pl guide me which one is better ,adrill or an agular drill by using different adaptors/settings vise versa converting them one another for mutipurpose use eg drilling,grinding,cutting,polishing etc?

Amistry20 agreed! Not a very good method for sharpening. BUT it's actually a wonderful first step in sharpening kinda. Ish. I used his idea except instead of bare metal bolts I cut out circles of 1500 grit sandpaper and glued it onto the bolt Making a nice thick layer on 1 side of 2 nuts and essentially did the same thing putting it on the bolt and so long as you use only the gentlest touch and keep it lubricated with water it works fantastically for getting chips out of a blade and creating a new Edge for sharpening of course you still have to and should go through all the other sharpening stone steps to get it super extra Mega awesome Sharp but it's certainly faster then slowly doing it with sharpening stone you just have to like I said be very gentle and really pay attention otherwise you'll just ruin the knife in cause more work for yourself LOL
@@supershenron9162 The original idea (using two nuts snug together) would perhaps work just as well or better with a grinding or polishing compound (? lap compound) in between the nuts. Or the compound could be lathered on the sides of the blade. Either way, all could improve the effectiveness of this hack to sharpen knives.
Great idea with rolled up sandpaper like a cigarette. I'm gonna try it for getting off old paint on a shutter door. Most paint came off with heat gun and scrapper. There is some residue paint. Hope the drill with rolled up sandpaper works.
This gave me a wonderful idea thank you. I don't use pencil shapers on my color pencils it's far too wasteful and the color pencils I use are 4 each or 256+ tax for 128 pack so I use a very sharp knife to gently keep the tip sharp when the lead gets to short to effective rotate the pencil while moving. But now!! I use 220 grit sandpaper and put the penicillin in my tiny cordless drill it works so much better and quicker for both keeping sharp and gently sharpening my colored pencils and I just put the pencil on the drill so thank you for that I appreciate it don't know why I didn't think of that on my own

woah! he pure genius of these HACKS is something to behold and I for one am glad I spent the time watching this and also it's immortalized in time now so in the future ppl may be lucky enough to behold the teachers of the past. bravo PS: I threw out all my whetstones and am using the bolt+nuts sharpening technique! my edges have never EVER been like this :)

LMAO this both terrible and amazing at the same time.
Hack saw made to cut in one direction the full length of the blade first he was going backwards it would have cut a lot quicker second he just using that very small portion of the blade and destroyed the cutting teeth in that one spot. Try using it normal now and watch it jam up and hang on the one spot every stroke.
Why would you "not" sharpin the tip of a knife? Am I missing something here?

Please do not saw off screws that way.... You're ruining the saw blade, it's a bad idea to dull 3 teeth on the saw for a single screw.
