Löw wanted to see knew young players and give them a chance to perform well at the Confed Cup in Russia , so they might have a chance to hop in the A team and maybe play at the WC 2018 in Russia ! He also wants a fighting over the positions in the German team and to let players of the A team now that they dont have a guaranted starting position for Germanys Team at the WC in Russia 2018 ! Khedira and Kroos are leaders , team captains for Germanys A team , but what if booth cant play due to any reason , Draxler is the perfect replacement Captain momentarly ! He got voted best player ! Also Germany finally have with Goretzka , Stindl and Werner real striker , not like Götze or Müller! From U21 EC champ Germany comes Mitchell Weiser , Selke and Platte also typical German striker ! So you see the fight between different positions in the German team will go on, thats a good thing ! Löw has over 40 players to choose from and form a hopeful strong German Team for Russia ! Now comes the thing , Confed Cup winners never won the WC in the following year , that applied to Brasil 3 times and also France ! How will this be with Germany than ? I just hope for them to perform a good tournemant in Russia 2018 at the WC and that they will get hopefully very far ! I dont See them winning the WC 2018 in Russia and to defend their title, would be quit amazing if they would do it ! There are other nations to watch , Brasil , Italy , Spain , Chile etc...Funny Werner got the golden shoe for best goal scorer before 2 other Germans , Stindel & Goretzka ! Chile was and still is a great team, but they got used to play dirty with no consequence. Copa America 2015 was won that way. Their elimination from the world Cup served as punishment for this kind of behaviour.

Germany won the U21 world cup and at the same time the confed cup with a "b-team" where half of the players could've started in the U21 as well. And not to forget that their "a-team" isn't all that old to begin with. The breadth of talent and especially young talent in Germanys national team is astonishing. If they play their cards right and foster these talents we could see them dominate international championships for years to come.

It's a pleasure seeing the way Germans players move when not keeping the ball as well as when they stay one close the other when attacking . I thought that after the 7-1 against Brazil other teams would have learnt from that lesson. It seems they didn't. I wish Italy could do the same, playing in an efficient and disciplinated way but I'm dreaming on. Germany has been worked hard over last 15 years by developing a true system from children. They show speed, perfect symmetry, a lot of technique as well as schemes learned by heart. They could easily present 2 teams in world cup and be likely to have both of them in final. I forecast dark future for my Italy and many others....
