Get ready to meet the CFMOTO 450MT, one of the best motorcycles of 2024!
Inspired by the KTM Adventure 890, the CFMOTO 800MT and the Yamaha Tenere 700, this motorcycle comes from China to conquer the world market.
Most important cyclomechanical features: 450cc twin-cylinder engine, 40 horsepower, multi-tubular steel chassis, Kayaba suspensions and Bosch ABS brakes. In the technological section we highlight the color TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and LED lights. Additionally, as direct rivals we have the Himalayan 450, KTM Adventure 390 and the BMW G 310 GS.

Their longstanding market monopoly and exorbitant pricing are no longer sustainable, especially with Chinese competitors offering comparable quality at a fraction of the cost. While die-hard fans may still favor pricier options, everyday consumers can now access superior experiences previously which was not associated with Chinese motorcycles. It's a win-win situation for all
I test rode a ADVanture last week. I was impressed with it OTD price of $5500 with 2 year warranty. The motor has enough power to do backroads and highways with no problem. In my opinion, I don’t believe they will hold up like the Jap or British bikes over time. In MHO I believe a well maintained 5 year old used jap, bit bike will hold up better than a new Chinese bike over time. Btw, I wanted to like that bike, but I don’t see the value.

In order to stay competitive and relevant in the industry, the big brands have been forced to cut costs on both their processes and their final products.
The rise of China and other South Asian countries offering cheap factories and labor has also played a role. The vast majority of motorcycle manufacturers have been drawn to these countries, which has forced them to change the way they operate.

I had a CF-Moto 250NK and there were a couple of faults with it such as the amount of heat from the engine and after been caught in the rain water got into one of the handle bar switches and played up a bit for a while. Hopefully they will work more on quality than just bringing out new models. Also resale prices are low as well.
this engine is so sucessful that they use the same in different variants. this will result increase availability of parts.

Single disk front brake? Honda took about9 years to put a dual on the cb500x. I thaught the Cinese were smarter than that. Deal braker for me.

Not really. Everything can be ordered directly from China and arrive at your door within a week. I ordered a rectifier for my Suzuki from China, bc the dealer was charging an arm and a leg. Cheap and reliable and was delivered quickly

I know someone who had a CFMOTO 700CLX. The engine overheated and the motorcycle was damaged. It took 6 months to repair the motorcycle and the spare parts were only available from Kawasaki. The repair cost almost $6,000, which is almost the same price as a new motorcycle. It's a shame.
