what’s crazy is that jony ive’s apple used to do sometimes this kind of videos, showing and detailing parts of the design process
Ed:Point is, they don't openly admit anything (ofc) until something forces them or causes controversy. They pretend to know about the real world- real problems but they don't lol.. -Og reply: Exactly. They make millions/billions off slave workers and children- they'll continue the same whether it's in China, India, wherever. They talk about "reducing" e-waste while so much of their stuff becomes that in a short time.
It’s different stages of company expansion. Apple would never do whatever they are doing right now pre iphone era. They have grown so much bigger now that they have to spend a considerable amount of energy on the running of the company other than just innovate. People sometimes forget about the complexity of operating such a huge multi-trillion dollar institutions. It’s the same thing with Google or Microsoft. And I don’t believe it is Tim Cook or anyone’s fault. Tim Cook landed in Apple at the time when Apple needs a CEO that focuses on marketing and expansion. So there is that.
Too bad my Nothing Ear 1 is literally coming apart, I think imma switch to AirPods 😢
@@andredingstertsao Not really but sure I guess it could've been more possible for apple to make a vid/produce this kind of marketing in the past. Tho, Nothings whole premise is "KZheadr"-like product marketing and community involvement. Trying to be tightly operated and open but making flagship type stuff. Idk if they'll ever have the resources like Apple but Carl pei and these guys are experienced with deep pockets

As an industrial designer, its amazing to see the process documented and shown to people, especially when many efforts are usually veiled behind NDAs and often become lost to time.

Yi ying made me laugh a lot when she pranked Tom with the earplug joke, Tom's reaction is so funny. Yi ying has to appear in many more videos! haha
I NEED MORE of them, they're so transparent and open, like the earphones (2) 😅💕 and it's what I LOVE about Nothing, they're the *ONLY* ones like this♥️
These two have good chemistry. It's very subtle but complementary without seeming forced which is nice because it's not too distracting. I enjoyed their interactions. This segment was also the longest stream of technical conversation you've had without constant curation which is great. I like that you described part of the processes and the thinking behind the design..it was cool to see you get excited about the innovations in design and manufacturing. #teamnothing

Somehow I want to join the team and work for the company so much (I am a QA engineer). I feel the passion from everyone in the company, try the best to make the best for the product. People are nice and talk to each other so softly and sometimes I barely hear Nothing. Hopefully I can grab the pair of ear 2 some day soon, so excited 😁

It's always so refreshing to see folks excited about tech. Got my first Nothing product - Phone 1 - few months ago, as my secondary device. Though it won't replace my primary, it's been a pleasure using the phone, and it's enough for me to just be able to show my support to these folks and be a part of their exciting journey with greater things to come.
It's great to hold ear(2) and be brought on the journey with you (at least partially). Really great to see the team and hear how they explored many avenues to get us best product! Keep it going!

Using the case as a stand has been a god send on flights. It's soo good! Lower the tray, pop the buds in, put the phone in the stand and good to go.

Bro I’ve tried ear(2) on soho store today, and the fit was amazingly comfortable. I got shocked, the connecting ‘click’ sound was satisfying. Nicely done, Im really waiting for the laptop now

Got mine yesterday! I'm genuinely happy and impressed with the ear (2). Though, the noise cancelling is not the greatest. The sound quality and design really makes up for it!
ANC is unusable. Should release a non ANC version for cheap.
Yi-ying is super chill and super nice.
Honestly, I never like when I have to tear a product box, for me it's like disrespecting the product. I like preserving things.

Just received mine today, I love them!! Latency is fantastic, I was skeptic about the dual input mode with my TV and phone, but youtube and other applications are just fine! Seriously great allrounders.

I couldn't help but notice that Adam Bates was wearing an F91W. Great product and great watch.
I've worn a lot of TWS from all the big brands, but the ear2 are by far and away the best fitting ones it's wild. APP2 are close, but tend to loosen when my face is moving, meanwhile Ear2 just in there like they are glued down.

I'll give the video a watch later on. Maybe my question is answered in the video, but on the off-chance it's not, I've been an Ear (1) owner for what is it now 17 months since they came out? In the last month, first the left and then the right outer stalk cover has come away. Fortunately on both occasions I've been in the house and able to locate the parts at the time they fell off and they didn't get damaged or lost. I've used UV setting resin to fix them back on and both phones are working fine with no cosmetic changes. I just wondered if whatever method is being used to attach these parts has undergone any revision for the Ear (2). I'm not in the market for a new pair of phones yet, but if I were, I think I'd be steering clear of these without the knowledge that this had been improved. I want at least another year, more likely 2 out of these phones before I replace them so perhaps something you can address in the Ear (4)
