    • @@BeatboxNorwich your subjecting your skin to the equivilant of multiple hours of sunbathing in a few short seconds, its why you'll go blind within seconds of staring at a open weld bead as the welder is welding. Its why when your welding its not suggested but REQUIRED, that you wear full sleeved cotton jackets or shirts, full face plated welding masks, gloves (Also due to the heat of the metal) and steel toed leather boots and pants, its not a style thing its a , We don't want you dripping molten metal on exposed skin and possibly getting intense skin cancer. I once mistakenly glanced at a open bead weld while it was going, it was just a brief second, someone was welding in a public area with no shielding, and I turned my head, but in that brief swipe of my vision I was blinded for a few seconds and my eyeballs felt like they had sand inside the lids for the rest of the day.

    • @@DeathSithe92 yeah as a welder i can say that this is completely true although a bit exadurated if you look at the contact point of welding you want instantly get welding eye ( the thing you described ) you will have to be looking at it for at least a few seconds i acidentaly looked at the contact point lots of times and only got welding eye once when i was looking at it for like 10 seconds most times you stop welding as soon as you see the light since its uncomfortable also some so called welding glasses ESSPECIALY online are fake and are just shaded glass witch wont protect from UV so you will still go blind but not notice it CAREFULLY READ WHAT ALL THE LABLES SAY

Not all welding equip is the same, I believe the guy was using plasma arc welding and thats why it hit so much harder when I glanced its way, I wasn't blinded all day but my eyes felt like someone had kicked sand into them for a good hour before they calmed down, after that they just itched and felt uncomfortable for the rest of the day.

  • Lol yeah don’t weld for too long with only glasses. Your face will get super sunburned. I made the mistake of wearing a white shirt while welding and the light reflected off the shirt and up into my helmet. I had horrible “sunburn” from the UV light on my face and neck.

    • I had the same situation but only on my neck. Next day i had a sweater with a high collar and started to feel iching on me neck. I thought that the collar has irritated my neck but no. It was burned skin. Before that i would never even thought that this is possible.

  • Ultra-soft brushes can clump up easily, and make it even worse than normal brushes which will give you a terrible experience especially if you have sensitivity

  • Here in Australia most cats don't respond at all to catnip, apparently they're from an original gene pool that doesn't have whatever makes them susceptible to it.

    • With cats on average its supposed to be about 50/50 so even in other countries many cats dont react to it. Rabdo fact: I can have the same effect on tigers (but not lions)

  • 0:47 there is a reason for the whole mask since the UV light can also act like i tiny strong sun so you will get burned heavily if you weld longer than 1 min and also the big mask stops the little molten bals of metal that spark out of the flame from going to your face if you want to look like deadpool these glasses are perfect....

  • Your don't really need to close off cat nip. After a while they stop feeling any effect to it, which will then return after a day or two, so they naturally will just leave it anyway.

  • So European version of Dumplings use potato as a filling? A common trick when using all types of vegetable slicer is to apply a tiny bit of oil. This way your vegene can move easily and also avoid accident on your finger skins when it get "stuck half way"

    • Europe's a large place filled with countries, regions, towns, families, etc. Yes, some will fill them with potato. You can get meat, fish, cheese, or the kitchen sink in dumplings. If you're looking for potato dumpling recipes, try the word pierogi, that will put you in Poland. In slavic countries, dumplings aren't food, they're a cult. 😂

  • The welding glasses are not a great idea, its much easier to expose your eyes this way, as well as getting sunburnt by the intense light a welder makes. Great video though :)
