I said he is 11, she said that is when you played him for me lol So trying to find an album with out smut lol Apostrophe was the one...no smut but the best song for an 11 yr old , Don't Eat Yellow Snow. Both the father and the son play the guitar.;) So I thought it was time Dad had his own, Couple of my fav , and I wanted to introduce him to more of Franks instrumentals. and to see some of his performances. I loved to watch Frank conduct the band. Thanks again.

It was the offers of this old wild world > live, to share, to occupy, to have fun and to live together. Unfortunately, we've been so focused on the era change that we haven't had the time or the awareness to get organized. We watched the world as a rocketing rocket through the sky and trust out journalists and operetta musicians to set us free. However the spirit is still there, waiting to be recognized and made aware again and again until it is everywhere rising towards the Paradise of utopians and other unconscious dreamers

from the Läther album.....The recordings for the album were originally delivered to Warner Bros. in 1977. Contractual obligations stipulated that Zappa deliver four albums for release on DiscReet Records, which eventually resulted in much of the material on Läther being released on four separate albums: Zappa in New York (1977), Studio Tan (1978), Sleep Dirt (1979), and Orchestral Favorites (1979), only the first of which was produced with Zappa's oversight. Zappa had planned to include much of the material from these albums as a quadruple box set titled Läther, but Warner Bros. refused to release it in this format. However, Zappa had broadcast a test pressing over the radio in 1977, encouraging listeners to make tape recordings of it; these bootlegs circulated for years before the album's official release.[1]

Thank you, at first I thought you were nuts but, now I can see you have it right. 👍
many tks for that
One of the best compilations I've ever heard!
All track starting times linking please anyone?
I took the pains of putting the timestamps on the tracks, although not indexing the grout. Aybe Sea isn't in this compilation at all, by the way.
Lovely grouping of tunes
The grand wazoo sessions are my favorite drum parts,
Wonderful!!!! Frank was the best.
I just sent a cousin in law ;) 2 DVD's and 4 CD's of Franks music , he has been a closet Zappa fan for yrs lol. My cousin , his wife told me I needed to introduce her son to Zappa.
Genius to the 29,000th power!

Zappa was so F'n Great. His Music should be taught in Music Appreciation Class in High School, if it isn't already.
It is taught in many schools. World wide.
Great job! Good selections and mixes!
Nice compilation. Thanks.

What a marvelous collection. Most of this I haven't heard in years, because it's on tape/vinyl and I know it might not be as immersive but just to hear this brings joy -thx.

This should be in the Library of Congress...nah, Frank wouldn't want to soil it with the "honor". He does lead the American pantheon of musical rebel geniuses!
Well said, that's just the way I see Frank as well. I hope to see him again someday.

FZ, the Best!!
The longer your rearview mirror the better. Today's society is completely rewired.
Même si j'aime beaucoup énormément plus que tu ne peux l'imaginer Zappa
FZ music is the bes! .
ジャズぽいのを集めたのねん。曲間のつなぎも良し。
Merci. Même si je préfère mettre les morceaux les uns derrières les autres à ma convenance

from the Läther album.....The recordings for the album were originally delivered to Warner Bros.
La música de Zappa es lo único que conozco
uau
Funny how you can always recognize Jean Luc.
Choice
Not that FZ is no longer available the felt Forum will never get a greater musician and composer long live FZ music 🎶 ❤️ 😉 👌 😀

F.Zappa è un test per musicisti: se lo accetti, apprezzi e ascolti, bene, sei sulla strada giusta - se non è così..... ahi iahi iahi.... meglio che cambi mestiere..... a no? Hehehe.
art cover- can any of you pinpoint me on the machine in the picture or the origin of the image ?
