Haddaway's musical career started in 1993 with the dance hit "What Is Love", which quickly became a standard popular request - and still is today - in every club, both here and abroad.
Twice winner of the Echo prize, and, with sales of 28 million, the owner of numerous platinum, gold and silver records, Haddaway is one of the pop music world's global players.
There were more chart hits during the following years, including "Life", "I Miss You", "Rock My Heart" and "Fly Away".

  • A few years ago at partly at my place my friends then 13 year old daughter wanted some dance music so I put this on and she was blown away saying it was one of the best song that she'd ever heard. I ended up playing it several times until she wore herself out dancing. Great songs never age.

  • 90s was the best decade in human existence in my view. This song is spot on and it predicted chaos so to speak. The digital era while gives us youtube which is cool but social media ie fb and Insta is destroying the social fabric of society. It's dividing us instead of bringing us together as in human contact etc. The 90s was a time of free spirit and community. ❤👍

    • Seriously, the 20's are now all about sitting alone at home and showing off on social media. I don't ever remember taking photos of my stupid food when I was a kid. We just ate our kfc and fries! Back in the 90's when all we had were walkman's, covid would have been real hard on us! But it's like today's social media generation was built for covid and quarantining! It's like Tiktok and Insta hasn't changed their lifestyle at all!

    • Exactly yet people will call you a boomer or tell you to stop complaining (I’ve seen so many say this as an insult or to shut you up every time this topic is brought up). People really believe we’re living in peaceful times they’re delusional when it’s the complete opposite of that. Depression is at a all time high, suicides, homelessness, addiction and crime. People have socially isolated themselves more than ever yet crave that unity we had in the 80s and 90s. Now we only have a deceptive unity being shoved down our throats that’s causing more division.
