Its funny because there was old school upright roding style, then there was the hanging off Marquez generation style, then there was the hanging off even more Martin generation style. Pedro has kind of an old and new. He's more upright under breaking/corner entry like the older riders, but hangs off mid corner/exit like the recent riders. Pedro looked good on Moto3, but definitely looked like he was going to be impressive in MotoGP when he was on Moto2 though. Proper talent
Good description, he seems to quickly lean off at the peak of the corner, and just as quick to pick it up. He visually looks faster through the turns than all the others.
The way I see it Pedro rides (kind of) like Pecco.
Simple really. A breath of fresh air for the series so far. Long may it continue.
It's so good to see that Pedro with his natural super talent has such a great crew chief and crew. You feel and see the good relation between these guys in every second of this video.

Marquez finished no lower than third in his rookie year and won the MotoGP championship, his saves are legendary. How quickly and eagerly people are to forget those facts and treat Acosta as the second coming of Christ.
People don't forget the good things Marquez has done but also don't forget the aweful and dirty things he has done, that's for sure...

It’s too early to say anything about Acosta this early in his first year. Vinales was also considered a possible champion and it’s never happened.

With out the holeshot device, ride height devices, limiting everything in future of MotoGP, from 2027 Onward, Ducati and everyone will struggle but it'll be the Pedro/ KTM era. Mark my words😊❤

Rossi, JL, Marc, Pedrosa, Stoner....they were real pure talent. Remove 50% electronics and this guy will still slide the bike like young Marc did, while others will look like amature. In terms of natural talent, he eats 20 Pecco on breakfast.

Its unfair to compare acosta to Marquez. Marquez came in the door already on the best bike that was just winning championships. Acosta is on a ktm, not the best bike, and not on a factory team. Tbh he is overachieving. That gasgas bike is not supposed to be on the podium. The ducatis are faster everywhere. Its incredible what he is doing

Lots of nonsense in these comments. Pedro’s KTM is the same as Miller and Binder’s. He’s on a satellite team but has the newest and greatest from the factory. Martin was also on the same bike as Pecco last year. If anything, Pramac was testing parts as well, like the updated holeshot device, before Pecco got it. VR46 and Gresini are on 2023 bikes.

I love the inclusiveness of motogp towards all of its riders from the winners to the last on the flag. It shows just how much they understand how risky riding a super bike can be and they handle each rider with that kind of respect, makes the whole sport unpredictable and entertaining in a safe competitive way

Marc started championship against 3 legends on best bikes , Rossi and Lorenzo on Yamaha and Pedrosa on Honda.

Skill without a good bike isn’t enough nowadays, sadly. Look at how bad Rossi, Lorenzo, and Marc being let down by bad bikes. Hopefully KTM/GasGas can develop a bike that good enough to challenge the champ

We have seen 50% of the special guys go on to greatness and 50% never getting any better than Acosta is right now. Give it a season, let him settle in after a few knocks and we'll see how he's doing then.
