Thank you for this video. I have been feeling spiritually depleted in recent days and asked for an increase in the holy spirit to help me overcome some obstacles in my life at the moment. Felt like I was letting God down and Jesus too and I was feeling sad and unworthy, like i I will never measure up but these are old wounds from a very abusive childhood that are showing themselves to me. The enemy is trying to steal my faith by lying to me with these inner thoughts, trying to remind me that I am not worthy to be saved and that God doesn't want me because my parents didn't. It's a lie and I have spoken to God about it and He knows my struggles and my heart. We have to keep reading our Bibles and trusting in Jesus Christ, our Saviour. keeping our eyes on Him and not on the enemy. I opened the Bible to psalm 35 and just completely broke down. Verse 14 really rocked my core. I am no longer a whipping post for my enemies which unfortunately were my family and spouse... I'm reaching out to those I've hurt in the past to ask forgiveness so I may come to the Lord's altar. Forgiving your enemies is definate the hardest especially when you're continually under attack but I've finally done it!! I just pray like crazy!! I’m a Catholic Christian and I can’t find any flaws with this guy’s reasoning and understanding with the holy scripture. There is much wisdom in what he saying. I will say this about fasting if your starting and find it hard do it small steps try fast from meat or something you enjoy everyday (if you're young and like video games or social media everyday fast from that) and progress from there, if you smoke try not smoking for the day.
