I've been searching for a college where I can stand strong in my Christian & Conservative values. As an incoming senior in high school, Baylor is at the top of my list. Thanks for making these, your videos are very helpful :)
wow that’s amazing !! 😢 I love to hear that !! I will tell you that while I believe a good majority of us hold Christian/conservative values, it can still be challenging to speak up about it at times, I have made a handful of enemies and have had opposers push back on me. But it’s SO worth it, and I have hope that if we continue to be persistent in standing up it will definitely pay off!! Wish you the best !!
God bless you! While I don't know you personally, I am extremely proud of you! You are the voice that is urgently needed. I always talk to my daughters about how many need to have more "spine" and not be easily influenced by other people and organizations with questionable agendas. Stay strong and stay true to God, your values, and your beliefs... they will take you far. Well done. My daughter is looking at Baylor, so I am researching as well. 100% agree with the whole video, especially the discrepancy between the loud minority and the silent majority. Like you said, they’ve made it very hard for the majority to speak out and be as free as the minority has been to voice their opinions. Also, in regards to dorm life, I would definitely say to any incoming freshman that your only friends should not be within your dorm. A lot of drama goes down and it’s hard to escape it, unfortunately. Branch out and meet other people in other dorms; diversify your friend group. Loved the whole thing though, keep up the great work! Representing Baylor well💯🙌🏼🐻

I normally don't write comments on videos but we just visited Baylor last week with my family. We're from SoCal and we visited the campus with my daughters and we didn't know what to expect. The school exceeded our expectations. I appreciate your pros and cons and wish the university would take a stand on Biblical views and not cave-in to societal pressures. Sounds like there are some solid students there though and the size of the student body makes the school seem very appealing. You are also very well-spoken and intelligent. It is clear that you could have gone to other great schools but you chose Baylor which will help attract other students of your caliber after they see your videos!

Hi! I’m a rising senior I recently had a meeting with an admissions counselor at baylor and it’s definitely one of my top picks for college, but I was wondering how is the diversity at Baylor?
Hey girl!! Congrats on making it to your senior year! I hope it all goes well. When it comes to diversity of race/ethnicity.. while there may be a significant majority of one race (in this case it would be white), I will assure you that if you are looking for a community of people that you can relate to in that sense, you will definitely find it here. The students who work to promote diversity on campus are actively creating more/bigger spaces for those who are searching for it! ESPECIALLY through the different clubs and organizations that target those aspects, there are plenty of those. Here's a link to search up the different clubs/organizations we have ! baylor.campuslabs.com/engage/organizations Personally, I don't worry about diversity of solely race/ethnicity too much in a school, as I know many others do, it's just not something I prioritize because it doesn't make too much of a difference to me. I tend to look for the diversity in the student body's values and morals (especially with religion and ideology) because that's what shaped me into who I am today. (And there are plenty of spaces here on campus to explore these aspects as well) In summary: There is a place for everybody here. Some are bigger than others, but Im sure you will find your community here!! I really hope that helped

what gpa do i need to apply for baylor university?
So I can tell you that you don’t necessarily have to worry about reaching a specific number for your GPA, the higher the better of course (I would say 3.5 or up will keep you in a safe zone) But from what I can see, Baylor seems to focus on how well their applicants do compared to the rest of their highschool classmates (class ranking, percentile). So you could have a decent GPA but if it’s better than a certain percentage of your school (like 75% or more) and you are at the top of your class, I think Baylor favors that more than the specific number :) Here is a link to how the 2019 applicants did ! www.baylor.edu/admissions/index.php?id=872010

Good question ! I am not entirely sure if they offer full rides, HOWEVER they offer really big scholarships the higher your grades and SAT scores are! The largest one they give is up to $92000 divided by semester ! www.baylor.edu/admissions/index.php?id=873057 Depending on your status within your church, the military (parents included), and other aspects, that can really add up in terms of scholarships as well. www.baylor.edu/admissions/index.php?id=872109 And it doesn’t stop there ! Once you get here there are a good amount of ways to continue earning scholarships :) the ROTC offers some and if you simply look within the department you’re in, it’s almost certain that they offer some every year! Is Baylor conservative? Because I’m a Christian liberal and idk if I’m able to be in a majority conservative environment that’s not 50/50
To be honest, it’s kind of hard to tell. I’m a conservative and so most of the people I am around are conservatives, it’s hard to know from an outside perspective since I know a good majority of conservatives. However to add a silver lining, there definitely ARE people who lean liberal/progressive here. That is a guarantee! To what extent is the liberal population, I’m not sure, but I can say that it is very likely that you will find people that share your same ideology especially with different clubs and organizations you may join ! If I had to give an honest guess, I do think there is a large handful of people who have liberal beliefs here, not sure about it being half but I would bet it’s pretty close to be honest. Even if not, it’s very easy to meet people who are through the people you know. Hope this helped !
