perfection that cause robots to instead create a false world with false dramas and struggle to preoccupy humanity’s collective mind and keep them distracted from what was really going on. Neo wasn’t suffering. He was just bored and apathetic about his inconsequential lot in life. At its root, the Matrix story was one about desiring and living out a greater purpose than the one handed to you. Choice. • I feel like I need to cover the Prime Program. The anomaly is the Prime Program being imprinted onto a human, who becomes "The One". The purpose of The One is to return the Prime Program to the source in order to reload the Matrix. The Prime Program grants The One unique powers, and there is a gradual process by which The One discovers these powers. "Though the process has altered your conscience, you remain irrevocably human..." After understanding the power of the Prime Program Neo "kills" Smith, which imprints part of the Prime Program onto Agent Smith. This part of the Prime Program is what gives Smith his powers in the 2nd/3rd movies. If Neo had the entire Prime Program when he was jacked into the source at the Machine City, the Matrix would have reloaded immediately, but because Smith has part of the Prime Program, Neo must bring the entire code together by being "assimilated" by Smith.

You are the eventualityof an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. " Your (human) life is the remainder of a (machine) equation. If you want to get technical Neo is the remainder of the prime code. The ghost in the machine imprinted on a human making that human hybrid. Human body, machine mind. Just like Bane, in fact, Smith taking over Bane exists to show the audience that balance.

  • You requested what you missed, however this is a pretty good job. Overall I'd say it gets an A. The Merovingian "beta" os analogy was pretty good. However, they never define his or Seraphs 'old' roles. The thing you may have missed is when Persephone tells us he was once, "like Neo". I believe all this is to set the fallen angel stage for the Merovingian to represent the devil in Club Hell. We know that Seraph is a "protector" (Angel) and that the Merovingian is a trafficker of information in the Trilogy times. The trainman is the ruler of the purgatory space. This plays a part in the answer to your trainman Mobile ave riddle. You absolutely got the 'limbo' part right. If you understand that the Merovingian represents the devil, then it is no big jump to assume that the Merv was responsible in crashing the first version of the Matrix, as that 1st version represents the paradise or 'Garden of Eden' version of the Matrix. How did the devil crash Eden, trafficking information against the rules via the apple of knowledge. The Merv then starts to collect other exiles during the dark version of the Matrix. This would likely be the stage where "limbo" is created for the purpose that we agree on. I like the USB drive analogy but the problem with it, is that you then ask how did Neo get on the drive? Because of this, I viewed mobile ave as a black market radio signal or digital broadcasting 'limbo' in between the radio or wireless waves & the Matrix broadcasting network. Do not forget that when they "jack in", the ship that the red pills are on still has to broadcast/hack the Matrix wireless network. All the pieces are there. The ships don't hardwire into the Matrix, they have to reach 'broadcast depth' as Morpheus called it. Neo Jack's himself into the Matrix Mobile ave station without the use of a telephone or being 'jacked in'. Its Technopathy. The difference between Xmens Apocalypse villain and Neo is that after Neo meets the Architect (who tells us Neo is hybrid), then his skills go wireless in the real world. He gains admin lvl access in the Architect office because he is supposed to reset the entire system. You can even see his wireless range when the machine city is hurling the bombs at the ship. His 'admin' permission access/powers got upgraded when Neo meets the Architect because he is supposed to then reset the Matrix. By not resetting, Neo still has full administrative level permissions. In that same conversation with the Architect we are also informed Neo is not exactly human. In the same way we see the program Smith take over a human host. Now when Smith takes over Bane, he does not have Architect admin password, he doesn't even have the Oracle's eyes yet (which is the balancing act to Neos upgrade) so Bane has 0 wifi access. At this same time in the film, Neo wirelessly connected to the underground matrix aka Mobile ave station which serves as the backdoor to the Matrix. They tell us Neos neural pattern is like being jacked in, but he is not plugged in. Hence, no hardware interface required for Neos wireless connection. At this time Morpheus asks them to search the Matrix for Neo which proves the ship is at a broadcast depth. They also clearly let you know the Trainman is 'god' of that space & that's the only area that is proven to be a 2nd construct by the films when the Trainman kicks Neos butt. Neither Bane or Neo can fly or have enhanced physical powers in the real world. There is a really good Matrix comic that used to be on the Warner bros site. "Let it all fall down" by Paul Chadwick. I can only find it in Spanish online nowadays but I thought it was really about what Neo is. Kind of has this Tron manifested 'iso' flavor to it. But yea, was sad when they pulled the plug on Matrix online & scrubbed the site off. There was tons of good fan art & information there. I could dig up some game footage links if you really & truly care to see it.

It’s also hinted in revolutions when the club guard refers to seraph as wingless. The Merovingian hoarded several angel agents in his prison. Seraph cut his wings off to serve the Merovingian as part of the deal for saving him. Then he defected to protect the oracle.

  • Although Neo did indeed physically die at the end, I've always believe that his RSI remained inside the Matrix because the first mission of Matrix Online was to find fragments of Neo's RSI, and the RSI was later partially reconstructed by the machines and displayed in a club, so it's clear that some digital artifacts of Neo remained inside the Matrix. I've theorized this in comparison that Neo was able to project himself in Mobil Train Station even though he wasn't connected to anything. It's also clear in Revolutions that those two parts can be separated (his physical vs his digital artifact). Neo's death is clearly hinted at with the cross light metaphor of the Christ when the machines send the "kill code" for Agent Smith (whether it's a kill code specifically for Agent Smith or just killing the body of Neo remains up to debate, but we can clearly see the highlighted sending of a command from the Deus Ex Machina' to Neo via the glowing wires just a moment before Agent Smith is deleted). However, since Neo is clearly a messianic figure like the Christ, he may resurrect. And indeed, in the Matrix Online game canon, there were clear hints that he did, under the traits of Sarah Edmontons (the mystery bluepill woman) who had awaken from a coma. Morpheus acknowledged that Neo's body had not been recycled, and the fact that "Sarah Edmontons" is an anagram for "Thomas Anderson", it was widely believed that she was somehow Neo, the One. Furthermore, on one Machines' set of critical missions, it turned out that Edmontons does not exist in any known database, therefore also supporting the speculation that Edmontons is Neo.

  • How Neo ends up in Mobil Ave: - As suggested in the fandom theory, Neo has a wireless connection directly to the Source (maybe from when he destroyed Smith in the first film or when Smith tried to infect him and he's able to resist it) - When in the real world he accesses the Source to destroy the sentinels and he falls into a coma, the Source immediately identified as a rogue programme and marked for deletion - Mobil Ave is a backdoor used by the Merivingian and the Trainman to traffic rogue programmes, these programmes may be acquired by a kind of file corruption which prevents them from being deleted, ie. they are rejected by the recycling process and fall into Mobil Ave (interestingly this is how red pills are extracted from the Matrix: they are marked for recycling, ejected from the pod, then picked up by the Zionite resistance) - This process may cast a wide net, and because Neo is not an AI but a human, he is rejected and ends up in Mobil Ave

  • I just love the Filosophy of the movie.. i rewatch from time to time to see the monologues from Hugo Weaving again and again :)! This movie triggerd a lot of the way we think.. but never got super appreciated; ie Academy Awards. I dont know why but this movie has a bit of a universe on its own :)!

  • I've gained a whole new respect and understanding of the Merovingian. Thanks for this! You did great, there's another video that explains the trilogy in a similar manner, but doesn't get down to the nitty gritty like you did. Good work!

  • This is a mind blowingly good explanation of the Matrix trilogy. One of the few remaining big questions I have is why was Neo ressurected inside The Matrix when Trinity kissed him while hardwired in?

    • CJ love transcends all matter of space and time, but the oracle states that, being the one is like being in love, you just know it... balls to bones. She knew right out that neo was the one (for obvious reasons) and that trinity would fall in love with him, effectively jump stating the anomaly sub routine. But then you have that whole choice thing... she chose to tell him at that moment, she chose to give into her feeling, in turn directly still being a slave to the matrix, the matrix is both the computer and the real world. Trinity was just a line of code designed to help facilitate the awakening of the anomaly program, trinity was a choice by the architect, nothing more.

    • She is chaos, randomness, human nature, intuition, feelings. Shes basically the devil, not necessarily an evil entity. That way it balanced out the rigid perfection of the Architect or God..again, not necessarily a good entity.

    • @@ottosantiagolassus I think the Merovingian more represents the devil/Lucifer. He caused the 2nd matrix to crash. The oracle was created as a program in the 3rd matrix. Her job was to make neo come back to the source, where he could meet the architect and make the choice to leave the matrix or re enter. Architect the “god”, Merovingian the “devil” and the Oracle the bridge between the 2
