Man! this was the time when feature phones were a thing. I clearly remember it was summers of 2010 when I went to my nearest phone shop to get some bollywood songs (I'm from India) on my phone against a small sum of money that I had to pay for it. The guy at the shop added Alizée's performance of La isla Bonita & Shakira's "Hips don't lie" along with other bollywood songs. I was in highschool at that time. I did not know who Alizée & Shakira were before that as in India at that time very few people had internet access at their houses. I was completely mesmerized and infatuated by both of them after watching their song performances. I listened to them on repeat until my summer holidays ended. Those were some good times.

I stumble upon this very video some years back quite unexpectedly. I was immediately stunned by her beauty, her presence and her presentation. Laughed hard when I saw the grotesque individual known as "Madonna", sit there and try to act like she was enjoying watching a much hotter, more talented and younger singer sing one of her hits better than she did back in the day. I am now an old dude, "genx", so I grew up listening to that song. Oh, and before I go, I want to draw a comparison between the way Ms. Alizee focuses and looks at the camera during this video and then go watch a video of the Bangle's lead singer, Susanna Hoffs, as she sings "walk like an Egyptian". It is easy to see that when women know how to do this, that they hold all the power in the world and have historically destroyed empires with that power. I don't know much about Ms. Alizee, but where ever she is and whatever she is doing I hope she is doing well.

Man! this was the time when feature phones were a thing. I clearly remember it was summers of 2010 when I went to my nearest phone shop to get some bollywood songs (I'm from India) on my phone against a small sum of money that I had to pay for it. The guy at the shop added Alizée's performance of La isla Bonita & Shakira's "Hips don't lie" along with other bollywood songs. I was in highschool at that time. I did not know who Alizée & Shakira were before that as in India at that time very few people had internet access at their houses. I was completely mesmerized and infatuated by both of them after watching their song performances. I listened to them on repeat until my summer holidays ended. Those were some good times.

I stumble upon this very video some years back quite unexpectedly. I was immediately stunned by her beauty, her presence and her presentation. Laughed hard when I saw the grotesque individual known as "Madonna", sit there and try to act like she was enjoying watching a much hotter, more talented and younger singer sing one of her hits better than she did back in the day. I am now an old dude, "genx", so I grew up listening to that song. Oh, and before I go, I want to draw a comparison between the way Ms. Alizee focuses and looks at the camera during this video and then go watch a video of the Bangle's lead singer, Susanna Hoffs, as she sings "walk like an Egyptian". It is easy to see that when women know how to do this, that they hold all the power in the world and have historically destroyed empires with that power. I don't know much about Ms. Alizee, but where ever she is and whatever she is doing I hope she is doing well.
