Will the KLX230s fail to start after a stall on a steep hill?
This seems to be something people are concerned about.

    • Soon, I got a heap of stuff sorted out today, but I’m still having trouble getting a bashplate (AXP ), and I need to change the mirror setup, the folding drc’s don’t work for me, so I might go some fold out behind the barkbusters kind , plus I have some suspension settings to sort out, it’s way to firm and doesn’t follow the ground at the rear.

  • Thanks for the video, I'm just glad it's not something you have to worry about Funnily enough I'll be near a Kawasaki dealership tomorrow so I'll be able sit on this and the 250 model and compare them to the crf300 rally I sat on. The 230s must be shorter than I'm imagining if your knees are bent to touch the ground aha Part of me thinks that the suspension was modified on the Honda I sat on because it was used, there wasn't much sag and i was on the balls of my feet. I'm still leaning more towards the Honda purely because of how many aftermarket parts available for it. If the klx300 was in Australia it would be very close if the aftermarket was backing it

    • I just worry I'd break the fairings once I start hitting the harder tracks so an L with a long range tank might be the way I go. I reached out to a local pit inspector to see if that can be mod plated and am waiting to hear back. if it's not possible to use it legally on the roads then I'll avoid the headache and get the rally. The police are relentless where I live. 1 yellow sticker with my 4wd had my car off the road for nearly 6 months.. never again ahaha
