  • As a skinny 13 yr old white girl in the 80s - I will never forget as I was walking down East 14th in San Leandro CA - I started to be followed by a guy in his 30-40s on foot. He followed me about 5 blocks. I was panicking and didn’t know what to do. A black lady pulled over and said “that guy is following you. Do you need a ride?” She likely saved my life. ❤️

People want less and less to do with the government when it comes to our lives, privacy and finances. Punishing most to help some, is not sustainable at all. Have socialized health care and shit, cool.. everyone can get behind that. All the rest involved, is a tough sell.

  • Everytime I saw a kid on the street.. it breaks my heart 💓.. I'm not a wealthy person yet 40% of my salary I donate and buy food for kids and handicap in street.. I can't bear the pain seeing them.. That was the worse feeling I used to have.. I can't just leave them there.. I wonder why the world just create another Human when they can't effort for it..     • @@lmaoded1550 I live with an average income and I try and give money to the homeless as much as I can but the truth is that there are just too many homeless and I don't have the money to give to every homeless, not many people do, and those who are rich most likely donate money to charities then just specific homeless on the street. Of course there are the greedy rich too.

  • When I was a kid, I often had no food to eat. I felt stomach acid burning my stomach, and I kept crying because it hurts. Although a lot of food now, but I still can not forget the pain of the lack of food before.

I still eat them even so sometimes they make me so sick. Many people don't realize how lucky they are they get to eat everyday.

  • My big sis and I were walking home from our friends house and we came across a homeless man and he ran to us begging for food while crying and I could see his rib bones just sticking out and I IMMEDIATLY ran to the nearest store and bought him a package of water bottles, a blanket, and a bunch of lunchables. Luckily my big sis had 100$ on her so we could buy all that! I felt a real good feeling from the Holy Ghost. After he ate and was full, we offered him to stay at our place until we had enough money to buy a small house for the poor guy and my parents have jobs that pay well.

    • it's not that nobody noticed her, i think a lot of people are afraid of stepping in when they don't know what's going on. as the mother of 4 kids, my initial thought would have been that maybe her family was right nearby and she was in time out or pouting about something. sad that nobody called out to ask 'hey, are you ok?' or 'where is your family?' or anything. i think when it comes to children a lot of people are worried about stepping on a parents toes, so when the woman finally approached her (you'll see she looks around for a family first before speaking to her) other people had their red flags confirmed that something maybe have been wrong after all. at the end of the day, it never hurts to simply ask a question.... though as i type this, times where i wanted to speak but didnt keep popping in to my head. bless all the courageous and compassionate hearts, i need to try a little harder myself to be unafraid of backlash when my intentions are good.
