There were no no-hitters for the entire calendar year of 1989. In 1990, there was four in one month, and two of them were on the SAME DAY. Baseball is a random sport!

Sad thing is you won’t see many of these games anymore. Today’s game is a sad pathetic shadow of its former self and pitchers are more often than not taken out with intact no-hitters. And combined no-hitters are impressive as combined hitting for the cycle.

Indeed he does. The only other one who even has 4, with 4, is one Sandy Koufax. Only 6 pitchers EVER even have as many as 3.

@@FrankieG Just a guess, but he may have been referring to Kirk Gibson's walkoff HR in game 1 of the World Series (fun fact: that was the second straight time that the Dodgers were no-hit late in the season and both times won the World Series (other one was Nolan Ryan in 1981)
