  • [INFORMATION] This dance practice room is a Rented Dance Practice room and is not in the new BigHit Building. This room is also used by A.C.E, X1, TOO. GFriend probably rented due to recent Sasaeng Issues (them sneaking into the practice rooms) Source Music addressed the Sasaeng issue Last June (in Twt and also in Weverse) (Also the New BigHit building is not yet being used... they moved the time for The labels to move, I think December... that's why TXT is still in the same Practice room they've always used)

    • True they were the starters and trendsetters of the knife-like, highly synchronized choreos for ggs starting 2015 which made most ggs step up their choreo game. Now most ggs have had to focus more on the choreos and details and synchronization compared to before Gfriend came about~QUEENS

    • True. It was them who started the knife like dances and crystal clear synchronization for girl groups. That’s the reason why other groups have started focusing on their dances and group’s synchronization whether it’d be a girl or boy group because GFRIEND has made it a TREND. :)

  • Sorry for a long post, but been seeing comments here and in their other videos saying that GFriend is not supposed to be treated as an underdog in the industry as they are under BigHit. They’re being compared to TWICE, blackpink, redvelvet, etc.. no hate guys, but For those people who don’t know GFRIEND’s story, here’s some info for you: Unlike some groups, GFriend came from an unknown company whose CEO had to sell his house to budget GFRIEND’s debut and almost file for bankruptcy. GFriend is the only group of Source Music, which means they have no sunbaes that can influence or help them promote the group unlike with TWICE they have the WONDER GIRLS (who won several awards in the U.S.), they also have MISS A. With BLACKPINK they have 2NE1 and BIGBANG (also known worldwide). With RED VELVET, they have SNSD (top 1 girlgroup in KPOP), SUPERJUNIOR, SHINEE, and a lot more other groups under SM entertainment. With GFriend, they only have themselves and some employees (around 30+ during their debut), and their unknown company, Source Music. Source Music has been under BigHit for only a year now since acquisition last year and GFriend only made 2 comebacks since then. First was Crossroads in February 2020 and Apple (July 2020). So please don’t make it seem as if GFriend didn’t do anything special, because we know how hard it was for them to climb their way up to where they are right now

  • Okay so.. someone’s gotta say it! Yuju TOTALLY caught my eye here. Her movements are sharp when they need to be, and smooth when they need to be. I could go on for hours on how amazing she is at dancing.. I mean.. seriously.. For her, a main vocalist, to be so talented as a dancer really blows me away. I danced other kpop gg choreos and it was kinda hard but i mastered it a bit but mostly when i tried this i thought it'd be easy but when i look at the video i filmed SOO MANY AND I MEAN SO MANY DETAILS ARE MISSING it doesnt even look like i danced it.     • I really love her dance! When watching Gfriend’s performances and dance practices, you can tell she’s the main dancer of the group, but at the same time, she blends well with the group and doesn’t overpower the other members too much, it makes the group dance look really clean and balanced.

  • Gfriend still owns the title of best dance performance queens to me. Their choreos are always sharp and clean. The transitions, the footwork, everything is just on point. Legends indeed

  • I love how much their choreographies have matured, I see some people saying GFriend doesn't do "hard" choreos anymore. They don't need to jump and do acrobatics for a choreo to be difficult, and not every choreo has to be hard? We already know they are amazing dancers, i want to see them exploring different styles of dancing, and i got to see that with Apple, and they killed it!

  • Why they are so synchronized?? Because they all worked hard and they look and practice the details of their choreography ... And let's not forget our Main Dancer SinB who guides GFriend in choreography / dancing ~ and our leader Sowon who is also fast to learn the choreography (also help the members to correct the choreography) ... For the example in Showtime (I forgot what episode it is~😅) where they practice Navillera ~and all of them are always improving (in singing and dancing) !! That's how work hard GFriend ♡♡♡
