McKinney coaches forgot to transfer in a QB that can throw, which is a shame since they are otherwise pretty good. Probably won't make it back to the 3rd round if the defense is on the field the whole game. Allen is continuing to gel pretty well and their running game and D-line looks unstoppable. Pretty expected result here I would say
McKinney's passing game needs a lot of work. They seem to bank everything on the running game.

I was at this game live and to say that McKinney was embarrassed would be an understatement. They lost in every facet of the game. Most of the fans didn't even stay till the end. I left with my brother's before Allen's final score. Having watched Allen vs McKinney last year when the game was ultra competitive to then seeing this dud of a game was excruciatingly disappointing as someone who saw McKinney making a legitimate run deep into the playoffs. What this game showed is that McKinney struggles to play with consistent team-effort intensity and that their inability to improve in the pass game has slowed down their offense and made them predictable thus stagnating the offense as a whole. I wish them the best and I hope this group can improve because this team has too many high level prospects to have allowed a less talented then usual Allen team that is just starting to find its identity blow them out this way.
They didn't have the QB they had the previous season to run that offense. It's why they switched to be more run-oriented this season.
@@Frosty4024 The loss of Keldric Luster has proven to be their biggest blow as a team. They are greatly lacking in identity offensively and at this point the QB position should be up for grabs, freshman included because if they can at least get some consistency and half decent play at QB then they still have enough talent overall to make that deep playoff run. If not they will struggle immediately come playoff season.
@joshuasabia1083 It will not be a surprise if they end up the #4 seed from the district. Prosper will most likely be the 1 (I dont see them losing to Allen). Allen/Guyer should be 2/3. McKinney will be the 4 (Unless they somehow beat Guyer or Prosper) because the bottom teams already have 2-3 district losses.
McKinney needs to stick to the running game…how does number 1 not continue to touch the ball and you have a back like number 2 who you don’t utilize….coaches need to realize you have to coach to the strength of your players ….RPO is not for every team💯
