Beanus Plays Table Tennis | A Nintendo Wii Sports Table Tennis Movie (feature length cut)
In all of Nintendo Wii Sports resort's illustrious history, never has there been a Mii quite like beanus. Some Mii's choose Bowling, others choose tennis, but for Beanus, both Table Tennis and Baseball are his goal. Fresh out of winning the Wii Sports Baseball World Cup, Beanus visits Wuhu Island to compete in the Wii Sports Resort Table Tennis Super League. But there is no Speedrun to the top, and many dangerous opponents will stand in his way. Why risk it all? for one reason and one reason only.... to find his father, Bungus.
From a young age, Beanus has been trained to become a ping pong master, however, after discovering baseball, he and his father fell out and have not seen or spoken to each other since. He hopes that, by climbing the table tennis ranking system all the way to the top, he can send a message out to his father and they can be reunited. However, the road ahead will be far from simple. Beanus will have to negotiate some of the games toughest and most intimidating opponents, all before facing off against the fabled Elite Four: Dangerous Daisuke, Shoe Slinger Emma, 'The Tumble-Dryer' Hiromasa and worst of all... Matt the Destroyer.

Even if she’s just a cpu mii, it really feels like Lucía is set for a series from her perspective. She’s got that sweet character development, and I think it would be a fun watch
Considering there's upwards of a dozen more games within Wii sports and Wii sports resort,pretty much every major character (bar pipe) could have their own series.
She inspired me in a way to play better. But she also demolished me countless times!

Included) AND A BARNOWL VIDEO IN THE STYE OF A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT OWLS (ok maybe not) And, after the current Baseball world cup is done, The rock sales man should be explained!

You didn't just make me cry, you made thousands cry, in happiness. This is literally a top tier anime by itself.
The tension. The emotion. The inspiration. I'm so happy we got to hear the story of Beanus, this entire video with the great writing and editing is an easy 10/10

I've been getting into table tennis recently, and I've been genuinely using the term 'silver carrot' to describe when the ball hits the edge of the table, to people who actually play properly. I'm not sure if it makes me look smarter or stupid-er, but I'm taking it either way

Alright, after watching this movie again and again, I really, REALLY wanted to pick apart the little errors and inconsistencies like how (as Jude even mentioned in a reply to my comment in the Baseball World Cup) Shinnosuke was accidentally called Tatsuki. But I can't do it. Every time I reach the end of the video I feel myself essentially putting myself in Bungus' shoes when giving those heartfelt speeches. So I want to instead write a short description of that last moment, when Matt returns everyone from within the void: Matt could sense the sincerity of Beanus' words, the empathy he felt towards his plight. He seemed to understand how much he was hurting and as such, a wave of relief flew over him: He wasn't alone in this world after all. His discontent washed away in a matter of seconds and, once he had calmed down, he undid the spell; as if it had never happened to begin with, one by one, each of Beanus' loved ones began to appear back into the plane of existence. Engine Room, Mind Brain, Lucia, Pipe... ...And, most importantly, Bungus, who stood within the audience. He looked towards Beanus with tears in his eyes, a visible glint of guilt that had washed over his being. "Beanus... I..." He stammered, struggling to find his words. He took a deep breath and sighed, composing himself before continuing. "It's not you that should be apologising; it's me. I was so bitter about not making it, I tried to mould you into a person you weren't." Bungus began to look towards the others, Acknowledging each and every one of them, friends and rivals alike. "I wanted to tell you that, when I saw you win the Wii Sports Baseball World Cup, it was the proudest moment of my entire life." His attention turned back to his son, who had been taciturn this whole time, timidly clutching the chest of his shirt. "Since then," Bungus continued, "I've been trying to find the right time to talk to you." His stare turned to the floor guiltily, struggling to keep his gaze on anyone at the moment. "I wish I could have done it sooner, but with the whole "fading in and out of existince" thing and to tell you the truth... I was afraid." Bungus couldn't hold in his emotions. Tears dropped from his face onto the grass below as he began to choke up. It was getting harder to find the words he wanted to say. "I... you... I'm just so...!" He was interrupted by an odd sound. The sound of grass crunching under one's foot. He turned his head up to see who was making that noise... It was Beanus. He was slowly walking towards his father. A man he had seen in the wrong light for four straight years, a man whose story he didn't even know until today. He couldn't take his eyes off of his gaze even as he took step after step towards him. The air was silent, the mass of the public watching the event held their breath. Beanus understood everything clearly now. His father may have had his faults, being so hyperfocused on table tennis that this had neglected to think about his son's feelings, but Bungus has been reflecting all this time. Just as he wanted to see him again, Bungus, too, shared the same sentiment. Here he was now, and he has finally gotten the closure that he had so desperately been looking for. The two stood face to face with eachother for several seconds. Beanus looking up at Bungus with tears in his eyes. Bungus reciprocating stares in tandem. You could hear a pin drop among the crowd. And then, Beanus suddenly lurched forwards, his arms wrapping around Bungus' middle and tightly gripping at his shirt, and beginning to weep with joy. Bungus reached his arms down around his son shoulders and proceeded to return the favour in kind, rubbing a hand comfortingly up and down his back. The audience went into an uproar of sheer empathy, some were cheering, others were sobbing. Such a touching reunion was virtually impossible to celebrate. However, to Beanus, it felt like he was submerged in complete and utter silence. All he was focusing on in that moment, was the fact he was finally reunited with his only parent after four years. He retracted his head and stood beside Bungus soon enough to see his friends, his rivals and those in-between watching them, smiling, tears streaming down their faces. Pipe, Engine Room and Mind Brain were applauding, giving thumbs ups to him and even fist pumping with great enthusiasm. Lucia had her mouth covered with her hands, quivering with glee. Matt appeared to be much, much calmer now, having set down his table tennis paddle and crossed his arms across his chest with visible approval. And the announcer was almost speechless, even hesitating to bring the microphone to his face for a moment. However, he eventually spoke. "Ladies and gentlewomen, I don't know what to say. This is truly one of the most legendary events in table tennis history. Bungus, a former superstar of the table tennis world, has come back after all this time to reunite with his son. Our champion, Matt, has seemed to relinquish the bat alongside his opponent. I think it's safe to say that this match is officially over; the score doesn't matter. Matt will remain champion as his opponent put down their bat first, but I think it's safe to say that everyone is a winner today." And Beanus was happy.
