I have never heard a Home Free song I didn't LOVE. want a good one it called "Blue ain"t your color" It was originally a country song who they turned into a doo wop song. That one and the song arranged by Adam Rupp and performed by Home Free "Brother" You will LOVE the guys in this one. I just adore Adam in this song.

When Home Free does a cover, they pay homage to the original, but always make it their own. Their covers are always upgrades❣️🎼🥰🎶❤ As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️ #HomeFree #GospelRobLundquist

Not only are they so versatile that they can sing country, R&B or whatever. This is five men harmonizing PERFECTLY a song that was originally done by a quartet.

I love them all, but Rob and Chance are the leads that really touch me. Rob is so versatile, and Chance is a storyteller with such a warm voice. For more of Rob cutting loose I suggest Home Free at the Hosanna concert 2013 doing their version of the carol “Joy to the World “. It’s a jazzy, funky arrangement, and Rob really digs deep. There’s also a beatbox breakdown. As for Chance, I suggest “I Can’t Outrun You “- it’s Chance’s lower register, 5 part harmony, hauntingly beautiful, and Chance directed the video.
Most of us fries can never pick a favourite we just love them all for what each unique thing they bring to the group. Shawn Stockman was a judge on the Sing Off the year they won he love them 😊

I love all the guys, and each has their own special sound, but I have always been a big fan of high tenors [thanks to my dad] ( Austin, David Phelps, Joe Bonsall of the Oak Ridge Boys, and Jimmy Fortune).

These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.

My fave is Rob cuz he looks exactly like my son, down to the full beard, glasses and stocky build! But my son cant sing his way out of a paper bag! ❤

If you want more of Rob's soulful goodness, check out their song "Catch Me If You Can". Legend has it that they couldn't decide who was going to sing lead on it so they were each going to take turns. Rob went first and the rest of the guys said "Nope...we can't top that." There is a reason that Tim and Austin both think Rob has the best, most versatile voice of them all.

Another great one where Rob leads is their original song, 'Why Not', which is a love song that I think you'll like. *However* ... I think its time you saw the goofball side of Home Free. Their cover of a song called 'Brother' is really awesome and they make the music video really funny and fun. I'll put it this way...Rob has 'Braveheart' warpaint on.

You will definitly love the home free church session. They did live recordings of 'go rest high on that mountain', 'it looks good', and 'it's a great day to be alive. Their voices are all in top form, harmonize beautifully, sound so crisp in the recording and mix...and its a good recording of chance in the bass zone.
Those are fantastic videos! And I prefer that version of Go Rest High because I can concentrate on the music without the video distracting me. Go to the Country Rebel channel and find them there.

Great reaction, Red! Rob did a fantastic job on this and really nailed the end. I don't have a favorite. At different times, I've thought one sounded better than the rest, but then the next song I heard changed my mind. I finally decided to enjoy their talents equally. They are amazing performers individually and together.

They took that song to exactly where it needed to go! The song has some desperation at the end and Rob absolutely showed out! His skills as a complete singer brought the grit and desperation to the lyrics exactly where it was needed. Great cover and we enjoyed seeing your enjoyment as well! Low bass Kenneth! You know, I have watched most of the reactions to this and it seems the more people liked the original the more they liked this wonderful cover. Glad you liked it. As far as a "Favorite" Home Free guy I suggest you do on a per song basis and that way you can have your cake and eat it too! I've been listening to Home Free way longer than you and that's what I had to do because they all are so good it just depends on the song and the arrangement and who's doing what as to who I put my "Best of Show" sticker on. Saves a lot of anguish.

It is hard for me to pick a favorite Home Free member! They each bring something special to the group! I was pretty certain you would love this one. There are so many great Home Free videos, but Rob really, really put his heart and soul into this and I loved it! I will suggest an another one of my favorite from a couple of years ago and that’s their cover of “One Man Band”. The video setting is such a cool place and it does add a vibe. Chance, Rob, Austin, and Tim each sing a verse and Rob sings the chorus. It’s so good! It’s on my Home Free Favs playlist.

One reason so hard to pick out a single prrson for praise is that Home Frees constantly shiftong leads and genre ofmusic. You take one member out of the 5 the break up of music of 4 remaining will innsure. I cannot think of any group where each member complimentsthr others

I have been a fan of HF for a decade and I find that my favorite changes with who is singing. I decided that it was impossible to to pick one member over another, soooo I decided to just sit back and enjoy the special flavor of who ever was singing lead (always reveling in the beat boxing at the same time) and savor the perfectly blended harmonies when they all sing at the same time. It seems unproductive to single one member of this group, when the whole is always the most delightful gift they bring to the stage. Why settle for an appetizer, when you can enjoy the entire feast? ☺
