Thank you for respecting the viewers time and not dragging this out for 20 minutes.
Of course! I hate videos that waste time!
this is literally exactly the video i was looking for, thank you
Fantastic video man, definitely needed the sound comparison. Cheers!
these are really well put together videos, my dude. thank you
Great video for someone totally new to mechanical keyboards
Thanks for getting right to the sound test! Have a thumbs up! 👍
Great video, that escape key and chart paper was a nice touch. You pretty much covered everything do mention the actuation force tho, it makes a difference. Cheers
Haha! Immediately liked the video after the sound test since that's all I needed! Thanks for doing that and saving me and everyone else time! :D
I wish every youtube video was this nice and straightforward. good job 👍 !
Wow, your video is great. Thanks so much for the great explanation and comparison! ❤
helping a friend out with getting a better keyboard, and just wanted a simple video to show the difference between the main three. this video was perfect!
lovely testing video. Straight to the point no nonsense. Thank you
Appreciate nice presentation, very much to the point!
followed as soon as you did the sound test first thank you so much
Had no idea what keyboard having a brown switch meant...your tutorial was perfect. And yes we all greatly appreciate you not being like the rest who talk for 10 minutes before getting to what we tuned in to see! You're GREAT...im definitely a follower of yours sir!
Its been a while since I subbed to someone, well. That first test made me sub!
Great video. Loved the demos with the colors on display. I love my blue switches. My desk shares a wall with my daughter's bedroom. She's 13. I've been in school (undergrad then grad program) for the past couple years and she mentioned when she falls asleep hearing me type up papers she knows how hard I'm working and the sound is actually soothing. I mean, sometimes I'm just chatting with friends. lol I didn't know she could hear me typing. I need to replace my keyboard and was going to get something quieter but that's when she told me not to. She likes it. Clickies are staying.
This was so wholesome over some switches
Love the background/base color as well as the exposed ESC switch during the sound tests to easily identify which switches we're hearing. Excellent. Sub earned!
ikr that was fucking SMART
Wow, this video is pretty awesome and helpful. I've subscribed
Бро, спасибо тебе огромное!!! Несколько часов искал такое простое и понятное объяснение!! Спасибо!
Great video! Deserves more views!
this was insanely helpful, I just bought a PC for the first time and I am the ultimate newbie when it comes to all of this stuff...I'm used to laptops! I wanted something that was similar to my laptop's keyboard and see how the key gets pushed down for each type helped way more than just hearing the sound. Thank you so much!
Which switch did you end up with?
I was waiting for the sound test and you gave it too early. LIKED 👍👍👍👍
very well done! thanks
i like brown the most, tactile and not loud. Used blue switches before, liked them a lot, but it really was too loud, so i swapped to brown, already tried red, didnt like them, just felt mushy and weird for some reason idk lol.
Super helpful. Thanks.
Great video I really thought that you had more than 500 k subscribers
literally left a like due to doing the sound before talking for 10 mins :)
love the video, great help coz im tossing up between red and brown, but dude that hat looks massive, you can fit 2 heads in there
Great video.
Honestly I bought a brown switch keyboard on a whim recently and it's such a freaking step up from membrane boards that I can't go back. Bought a blue from the same make and it's... novel. But it's deffo loud. I think I'm sticking with brown forever. That tactile feedback is just too good.
Ive always always wanted a typewriter because of its clackyness and thats why I got the blue switch
oh man well explained
do you still work as a instrument techinician? it would be cool to see a update video or a video on how the education was
I cannot get used to MX blues and I think it’s about the dissatisfactory overall feeling rather than the click itself. It’s personal preference😊 I prefer tactile though (browns or clears). Excellent video
Asus ROG Azoth has Snow switch-Refined linear any idea what is that and how it compares to the other switches ? Subscribed 🎉👍🏼
thanks you helped me a lot i prefer red ones
Gracias illojuan!
appreciate it 👍
this video is magic
nice high quality vidoe
I like the red for gaming but I don’t want the keys to press too easily so do I get the browns?
i came here for 1 thing and got it first. thank you. a like was left :)
In a pair of months I have beend used a Blue Switches keyboard, and the clicky sounds is music for my ears, but recently i try it a Red Switches keyboard, and now, dude i miss the Clicky Sound 😢 But the Red Switches are great for typing or gaming. For games it is the icing on the cake, they are excelent.
Thank for not talking for over 48 minutes before a sound test!
I'm here for those good clickity clackity sounds, thank you
Also dang those blue switches are CRUNCHY
How about a quality membrane keyboard? My eclipse 2 finally died and that was an amazing keyboard that I've had for damn near 10 years
Thank you so much I brought blue switches to my local library and the librarian loved the switches so much that she took them for herself
liked for you not talking for 10 min before letting us hear the sound
top video
Great overview.

0:33 Cheers mate. I will watch the entire video anyways.
Prefer the clicky blue. Reminds me of a good old typewriter sound.
As an Introvert, I'm going for the Blues 😂
>not talking for ten minutes before doing a sound test please leave a like yes thank you, I definitely did. I appreciate you respecting the viewer's time, liked and subscribed.
Blue pls
Personally, I find red switches to be the most satisfying to type on when it comes to low profile keyboards. I just got my brown switches and I find them a little too clacky and springy whereas the reds feel more smooth and thocky. Brown feels like a midpoint between blue and red.
My brother liked my first mechanical keyboard with blue switches so much that he broke the right shift
at first i was so satisfied with my blue switch but now i just find it annoying that's why i just ordered a 90% percent red switch keyboard now gonna change my 65% blue switch keyboard also its more convenient for typing because it's 90% now
Didn't even know keyboards even existed where you could rip out the entire switches and replace them, that actually explains why a lot of people are able to customize them
I've given exactly 3 likes my entire adult life. You just earned the fourth by not going on for half an hour before hitting they keys. Nice video!
Fully modded Cherry MX + Alu plate = Certified hood classic combo.
I own a keyboard with blue switches for 8 years (and yes, my gf still lives with me) and had no problem. I'll wait until all are asleep, after that i need to carefully press the keys if i'm typing smth :)))
my roomaates are going crazry because of my blue switch keyboard (because of the high noise). I'm offering it for sale now :(
brown or red?
if i'm a coder what type is best for me
Definitely not Clicky one, lol.
*Once you use a Cherry MX Silent Red keyboard, you can never use anything else (unless you're weird and like to hear clicking sounds).*
i really love and only use blue switches
@@xplodebass7698 sorry can you repeat please I couldn't hear you
🤣🤣
It's not about the noise, it's about the feel.
