Wallpapers for BYD Seal: how to set your own wallpaper + 11 custom designed examples

BYD Seal has almost 16" infotainment screen, which is one of the largest screen real estates in any mass-market car. One nice customization option for the screen is the ability to configure themes and wallpapers, and you can also use custom wallpapers or make your own.
In this video I will show how you can change the wallpaper through Utility Tools and File Manager. Also presenting 11 custom designed wallpaper graphics for BYD Seal, which are available for download.

Nice wallpapers, love it! How did you adjust the transparency from the app knobs?
Thanks! Some themes use semitransparent circles for those three main menu items, so try switching between different themes and wallpapers to get that same effect.

Thanks for the video. Once you've set wallpaper, how do you remove it again, so it's back to the default background?
Update the theme; go to Variety theme app and select some other theme. Then re-select the theme you had before - this resets the wallpaper to the default wallpaper used in that theme.

do u play sim racing like assetto corsa ? would tottaly cool af if u gave us byd seal with that game😂 .. good for fan service and viewers im still waiting for someone making the mods , su7, ionic5 already available .. but i cant find seal 😶

Hi, when pressing on an image stored on the USB drive, the system asks for permission to access storage (which sounds fine) but also the "gearbox info". Does this sound right?
Haven't encountered that one by myself, sounds a bit weird message. Are you in File Manager?
@@ElectricSeal-bq5wu Yes, file manager, from USB. I checked with others with the Seal and apparently they've had it too. Anyway, just agreed to the permissions and it seems ok.

Millasia kulutuslukemia sulla on ollut tällä ajellessa kaupungissa ja motarilla? Meille tulossa kohta musta excellence awd, mutta vähän jännittää toi kulutus 😄
Sellaista 15-20 kWh/100 km. Viikonloppuna +7 asteessa 140 km missä oli motaria 120 km/h 70% ja loput 40-60 aluetta, niin kulutus oli 20 kWh/100 km. Äsken ajoin 19km, missä 15km motaria 100km/h +15 asteessa ja kulutus n. 15-16 kWh /100km. Ei ole vähäkulutuksisimpia autoja tietenkään Seal, mutta ihan ok.

Juuri näin. Varmaan BYD sitä vähän voisi vielä optimoida softalla, mutta ihan ok noinkin. Kulutuksen raportointi/seurantanäkymä infotainmentissä on aika vaikealukuinen, sitä voisivat petrata ihan kunnolla.

Ei ole tietoa tuosta. Jos olisi tullut, niin varmaan olisi jo laajemmin infoa saatavilla..
