I feel like there's this automatic disinterest sometimes when it comes to people listening to them sing/rap in Korean. Yes, you don't understand what they're saying but you cannot deny the straight up talent that oozes from them. I think as Americans, we need to be more open-minded to different cultures that aren't just the regular Hispanic or Black culture we're used to. The world is big and wide and we need to be more open-minded.

Boy with Luv was one of their most simple dances for a reason. They have really intricate dance practices as well, and it's not just a bunch of hip gyrating. Try Blood Sweat and Tears or Save Me!

If you're talking about Fake Love....Well there were a few CGI things like the flower petals floating and the phone turning into sand but yeah the rest was real with a little editing (Yoongi didn't actually sit in front of the huge flame)

And to be honest she probably wasn’t lying and did think they looked the same BUT she doesn’t understand what is actually happening. HER brain is simplifying their facial features due to the cross race effect, they don’t actually look the same. Look it up, it’s quite interesting. ☺️

The first time I saw them, I can tell that they do not look the same. I instantly remembered RM, Suga, Jhope and Jimin because they do have unique features that makes them stand out. But I had trouble with Jin, JK and V. I often messed up who is who between these Bermuda Triangle Visuals.

You could argue that maybe with jimin because of his delicate face structure but that's about it🤷🏾♂️. Other than that the only reason one could say that is becuase theyre Korean. Because generally speaking they have softer, lighter skin. That doesn't exactly mean they look effeminate, they're just differnet looking men from another country i think🙂.

I lyk Blackpink too but they got nothing on BTS(it's true, except yt views) , they're kpop royalty and legends, while bp has 15 songs in total(since 2016,mostly bcoz of their sxxt company), BTS released more than 50 songs(many on SoundCloud for free) just in 2018, plus they have 3 billboard chart topping albums, they have the best selling album worldwide this year(4m and counting) and sold out the biggest stadiums in the world this year in record tym,won 2 BBMA's this year, spoke at the the UN in 2018, plus they write and produce 90% of their music which is deeply personal about mental health and self-love and other topics, I recommend checking out their other songs too(DNA, Save Me, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Boy In Luv, Save Me, Fire, Dope,Idol etc), it's unfair to compare Blackpink to BTS tbh
They also started from nothing and worked hella hard while blackpink was able to get recognition fast because of the fact that they are under one of the big 3s.
Both groups are good. There is no need to bring up Blackpink and compare them.

It doesn’t sonically work with the music. And for some reason, the lyrics sound more like spoken word poetry than song lyrics. They’re deep seated and beautiful, but musically they’re not laudable sometimes

I don't know if it's the most difficult but at least Suga said it's the most tiring. He even started going to the gym to get stronger to be able to go through it without getting too tired to continue with the rest of their concerts after that song.
BTS dance practices will blow your mind. To see the musicality and precise choreo these boys give is inspiring and hopefully can inspire your group. Love the reactions! My favorite dance practice is 'fire' love that one. Keep it up!

3j performances are ur mans Jimin,Jungkook and Jhope..they are the dance line and Jhope is actually like the team leader even tho ur mans Jimin was the best in his performance arts school and majored in modern dance. jhope was a famous street dancer before joining BTS and ge learns in minutes what the others take hours to perfect.. all of the 3Js have a dance background tho .Jungkook was sent to LA as a teenager to perfect his craft and has great rhythm and flow so its a treat for sure ..

As awesome as Boy with Luv was, I always thought it was never a good first MV for people who are beginning to learn about them. Their lyrics, visuals, everything about the song was a dedication to ARMY, so anyone who is not really a fan may not understand what was so great about it. But Fake Love is definitely a good first MV, along with probably some of their more energetic songs like Fire, Mic Drop, Not Today, etc. And yes, definitely watch their dance videos. Sometimes it is hard to appreciate the choreo in the MV because it is hard to see their formations and movements, and some choreo is taken away to produce more visuals for the MV.

First you should get to know the members! Then maybe watch some live stages or dance practices recommend by other fans. I personally enjoyed there Make It Right, Boy With Luv and Dionysus comeback stages. After that check out there solo stuff! THe cool thing about kpop is that it’s a like a “genre within a genre “. It’s not just “pop music in korean “ people always assume . Kpop is known to incorporate a mix of different genre such as hip hop, RnB , pop, edm , trap , house , rock , ballad , jazz etc. even Latin pop . Bts main base is hip hop . And have couple members who to be underground rappers . However they have experiment with other genres over the years .

Fun fact! All the scenes in Fake Love were real, no special effects or editing! So the water, the fire, the hallway falling down, etc.
