And Another 50 Geography Facts You Need To Know About...
This is the 3rd part to the successful geography facts series, you guys seem to like!
This video took a lot of research and work, subscribe to join the others :)
In this video I'll show you random, yet interesting geography facts that you need to know and that could impress your teacher and make you sound smart. Facts about flags, population (people), countries, culture, records, statistics everyone enjoys seeing, such as "the real/true sizes of countries" or "the windiest city in the world" or even that "China + India + USA + most of Europe could all fit in Africa", for instance. Some useless geography facts that might make you sound smart, and that can be useful on a day-to-day basis.

  • Ireland lost so many people because they all fled during the Potato Famine, that was late 1800’s I think, maybe even earlier. Back then Ireland would only eat potatoes mainly and when a famine hit, they all had to leave. Most of them going to America, even to this day, Ireland never returned back to its old population.

  • 5:28 very cool facts about Iran - Turkmenistan border: middle part of border contains a mini mountain range that Ashgabat is just located on its hillside , and Ashgabat is located only 15 miles from Iran border , and Mashhad (Iran's second largest city and one of holiest cities in Shia Islam) is located only 47 miles from Turkmenistan border. Also if you want to directly cross to Ashgabat from Iran you should go to city of Quchan then just drive to north . But you can also go to city of Shirvan (north Khorasan) and then a national park north of it. Of you climb it and get close to border you may see Ashgabat in distance
