I might be in a better place mentally now, but from September to February this year, my anxiety was the worst it has ever been. I just wanted my mind to stop. And obviously, my anxiety isn’t gone, but it’s so much better. And believe me, fren, you will make it through this. “It will all be ok in the end, so if it’s not ok, it’s not the end.” -me when I was struggling. I used to have this playlist almost nonstop on in summer for good vibes when I had a really rough and hard time and everything failed to make me happy. I suffered from anxiety in a way I had never before and it was the time I decided to start my antidepressants treatment and therapy sessions. Back here after 6 months of medication and therapies and I gotta say, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I'm calm, happy and haven't had a panic attack in a long time. This is your sign that things will get better and I so promise you that! One day, you'll come back here and things will be different - better. Keep going!

POV: I love car rides. The warm summer breeze flowing through my golden mess of hair. The music is blasting while i feel the breeze on my hands. This is why i love convertibles. "The sunset is beautiful, isn't it Ace?" For some reason Ace looks over at me. His green eyes, contrasting with his dark brown hair, lingered on my face before he answered. "One of the most beautiful that I've ever seen." "Well, we can't have you looking around for too long, now can we? Keep your eyes on the road. You have my life in your hands, and I would like to get home unharmed, thank you very much." We both laughed at my joke, because everyone knows Ace is a great driver, unlike me. After we calmed down a bit, Ace suddenly looked very solemn. "Hey, Violet? You know I would never let anything happen to you, right?" His question threw me off. He seems so uncharacteristically serious as he looks over at me again. "Of course I know that Ace. Your my best friend. That's what friends do." A look close to hurt was on his face for a second, but it was gone so fast that I must have imagined it. Of course I did. My words could never have hurt him. Not more than they hurt me at least. Because every time I say them, my heart breaks a even more.

I used to have this playlist almost nonstop on in summer for good vibes when I had a really rough and hard time and everything failed to make me happy. I suffered from anxiety in a way I had never before and it was the time I decided to start my antidepressants treatment and therapy sessions. Back here after 6 months of medication and therapies and I gotta say, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I'm calm, happy and haven't had a panic attack in a long time. This is your sign that things will get better and I so promise you that! One day, you'll come back here and things will be different - better. Keep going!

"The sunset is beautiful, isn't it Ace?" For some reason Ace looks over at me. His green eyes, contrasting with his dark brown hair, lingered on my face before he answered. "One of the most beautiful that I've ever seen." "Well, we can't have you looking around for too long, now can we? Keep your eyes on the road. You have my life in your hands, and I would like to get home unharmed, thank you very much." We both laughed at my joke, because everyone knows Ace is a great driver, unlike me. After we calmed down a bit, Ace suddenly looked very solemn. "Hey, Violet? You know I would never let anything happen to you, right?" His question threw me off. He seems so uncharacteristically serious as he looks over at me again. "Of course I know that Ace. Your my best friend. That's what friends do." A look close to hurt was on his face for a second, but it was gone so fast that I must have imagined it. Of course I did. My words could never have hurt him. Not more than they hurt me at least. Because every time I say them, my heart breaks a even more.
