Its a tier list about fighting skills, not power levels DK is stronger, but hes doesnt have finely tuned and practiced technique, and his "feats" here are more him beating seemingly more trained fighters like Karate Kong and not so much him punching the moon, since thats more relevant to this tier list

I think the part that bothered me most about that is that Roy in Smash has the Binding Blade, so it is Endgame Roy. B tier at worst, but almost definitely A tier.
Inklings, as a species, are more or less wired for warfare. There’s a reason they turned it a simple friendly sport because they’ve been doing it for a LONG time.
Well, it's not *a kid,* as Inkling represents their entire species. They are also vastly more advanced and intelligent than humans, and consider their intelligence primitive. And those humans are in turn far more advanced than us, as they mastered cryogeny and their technology was capable of being self-sustaining for ten millennia. But yes. Disregarding Sora's feats because KH is a more 'cartoonish' setting is not exactly fair.
Ness in D-Tier is absolutely insane. He beats up 5 grown-ass men that are TRAINED police men, takes on hordes of alien beings easily, he’s literally canonically a living manifestation of the Earth and Phycic Power. And if that’s not enough for you, he no-mercy style obliterated the embodiment of hate and evil. And some may say, “but he didn’t kill Giygas, Paula did” well, you have to take into account that he CARRIED the entire team to that final confrontation.
Ness can literally fight hordes of alien soldiers with nothing but his bare hands and Poo (someone who trained his whole life) even said that Ness is one hell of a fighter. Seeing stuff like this as a powerscaler and earthbound fan is a *huge pain in the ass*. And in a matter of fact, almost every smash bros fighter would beat the ever living shit out of a normal person due to them having combat experience

@@mohmedabdo4681While it's not (I think) properly stated, the Roy segment implies that the characters are evaluated as they are at the beginning of their game. The Toon Link analysis goes this way too. Destiny Island Sora being C-tier does not seem wrong.
I also have to mention peach is a playable character in three games where she can match up with Mario; Even if you don't count Super Mario Bros. 2 (which reskinned a different game, but DID give her the floating power in proper canon) she's still a party member in Super Mario RPG and Super Paper Mario, where she can kick ass on a level similar to the other characters. Yes, if you don't let her use magic she's weaker than mario, but still a fighter you can beat the game with.

Dude Byleth in B tier is crazy. At the end of the Chrimson Flower route he and Edelgard were able to kill the Immaculate One who survived multiple nuke-like bombs on top of being an extremely adaptable fighter even before he gained Divine Pulse to turn back time. A tier at least but I'd argue S tier
The Warriors spin-off game makes the point quite potently. Byleth there is encountered as an enemy before the plot of Three Houses even starts. Not only is he known as the "demon" and feared by other mercenaries, his appearance on the battlefield seals theor victory. He crushes the spin-off MC's whole retinue and their captain by himself, only to also demolish the MC in one-on-one combat.

In the case of Roy, he should be at least an A-Tier. It should be assumed that Roy has reached the true ending since his main weapon in Smash is and always has been the Binding Blade which doesn't get unlocked until close to the final chapter. He freaking slays a dragon, which could arguably put him in S Tier.

Whoever made this mod didn't play some of these games. Toon link has a swordmaster to train him at his home island and bests ganondorf in a swordfight at the end of the game. He's easily b tier.

love how ness can heal himself, reverse time when losing, and also beat an omnipresent being but they still nerfed him tons. Ness was capable of beating a creature made entirely out of diamond, was powered up by his own mind and capable of damaging ( albeit not killing) Giygas after he became an abstract, universal being of pure fucked up evil. Giygas is literally omnipresent and ness was taking hits from him and surviving, he claps most of the people in smash ult.

Palutena can channel her divinity into Pit for a 5 minute period, allowing him flight, but after that he can no longer fly or his wings will literally combust into flame and severely weaken him. Pit's recovery (or Up + B) shows a glowing around his wings. Said glowing is the very Power Palutena Grant's Pit

You know they didn't think too hard when sora is in c-tier, the guy who can master any weapon in 10 seconds, fought through multiple worlds, and takes on armies by himself.
I'd say Simon belongs in A tier because of the fact that he's the second greatest Belmont in canon, beating Death and Dracula two times in his life, and is second to Julius, and Pit belongs in S tier because of his connection to Palutania (though with his experience, he may even belong in A tier at least, with or without Palutena).
Simon has a formal martial education from the Belmont family and to our knowledge has no magical enhancements. He is strong enough to go toe to toe with dracula with sheer martial prowess and juicing. He should be A tier at least. Byleth earned the title of the "Ashen demon" before Sothis awakens. They're a very experienced merc despite their age.

11:46 that’s kinda unfair for Sora, that Sephiroth fight in KH1 is brutal I did not work by butt off to hear “yeah… Sora strong cuz Disney made it easy…”. Even if we don’t count the KH1 Sephiroth fight, using just KH1, Sora learns advanced magic skills extremely quickly, outclassing Donald who was an advanced Royal Mage pretty early in the story KH1. He learns the power to STOP TIME on a whim. Even at half his full strength as a Heartless, he was able to give Ansem and Xemnas a damn good run for their money too. KH1 Sora deserves at THE VERY LEAST a good B tier. And if we go any game beyond KH1, Sora is an insane beast, just watch the compilation of KH2 reaction commands.
Well yeah, but this is based off of fighting skills, such as weapons and hand to hand. I don't know how much sword, key blade, training Sora has but he's clearly not a fighter, doesn't matter how powerful he is with magic.
@@danielsmith8577 If we were to settle down on weapons only + KH1 only, KH1 Sora learns numerous different Keyblade Techniques through the game, such as being able to parry just about everything, to an invincible 13-hit combo. And again, the rest of the series just has Sora be a menace. Even in the games where it's still KH1-DESIGN Sora, he learns some pretty mean Melee skills.
Problem is that he gets carried by the keyblade

I don't know anything about kingdom hearts lore so if he is pretty skilled then sure he may do well but nick said based on skills and no overpowered weapons so correct me if I'm wrong but if he just relies on the keyblade and magic (even with a couple melee moves later on) I still think he's in the right category. 0:35 as proof, no overpowered weapons so he'd have to rely on a normal sword or fists and I just don't see Sora beating many people on this list other than isabelle and olimar tbh.
@@danielsmith8577 KH1 ironically has a whole section late-game where Sora loses the Keyblade, and at the end when you get to the boss the guy goes on a good rant on how he doesn’t need the Keyblade to kick ass. Then the Keyblade magically returns to him immediately after (for lore reason I don’t want to have to type rn). It’s hard to use that area for reference though because the Wood Sword he has on hand physically cannot harm any enemies outside of magic due to how the Heartless work. In theory though, Sora can definitely pack a punch with any weapon he finds, again KH2 has numerous instances where he’s shown doing cool stuff that’d easily win the argument but I’m staying strictly KH1 here for Nick’s sake.
now I want to see this but based on the opponents they’ve canonically beaten so like, Kirby or Bayonetta have canonically beaten gods, so they’d be stronger than, say, Olimar, since he doesn’t really fight any gods it’d probably go from multiple gods beaten to beings close to gods all the way down to no canon fights (like Isabelle)
