@@cupparuppa I still remember my first time 🤯, there isnt a "spawn", its death, lava, withers and some portals, but I dont know if they are still open. I remember someone lost some shulker boxes on a portal and I took them. It made the way out easier because it had a lot of notch apples, soul sand and wither heads. I still have them.

To lube hoses and stuff like that use a bit of iso alcohol, I’ve spent a few years in a harness shop it works like soap and leaves nothing behind to cause any kind of contamination.
Linus Tech Tips: The Ultimate Minecraft Server 2b2t: The map file is from 2010 and is several terabytes in size and is still very playable albeit very laggy due to how many mobs, items, players and overall how much stuff happens all at once on it but it is still going strong If you want to build the Ultimate Minecraft server try to get in contact with Hausemaster the Admin of 2b2t I'm serious he manages the server himself (not just Admin wise but server management as a whole) so he'd be a great reference on how to build the Ultimate Minecraft Server.

@Antoine Viallon Minecraft is very bad at using multiple threads, so having high performance per thread is much better than having many threads

One of the best parts of LTT is that half way through the video it is just organized chaos, and it is hilarious.
Stress testing would be having loads of entities in the game with that many players, it's easy to just have players loaded into spawn

The reason why your bungee cord wasn’t letting you have multiple people connect to different servers at once because you had it set to one specific IP address which was the main server that people were connecting to you have to set a different back up one for it to connect to all the other servers

I would like to see ryzen 3000 Minecraft Java server performance vs Intel
That would be interesting. Minecraft is heavily single threaded so more cores would just mean more server instances, but each would likely support fewer people due to lower clock speed.
@@COLTstrgj1 The fact is that JVM server test show massive increase in performance for second gen epyc www.anandtech.com/show/14694/amd-rome-epyc-2nd-gen/12 so I think this maybe interesting to test.
It may be interesting, but I can't tell you that you want the absolute. maximum. single core. performance. And on more than one core, so boost is no good. With the lastest versions on the public server (spigot) in which i'm cofounder the only real option is a 9900k balls to the wall at 5ghz, and we're desperate for more singlethread performance.
@@tiger.98 single core performance also means Java IPC as well, so you need to test it.
@@Soras_ Well it's not like the processor runs Java code directly, and Minecraft is a blob of code nowhere near Java 8 performance. Although Zen 2 has higher IPC, IPC that can vary between workloads, maximum all core overclock it's not high and I doubt that it could reach 5ghz on Skylake performance. I love Ryzen and I have a 1950x, but sometimes you just need the right hardware for the job and in some cases, expecially if mission critical, Intel it's still the better choice (sadly)

I did a similar project with my old 6th gen i5. I water-cooled it and put it to 4.4GHz and put 32GB of RAM in it at 2800MHz (mixed sets so I just chose the looser timings) and it runs really well. When it was just 2 people on it I had the render distance at 12 and it was really nice. I need to find other games though because this is a great server for hosting games on.

After running minecraft servers for years, it's not as simple as just putting it on a beefy box. Trust me, I'm currently running my network on overclocked 9900k's. I think what you have is a cool concept, but there's a lot you don't know about the game itself. The real problem is within minecraft itself, and needs a LOOOOOOOOT of things configured properly in order to run. If you're attempting to run 1.14+ (or 1.13+) on vanilla minecraft, you'd be lucky to get 30-40 people without lag. Even if you go to a more stable version, anything over 100 gets VERY tricky unless you know what you're doing.

I know u know about servers, but the redundancy on a minecraft server uses more cpu power that other typical games because anything done in the Minecraft map is DONE IN THE SERVER So what you call a single person using one part of cpu power is actually easily three parts to like 10 parts depending on what that said player is doing ie: mining, farming, using water The thing that will mostly kill your server will be when someone breeds 300 sheeps in one block and lets them lose
And a year and a half later we still wait for a sequel

Well I can answer that question for you - yes, they have used a lot of it. Linus had to put trash cans under the sink drains because people kept dumping things down the sink despite it not being functional. They've used the knives, they do use the cabinets. I don't know about the pots and pans, but probably those too.
