  • Question: Is it possible that a Waterpik water flosser could damage the clear Essix retainer if you used it on it to try to remove any accumulated plaque? (I am referring to the Waterpik water flosser that has a tank, rather than the hand-held device, which has fewer settings). If you used it at a high jet setting, the pressure might it make it more vulnerable to potential fractures (e.g. make it more brittle permanently, although I don't really see how....I don't know)? OR- it wouldn't really damage the plastic because it is just water? Please let me know your opinion. Thank you 🙏
