LYRICS:
I can feel you, I can hear you, howling in my bones
There’s an evil lurking in the dark (there’s an evil lurkin’ in the dark)
Ever shifting, skin is ripping, as you take control
I can’t tell where you end and where I start (there’s an evil lurkin’ in the dark)
A ferocious diagnosis, under moonlit hands
Will the man become the monster or the monster become man?
I could be up all night, but I’m paralyzed when the creature comes alive
Cause it’s fight or fright, in the full moonlight, you can run but you can’t hide
I could be honest, I could be human
I could become the silver bullet in your head
But no one can break my heart like I can
Werewolf
Bleed the neon from the bite marks, ever bittersweet
Smile for the camera but don’t flash your teeth (everybody loves a mystery)
Let the bodies hit the dance floor to this heart-break-beat
I feel like "somebody’s watchin me" (feels like everybody’s watchin me)
Seductively destructive, we are true romance
Does the man become the monster or the monster become man?
I could be up all night, but I’m paralyzed when the creature comes alive
Cause it’s fight or fright, in the full moonlight, you can run but you can’t hide
I could be honest, I could be human
I could become the silver bullet in your head
But you can’t break my heart like I can
Can't fight these cravings in the night
A beast whose burdened by his bite
Can't fight these cravings in the night
You can’t break my heart like I can
Can't fight these cravings in the night
Moonwalking feed the appetite
Can't fight these cravings in the night
You can’t break my heart like I can
And in the pale moonlight, a debt to be paid
For one must suffer for all eternity
Nothing lasts forever, even guilty pleasures
I could be up all night, but I’m paralyzed when the creature comes alive
Don’t wanna feel
I could be honest, I could be human
I could become the silver bullet in your head
No you can’t break my heart like I can

I LOVE that they brought back the full gothic, dark, fairytale aesthetic videos with high end settings,, decorations, lighting, make-up, costumes and all. I absolutely need more of this in my life!
This I an awesome song I love it so so much xx♥️❤️
Same with the Reimagined versions from Falling in Reverse. Those music videos are dope!
@FlowerBoyReverie that's amazing!! I would have been too if I could have gotten to LA in the timeframe they had 🤦🏼♀️🤣 I bet that was surreal to experience!! Treasure those memories for sure! 🎃
I love your comment but gotta leave the likes on 570 for well....reasons! lol 😆 ❤🖤🤘🎶☠
I can never disagree with you
The 80's sound, the references, THE PUNKED OUT THRILLER JACKETS, everything about this is amazing and wrapped in cheesy Halloweeny goodness.
Agree 100%!!
90s
At 3:25 the backing dancers even started doing the thriller for a brief moment. As always with Motionless, everything just blended seamlessly! I also love how as you said, it was a punked out thriller jacket. They could have very easily just stuck on a straight up replica, but they actually made it their own and tailored it to their own image whilst still being recognisable to the source material. Just GENIUS in every way!
Jackets looks NOTHING like "Thriller", but okay. Yes, both the song and the video drink a lot from the 80's, definetly. But that's it.

Awesome idea
Right! it's a good mixture of both
The references, the aesthetic, the way it was made, the jackets, the close up shots, IT WAS PERFECT
SIUUUUUUU
'Let the bodies hit the dance floor' 'Somebody is watching me' Damn if they went heavy with references, I don't care. It was, it IS glorious.
@@TheNicokapo also “moonwalking, feed the appetite”
I know right? I geeked out by the thriller jacket itself!
May someone explain the refs??
You can tell this band really loves what they do and put in one hell of an effort to reach their fan base
They absolutely do!! And those extras are fans on the video too!!!
I recently saw them when they played their hometown at Montage Mountain in Scranton PA, and you could tell they were absolutely humbled to be back on their old stomping grounds, playing for a crowd THAT size. It was AWESOME.

What about the nods to Muse? The synths sound just like Algorithm and they did a tribute to Somebody's Watching Me on their Halloween song.
Sorry but the original song isn’t from MJ but from Rockwell ! Listen again to your old classics 😉

There is something so amusing about Chris singing in the middle of a circle of dancing werewolf girls that just makes me want to explode laughing. God I love this genre.
I am pretty Sure Maria Brink helped them out with the dance Moves. There is something In this Moment alike with it. I have been a Fan Since 2014 and i love how MIW always knew what they wanted, stay true to themselves but has always been musically evolving.
@@jazzyunicorn6305 I thought the same thing but pushed it to the back of my mind for later thinking I was nuts!! So glad someone else saw that too! 😂
What genre is this considered? It reminds me of some of the newer falling in reverse songs, and ice nine kills the silver scream album
@@JeffDavis94 Someone above commented in the one with 80 replies metalcore, i was curious myself what genre they would come under as ive never head them before
@@JeffDavis94 Hi, I personally am undecided on what genre to call this song, but when I say “genre” in my comment I’m referring to metal-core because those are their roots and the source of the ridiculous theatrical shenanigans I love so much. I really love that as they develop their style musically as a band, they still stick to those roots and influences!
Everybody is only talking about chris (fair enough, his vocals are insanely out of this world, it's understandable he gets most of the attention) but theres also a whole band who wrote this song and many who have put this together. A round of applause for everyone who contributed to make this come to live.
Definitely!! I love how animated the rest of the band members look while they’re playing!!
can you tell me the lyric concept? my english isn't that great
Absolutely! Justin and Ricky contribute a lot of vocals on this track and others from the album. And where would we be without Vinny and Ryan? It's a family and fans love EVERY ONE OF THEM.

Hell of a job on the album and video! I helped my wife find metal, tragedies struck and she found you. Your music helped her get back on her feet, and helps her keep standing. I can’t thank you enough.
Dude this is not metal. Its pop music with guys that dress up metalish, with some guitar riffs.

I’ve been a motionless fan for a long time but this is definitely my favourite music video they’ve made
I am so proud of them. They keep getting better with time and most bands don't.
MIW are artists, they have strategically placed lyrics and poetic words to deliver an amazing song and the work hard to kill it every show they play. These guy earned all our respect.
This is one of the best tributes to a classic song that I’ve ever seen. They do it so perfectly that you can’t tell by the song and lyrics themselves, you need the video and even then it’s still subtle enough that if you don’t know Thriller you might miss most of it like the outfits and certain dance moves. Brilliant, fellas. He would be proud.

Okay. But the cinematography and makeup for this was beyond exceptional for a music video. Halloween was the perfect day for this release. This was BEAUTIFUL boys. Well done. You've outdone your other videos by miles.
Right? A beautiful homage to Thriller through a different genre of music! Love the new direction they're going in.
Agreed this is definitely an homage to thriller, just did in their style of music. Which in my opinion was amazing.
Not to mention the chorus from Somebody's watching me by Rockwell (which Michael Jackson sang)
the werewolf in falling in reverse's popular monster video looked better and probably cost more.
@@phild1986 glad somebody else caught that. That's half the reason I like the song so much tbh lol
I am obsessed with this song. After watching the video and NOW after reading the comments I definitely understand why. Thriller was one of my favorite songs growing up. Can't wait to see you guys later this month!
For real though, tell me how this rips off “Popular Monster”. Honestly. The two bare absolutely no similarities to each other, except that both lead singers turn into werewolves (which isn’t something FIR invented to begin with). The whole beef Ronnie is trying to start just screams “I’m a man child who doesn’t like when a band does a thing better than me please pay attention to me” and I’m just confused why he’d even be upset with a video like this. And the lyrical content and inspirations aren’t even like, almost adjacent…
